We very much enjoyed our stay. The bed was wonderful, large room with all the amenities to relax. Communication and check in was flawless. Great location for us. Grocery store is within easy walking. "Gourmet kitchen" is a little bit of a stretch... but the unit has all the basic and good quality utensils. Parking is good, we have a large F250 and was able to park on the street but the supplied, gated parking would have been adequate.

This YourBedAwaits property is fantastic. Immaculate property. Comfortable. Convenient to neighborhood restaurants and Culver City. Only suggestion ... maybe get a digital antenna to allow local TV stations to be viewed on the TV. (We were able to "mirror" our devices and watch our home TV.)

Weekend Visit

Best place to stay

I come to LA 5 times a year for work and stay for about 1-2 weeks each time. I tend to stay in different locations and this is by far the one place I have stayed that made me feel like I was coming home each day. It is equipped with every little detail that you will need to enjoy your stay. From a ready-to-go kitchen to laundry and then some. The location is fantastic as well - walked to gym, market, restaurants with immense ease. Management was very easy to get a hold of and talk to as well.

First Trip to LA Area

We have never been to LA - we took the trip for our 60th milestone Bdays - and we could not have had a better experience. The location was perfect to all that we wanted to do and then to come back from a long day of hiking, exploring and sightseeing to relax in this very spacious comfy home - would could not be more appreciative!! Would recommend it and we would go back in a heartbeat!!

Remote work getaway

My wife and I both have satellite offices in LA, so this place was a convenient and comfortable change of scenery for us. It’s close to necessities (rite-aid/ralphs) but having a car is a must, the provided parking space is a huge benefit. We enjoyed staying here and the host was helpful.

Sketchy Neighborhood

My wife and I are in our upper sixties and live in a suburb that in 2017 was rated as one of the top 10 safest towns in America. When we arrived at this unit, it was not what we were hoping for. The neighborhood is not as nice as we hoped it would be. We were hoping to walk the neighborhood and that on the busy nearby street, Venice Blvd, we could visit coffee shops and outdoor cafes. The neighborhood is not conducive to that. I accept some of the blame for not determining this in advance. The building and parking area are surrounded by a high black metal fence. You must slide the fence back to access parking (oddly, it doesn’t lock, so your car isn’t really protected). The outdoor amenities are behind a locked gate. The unit itself has a heavy steel security door protecting the front door. The unit itself is “worn”. The wood floor in the living room has seen better days. The living room couch is old and had a small stain that my wife noticed. That’s as far as we made it. We did not stay here despite paying in full, in advance.

Very comfortable place. Great communication with owners . 36$ cab to and from LAX. Nice midway location between Santa Monica and Hollywood tourist stuff. Convenient grocery store within 500 feet. We would stay here again.

Disappointing

The kitchen was well equipped and the apartment was clean. Having a dedicated parking spot was a plus. The apartment seemed neglected, with chipped paint and plaster throughout. The bathroom is in need of renovation. We knew there was no TV in the bedroom but would have enjoyed watching in bed rather than the less than cozy living room. We were not expecting this given the reviews. We are sorry to make so many negative remarks, unfortunately we would not recommend this apartment.

The property was ultra clean, neat and provided a great location to visit family. Only thing I would change is the shower head but that is very minor. The robes were much appeciated after showers and even the coffee was great.

We don't have a favorite wine becasue we like so many however we love wine from the Cotes Due Rhone region and I love the Sauvignon Blanc grape. Our style of traveling is adventurous, active and luxurious. Ok, the luxurious part is more on me. Hee! We love to experience the area like a local which is why we are proponents of Airbnb. We decided to become host after we had experienced Airbnb as guest. Our property in Culver City is only 10 minutes from most major attractions such as Venice Beach and Beverly Hill etc. If you visited Los Angeles then you will appreciate it's location and proximity. We both use to reside in Los Angeles so from time to time we vacation in the apartment. With that being said we tried to make it as comfortable and pristine as we would like and hopefully you will appreciate. We are respectable and responsible host as well as guest.
