Great location for our group of 6 to attend a wedding nearby and go on bush walks, half way between Mt Macedon & Woodend. Great views towards Hanging Rock.

The Skyhouse is a grogeous property, so cozy, inviting and wirh such amazing views. The property had everythimg we needed for our stay, it was very clean amd comfortable. We had a great time, thank you for such a lovely stay! Rad and Dina.

A lovely peaceful stay in idyllic surrounds

If you're after a quiet getaway in a pocket of natural beauty, look no further than SkyHouse. Adam was a wonderful host and we could not have been better looked after! The house was so welcoming and a peaceful retreat to unwind and relax, looking over Hanging Rock and enjoying the stillness of the local area. We loved our stay here, and will definitely be back again!

Lovely cosy cottage feel with amazing views out to hanging rock. Host was easy to communicate with and made finding the place and settling in easy. Functional property that was comfortable and allowed a bit of a break from modern demands. A lovely getaway destination for me and my girlfriends.

We had an amazing stay at this property. Such a cosy, comfortable and inviting place. Adam the host was very accomodating and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend! Great to take dogs as plenty of secure spaces. Close to beautiful hikes and walks. Last but not least, the view out the lounge room window is incredible!

Snug as a bug in a Rug

Loved this property for the views of Hanging Rock and also the comfortability and coziness of the house with the Fire. Beautiful amount of light in the house. Only qualm any of us had was the pressure of the shower but if that's all you can say then all around a great stay.

Cosy house in fabulous location

A truly wonderful house in a truly spectacular location. A lovely fireplace, a well-positioned deck for the fabulous views of Hanging Rock and some excellent walking trails right on your doorstep. Adam (the owner) was great and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely property

This property had beautiful views of Hanging Rock and a number of lovely spots to enjoy the view. Wood burning stove was a little temperamental which was unfortunate as it was very cold.

The perfect hideaway with the perfect view!

We stayed at Skyhouse for the Hanging Rock Springsteen concert. Brilliant location, wonderful amenities, comfort and relaxation with beautiful personal touches. Thank you for a perfect weekend!

great property

Beautiful property overlooking hanging rock. little tricky to find at first but good once you get there. Windows could use a good revamp though, a few fly wires broken so a few insects got in. Other than that it was pretty good!

Beautiful property

Loved the entire place!! The view, the rooms, kitchen, facilities. Relating with Michele was great, I ended up staying an extra 2 more night because I was enjoying it so much and my dog, Indie loved venturing out and about.

A truly relaxing house

We had our regular 5 day mid winter group break, which was enhanced by the wood fire, comfy seating with wonderful views. The house was beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Our only suggestion would be a second toilet upstairs.

A wonderful cottage for family to get away

We are impressed with the cottage's comfort and thoughtful provision of everything. The location was great, near lot's of tourists attractions. It would be even better if the gas stove and remote control works properly. Also if the dish detergent was not over diluted.... One little disappointment was that the bedside tables was heavily covered in dust in the bedrooms upstairs. It would be great if some herbs like rosemary, basil and mint, and lemon can be planted at the garden. Overall, we are very happy with our stay!

Hi Jenny, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and will definitely take your comments on board. The gas stove has been looked at and the front burner needs fixing. Unfortunately a lot of things don't grow well in the gardens up here due to the extreme cold. One thing I would like to say though is that we would never water down our dishwashing detergent!

Fantastic

Beautiful, house with amazing views, so very comfortable for the six of us. We enjoyed the area around Mt Macedon and Woodend, easy to get around. We would highly recommend this house to anyone that wants to chill out or have a wedding in the area to stay.
