Lake Michigan Beachfront Cottage avec immense terrasse et faible Bluff - nouvellement mis à jour!

Ce magnifique chalet en bord de mer du lac Michigan dispose de 4 chambres, 2 salles de bains, 2 cuisines entièrement équipées et 2 espaces salon / salle à manger! Il a été récemment mis à jour avec des portes coulissantes en verre de 16 pieds et des fenêtres de traverse, créant un mur de fenêtres pour profiter des sites et des sons du lac Michigan! De nouveaux revêtements de sol, des mises à jour de la cuisine, y compris un lave-vaisselle et un tout nouveau système de climatisation, ont également été ajoutés.

Il y a 2 niveaux dans cette maison qui ont leurs propres entrées séparées, offrant une capacité unique d'avoir plus d'intimité si vous voyagez avec d'autres familles. Chaque niveau comprend 2 chambres avec des lits queen-size confortables, une salle de bain complète avec douche, une cuisine et un salon et une salle à manger confortables.

La table supérieure de la salle à manger peut accueillir confortablement 8 personnes, et il y a 3 tabourets de bar au comptoir. Les espaces de vie à aire ouverte permettent à tout le monde d'être ensemble, même lors de la préparation des repas dans la grande cuisine.

Toutes les serviettes, draps et oreillers sont fournis. Il y a une buanderie au niveau inférieur.

Lorsque vous sortez sur la terrasse spacieuse, vous entendrez les vagues et admirerez la magnifique vue panoramique sur le lac Michigan. Détendez-vous dans le confortable mobilier de pont ou promenez-vous le long de la promenade vers le lac. Balancer dans la grande balançoire en bois, ou profiter d'une tasse de café dans les chaises / table Adirondack 2 places avec vue sur l'eau.

Notre faible bluff rend l'accès à l'eau sans effort. En plus de nos 60 pieds de façade sur le lac, il y a une plage supplémentaire juste à côté. La plage publique du comté d'Oceana est directement au nord de nous, où l'eau chaude du lac Silver sort dans le lac Michigan via Silver Creek. Cela crée un endroit idéal pour que les enfants jouent dans l'eau chaude! Little Sable Lighthouse est à seulement 5 minutes à pied vers le sud, ou vous pouvez marcher vers le nord et avoir 4 miles de la belle plage de Silver Lake State Park pour vous tous.

Si vous cherchez quelque chose à faire dans l'eau, nous avons un kayak de 12 pieds, un SUP, un canoë et un pédalo disponibles à la location.

Il y a plusieurs chaises longues pour se détendre au soleil et des chaises de plage pour s'asseoir au bord de l'eau. Il y a beaucoup de jeux et d'énigmes à l'intérieur lorsque vous êtes prêt à faire une pause sur la plage.

Quand il est temps de manger, il y a un grand gril à gaz à 6 brûleurs avec 2 brûleurs latéraux pour accueillir de grands groupes. Profitez de votre repas autour de la grande table à hauteur de comptoir avec (6) chaises pivotantes rembourrées et des vues à tomber par terre.

Profitez d'un feu dans le foyer ou asseyez-vous autour de la table de feu confortable sur le pont. Quoi qu'il en soit, assurez-vous de vérifier les étoiles la nuit! Oh, et avons-nous mentionné les couchers de soleil? Ils sont incroyables et vous aurez une place au premier rang pour chacun!

We had an amazing experience staying at Sandpiper cottage. The home was exactly as described - huge deck, clean, cozy and well-equipped with everything We needed. The location was perfect close to Silver Lake Dunes or Cherry Point Farm and Market where we had Fish Boil Dinner.Check in was smooth and communication with the host was fast and helpful. We especially appreciated beautiful view and beach and kayak. The area has many nice hiking trails, apple peach farms and winery.I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Absolutely the cleanest place we have ever rented. Lovely views from the "beach before the beach" area. We watch meteor showers which were amazing. We utilized the kayaks and the paddle board as well as a new raft. Very comfortable set up with plenty of room and spaces to spread out. Well stocked kitchen. We made lots of good memories and will hopefully rent this place again in the future. Hosts were very responsive to questions we had.

Wonderful house with amazing view!

