What a peaceful trip we had. The scenery and sounds of nature will have us coming back for more. Enjoyed cooking, relaxing, sleeping, watching some tv (it’s July!), and the hot tub with a view. Just perfect.

The property was beautiful. Sits right behind the river so it was nice to walk down a few steps and fish or just take in the views. The gardens were so pretty. It was calming watching the butterflies. There is a glider swing on the hill to take it all in! The house was clean and had everything we needed. The back balcony was so nice to sit out and watch the birds. Paula our host was very hospitable. She was there at her house next door when we arrived. She introduced us to her little dogs that are oh so sweet. The power was out briefly when we arrived, but she brought us a generator, and some battery powered lights! She even brough us over some freshly laid eggs. Everything was great and we would love to return one day.

We rented this cabin for a long weekend getaway, and had a great time. The location & scenery is phenomenal, and the cabin was clean. We would definitely recommend it and would stay there again.

Quaint, quiet, cozy

We honestly loved it. We came for my conference and made a couples weekend out of it. My husband got to fish a little, we were close to Chattanooga where we easily explored without it taking long to get back to the cabin. The cabin itself was very well loved by the owner and she was delightful to meet and chat with. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Weekend

A wonderful place to get away and enjoy nature!

My husband and I (and our dog) enjoyed a long weekend getaway at this property. It was the perfect place to escape from the hustle of Nashville and reconnect with nature. From morning coffee on the deck overlooking the river, to dips in the hot tub, to evening snuggles in front of the fire while watching movies, this home allowed us to enjoy an absolutely amazing weekend. Highly recommend! We will definitely be back.

Overall we had a great stay! We were under the impression we would be able to easily put our kayaks in from the backyard but it was a bit difficult with all the rocks! We made it work though. The inside of the house was very nice and clean. The outside was COVERED in spider webs. We walked through multiple on the back porch. The view was beautiful!

Since we have had no rain for months the river is way lower than normal and makes any water activities very difficult.Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. Well stocked kitchen, nice bed/bedding and bath/towels. Great view, and deck was private from others on the property. Only disappointment was the hot tub, while private, had no view, and had leaves and things in it. I skimmed it and seemed clean but due to lack of view was not interested in sitting and looking at a staircase.Location was great, close to town, quiet area. Enjoyed fishing from shore, though no bites, but still a good time. Due to drought conditions we were unable to have a fire, though we think it would have been great!
