Le concept ouvert avec la lumiÚre naturelle, les plafonds voûtés et le talent artistique qui est évident dans l'escalier rustique en bois et en fer est un mélange de design contemporain et traditionnel.
Venez vous prélasser dans cette maison confortable et agréable, entiÚrement meublée avec toutes les commodités de votre maison.
Profitez du grand patio extĂ©rieur, le cafĂ© du matin parfait ou St. SoirĂ©es Elmo entre amis. Un espace vert adjacent oĂč vous pouvez marcher, jouer au frisbee ou participer Ă  d'autres activitĂ©s de plein air avec des enfants de tous Ăąges.
Le parc St Elmo est Ă  deux pĂątĂ©s de maisons et vous pouvez marcher ou faire du vĂ©lo dans le centre-ville de St Elmo (sur la nouvelle voie piĂ©tonne / cyclable, juste devant la porte de la maison). OĂč vous avez d'abondants restaurants locaux ou pourriez prendre un tour jusqu'Ă  Lookout Mt sur le chemin de fer inclinĂ©. Obtenez de la crĂšme glacĂ©e aux MsT ou continuez dans le centre-ville de Chattanooga sur la promenade River Front.
(Le centre-ville est Ă  2-3 miles ou Ă  5 minutes en voiture.)
La maison est super proche de toutes les activités de do do Chattanooga. Ruby Falls, Rock City sont à une courte distance en voiture du mont.
Il y a beaucoup de beaux sentiers de randonnée à quelques pùtés de maisons de la maison.

We really loved staying at the Blue Gem in St. Elmo. The common space was comfortable and worked well for our family and the kitchen was well equipped. The two downstairs bedrooms were very comfortable and reasonably sized but the loft is a really tight space for adults. If you’re traveling with kids the loft would be a great sleeping space. St. Elmo is very cozy and we loved the historic neighborhood as well as the close proximity to Lookout Mountain, restaurants and the Food City. And it’s a really easy trip to downtown as well. I’d definitely recommend the stay.

The Blue Gem was a great place to stay for our 4 night visit to Chattanooga! The location couldn't be beat, so close to all the Lookout Mountain attractions and an easy drive to the riverfront. The house sleeps 7 and we were a party of 7. But 6 of us were adults. The host warned us that the loft might not be very comfortable for adults. We booked the house anyway and we did make it work, but I would agree with the host that the loft is best suited for children! Adults can't really stand up in the loft. The amazing, charming circular staircase to the loft was also very narrow. But it was a fun space and perfect for the "short" set! We wanted to make some s'mores and found out the fire pit was out of propane. We communicated this with the manager and propane was promptly delivered. It was a most enjoyable stay! Definitely recommend the Blue Gem!

Great stay at the Blue Gem! It was our first time visiting Chattanooga and it was lovely. The Blue Gem is in a killer location in a safe, quiet neighborhood. We were within walking distance to the Lookout Mountain trails and the new playground. Other attractions were also very close and easily driveable, bikeable, or walkable as the house is on the Virginia Avenue Greenway.The house was adorable and comfortable with all of the supplies you need. Our three small children (aged 6, 5, 3) loved sleeping up in the loft. There is also a full sized tub in one of the bathrooms which made bathtime easy.Overall loved our stay and would definitely book again!

A perfect 2 week getaway. Very clean, had everything you would need for a 2 week stay. The porch swing was my favorite place for coffee every morning. Wonderful walking paths especially for our dog. The home is located close to EVERYTHING... hikes, tourist attractions, restaurants, bars, coffee shops and more. The neighborhood was so quaint, quiet and the people were very friendly. St. Elmo just has a very cool, laid back vibe.

Another Wonderful Visit

This was our second visit to The Blue Gem while seeing family in the area. The house is so well equipped and comfortable, and the location is perfect--a quiet neighborhood setting that's convenient to shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed our walks on the Greenway that runs through St. Elmo. And Katie was communicative and available for questions if we had them. This was truly another lovely stay--highly recommend! and we will return.

Adorable home

This lovely house was the perfect home for our family. First off, it is absolutely adorable. It was super easy to get in and out. It was very clean and very well stocked. We would absolutely stay here again if coming through Chattanooga. If there was anything I would change, it would be to extend our stay and spend more time in this home, exploring other areas of Chattanooga!

Amazing Place !!

Property was beyond comfortable and super cute. Rooms were great and the patio very nice. It has all you need to cook and enjoy it with family/ friends. It’s very close to certain amenities, restaurant and neighborhood is super nice too. Host was awesome.

A very well maintained house. They put a lot of thought and effort into remodeling this home for vacation rentals. It is also cleverly decorated, which adds to its charm. A great location in relation to all the Chattanooga tourist essentials and it sits in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. It’s in an old part of town but it seems to be trendy to live in this part of town, based on the number of young adults with children walking/exercising throughout the day. I would definitely rent here again! 3 adults/2 kids on my visit.

Wonderful Stay at the Blue Gem

The Blue Gem lived up to our expectations and more. The house is just as cute in person as it is in the pictures. It was very clean and ready for our arrival. The beds are quite comfortable, and we all slept soundly. The neighborhood is adorable and a great place to walk. We took a few strolls on the Virginia Greenway, sometimes with the destination of coffee or a meal in St. Elmo. It's a five-minute walk to some hiking trails on Lookout Mt. The kitchen is truly well equipped for cooking. Oh, and I can't forget the backyard! It was a hot week, but we enjoyed the comfortable seating areas in the morning and evening. In addition to all of this, communication with the owners was a breeze. They responded quickly and helpfully to any questions. I highly recommend the Blue Gem!

Visit Mojo Burrito, delicious food in a hip environment, 1885 Restaurant for a more upscale dining experience, don't miss out on their incredible fresh water trout blackened or grilled, or St. Elmo's own Purple Daisy and dine on a BBQ sandwich. St. Elmo Deli will provide you with the perfect lunch on the run. Don't forget Mr.T's Pizza and hand scooped ice cream that has been in the neighborhood for over 20 years!!!! The choices are endless!

See seven states from Rock City, visit the nation's largest and deepest underground waterfall at Ruby Falls, take a short ride on the Incline Railway to ascend and descend Lookout Mt, where you have access to amazing views from the top of Lookout Mountain from Point Park, or visit Sunset Rock. We are a mere 5 miles from downtown Chattanooga. Enjoy the river front at Ross's landing on the banks of the Tennessee River, visit the Tennessee Aquarium, and walk right down Broad St and enjoy a Moon Pie! How would you like to see the Hunter Museum or take a walk across the nation's longest pedestrian bridge to Coolidge park in North Chattanooga?