We had an amazing time at this lakeside cottage! Scott & Gwen have thought of everything that you might need for a great vacation. Our kids loved playing in the sand and creek and there were plenty of beach toys provided. Everything was clean and comfortable. We loved being able to open the sliding doors and hear the waves even when you were inside. There are plenty of fun activities close by but our favorite part was being at the cottage and relaxing!

This is our second time staying at this beautiful house because we loved it so much the first time! It is open, bright, and clean. It has a great layout for a large extended family to stay together. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful private beach (the shed is full of chairs, toys, paddle boards, and fun games) and it is only a short walk to the Sable lighthouse.Less than a 5 minute car ride to Mac Woods, ORV rental shops, and Craig’s (arcades, go carts, putt putt). 20 minute ride to Lewis Adventure Farms (highly recommend for families). Scott & Gwen are wonderful hosts and were easy to contact with questions.

Wonderful place. Huge deck was perfect for our small grandkids to play on, even a toddler gate. Short flight of steps, then a short trek down a sand hill to the beach. A creek running parallel to lake shore was great for the toddlers. They loved all the soft sand. The shed was full of toys and chairs for everyone, the sun shield worked out great! Beautiful sunsets every night, we even made s’mores at the fire pit. The house was well equipped and beds were comfy. Perfect for our family of 7 adults and 4 small children.

Adorable, spacious and quiet

Two houses in one! Very clean. The view is amazing and the beach access is steps away! Parking is perfect for parking a truck and trailer for SxS(50ft). There's also a public parking lot across the street! Two minutes away from Lighthouse. 5 minutes from dunes! Scott and Gwen were amazing and very prompt at communicating with us! We'll definitely be going back!

A wonderful stay

We can't say enough good things. Location is great and the accommodations were very comfortable. The only thing I would add is that if you have little kids, help them with shower temperature as it can get very hot. Having the kayaks and SUP was a huge bonus.

Greetings! We love West Michigan with the many opportunities to enjoy being outdoors and and enjoying family activities! Our family has made countless memories enjoying the beaches, bike trails, canoeing and camping all along the shoreline.

In 2019, since both our boys were in college and we had already sold our family pop-up camper, we considered purchasing a rental property and fell in love with this little cottage. Although it was out of our price range, by renting it to families, we're able to afford the mortgage, taxes, utilities, maintenance and many expenses of a lakefront home. We are hands-on, doing much of the maintenance, care and remodeling personally.

We live in Holland, MI. Gwen is an RN, and Scott owns a business that provides non-medical, in-home care to seniors who aren't ready to move to a nursing home. We are blessed with two adult sons, two daughter-in-laws, 2 grandbabies and a golden retriever.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

The views from this property are amazing! The public access beach located to the north, gives unobstructed views of the lake, and the neighbor to the south sits far away from our house, with bushes and trees between us.

The house is comfortable and cozy all at the same time, making your experience at the beach one to remember. The separate levels allow for privacy, yet the large deck and beach frontage allow for families to gather and enjoy each other.

The linens and towels are included, and the kitchen should have everything you need. Laundry is available on the lower level if you need it, but chances are you won't - after all, you're on vacation, right?

Since this property is relatively new to us, we've been working hard at updating and remodeling between seasons. We've added A/C, a new furnace, water heater, totally remodeled the upper level kitchen with granite counter tops, new range, refrigerator, flooring, paint, doors, trim and a new 16 foot wall XL sliding glass doors with transom windows.

The separate living spaces work nicely to provide an extra element of privacy between friends, families or grandchildren. This layout works especially well for parents vacationing with adult children and grandchildren. It's nice to be together, but it's also nice to have options for privacy.

The large deck functions like an extension of the house, with comfortable seating to relax, eat a meal or keep an eye on the grill. Just a few steps toward the waterfront, you can relax on the large Adirondack swing, or enjoy your morning coffee or brunch on the Adirondack chairs at the top of the bluff overlooking the water and beach.

If you are drawn to the water, you can swim, play or go for a walk down the beach. You're also welcome to use our kayaks, SUP or canoe. The low bluff and private beach, as well as the public access beach to the north provide lots of space for playing in the sun and waves.
