Notre maison est située dans deux hectares d'arbres établis et de jardins donnant sur un étang resplendissant de nénuphars et de nombreuses espèces d'oiseaux. Cet appartement privé de style rétro comprend une chambre, une salle de bains, une cuisine complète, un salon, une salle à manger avec entrée privée et un parking dans la rue.
Un feu de bois en fait une base confortable pour se détendre ou sortir et découvrir les attractions locales telles que le mont Macedon, Hanging Rock, la forêt domaniale de Wombat, les vignobles, les restaurants, Holgate Brewhouse et tout ce que les chaînes de Macedon ont à offrir.

Well appointed getaway

The cottage has all you could need for a weekend. Breakfast items were included which was a welcome treat. The bed was very comfortable. Thanks for a lovely stay, I plan to return.

Great little getaway

Nestled in beautiful gardens this cozy getaway was super comfortable and close to town. We loved all the 70's retro inspired furnishings and the wood heater. It has a private outlook and super accommodating host. Highly recommended but be prepared to stay two nights.

Cathy & Philip's accommodation is very comfortable, clean and spacious for a relaxing getaway. It is exactly as advertised, located as a separate unit attached to their own house, and set within pleasant garden surrounds. My wife & I enjoyed our stay and would recommend this accommodation to other couples as well. We would certainly stay there again.

Lovely weekend getaway

Breakfast provided (eggs mushrooms tomatoes avocado bacon and bread) Conarra was stacked ready to light. Views of duck pond out windows. Plenty of reading material on the shelves. Good eating options in town, a short walk away.

Cosy garden flat

We loved staying in Cathy’s place! It’s comfortable and cosy, has a great retro feel, and is in an attractive garden setting. A short walk into the village and not far to drive to other villages around, and to Hanging Rock and other attractions. Cathy was really helpful and we had some good chats!

A slice of tranquility

We had a beautiful relaxing long weekend. The cottage is perfect, restful, calm and tranquil. The arrange of books available could make you just stay indoors all day, and the amazing breakfast provisions meant we could skip lunch. The cottage is so well put together in its 1970 chic detailing. We did manage to get outside to explore, a stay in Woodend is close to everything. Great restaurants, pubs, hikes, and gardens. Thank you to the amazing host Cathy, communication a breeze, felt like a home away from home.

Little gem of a getaway location!

A beautiful location, a 10 minute easy walk into Woodend, this property was delightful. The surrounding gardens are well maintained and the position of the property gives you total privacy. Inside, the property is wonderful, with a retro feel without being daggy or scruffy. Instead, it is beautifully styled, with comfortable sofas and a delightful wood fire. The property is one of the cleanest I have stayed in. Cathy is a great host, even going to the trouble of supplying gluten-free ingredients with the generous breakfast provisions! Definitely recommend a visit to this lovely place.

Thank you Cathy. It was lovely to meet you. I appreciated your response to our booking request at such short notice. Woodlands is lovely. Pretty garden and outlook over the water. Comfortable beds and furniture. Very clean. Fresh eggs from the chickens. Only a few minutes drive to the township. We have no hesitation in recommending Woodlands and we look forward to a return visit.

A home away from home

Cathy was easy to communicate with, she always replied promptly to any queries I had and was very helpful. We arrived on a miserable cold day, it was great to walk into a lovely warm place. A Coonara wood heater in the lounge ready to start was a bonus. The property is located within walking distance of Woodend, but set back from the street and surrounded by a lovely garden. The kitchen is very well equipped, including a dishwasher. The bed was so comfortable and warm. Highly recommended.
