Charming first floor unit in good neighborhood

Enjoyed the apartment and location. Real beach access is a few blocks north. The nearby beach is acessible at low tide only. We would consider staying again.

Excellent property and location for what we wanted, the unit was in very good/new condition, bedrooms very good size, AC nice and cold after the hot days on the beach, parking convenient and spaced out with enough room for the 2 cars, will be my first choice for next year!

Great location!

Although there was no access to the beach as the description stated when we booked, the location was near many beaches. Across the street was access to view the ocean. The town of Marshfield has things to do and great food. Easy in and out of the Boston airport. Beautiful town! I would recommend family and friends to visit this area.

Can't beat convenience

My spouse, toddler and I stayed for a few nights before some friends joined us. This place was extremely convenient for both a family of three and later four adults and a child. The beach is within an easy walking distance, making this a great option for city folk looking for a quick getaway. We loved being so close to the ocean, as it greatly lowered the stakes and stress of going to the beach (e.g. packing the car, finding parking, food, feeling committed for an entire day, etc.).

Great stay!

We loved the accommodations, perfect for the 3 of us. Great location , close to beach ,shops and restaurants! We love that we could rent it for just the 3 nights and not have to book a full week- but next time we might want to stay longer!

Beautiful and Clean during Covid-19

Andreas was an excellent host and very responsive and nice too! The cottage was adorable, and extremely clean. Great proximity To beaches and restaurants and market too. We really enjoyed our stay and I would definitely recommend!

Great location. Cross street to beach.

Only thing I would say is that couldn’t find hair dryer til last day when I pulled out iron to use. Hiding behind that! Other than that everything was perfect!!

Perfect little getaway

Clean, nicely outfitted place within walking of the beach. Good working kitchen, lots of windows, air and light. Right off main drag, so more traffic might be a problem during high season. Beds are so comfortable and shower is terrific.

Pros and cons

Pros: - very charming and well appointed apartment - literally across the road from the beach - Luxury shower plus outdoor shower - very nice bedding and towels provided - parking for two cars - good wifi - BBQ provided but we didn’t use it - 7 minute walk to excellent beach access - Owner Andreas was very easy to deal with and responded pretty much immediately Cons: - all rooms are small and ceilings are low - portable AC unit rather than central air - but it’s a big one! - we endured A LOT of noise from upstairs tenants who had two toddlers. This was just an unfortunate issue for us and the property manager was very good about dealing with them- they were just very rude and inconsiderate tenants. - backs onto a busy road - property best suited to a couple - not much in the way of seating - could use another chair All in all a lot of effort has been made to make this a cozy and cute beachside getaway.
