Construction Nightmare!!!!

I have been visiting this island since 1974. This was close to my 100th visit. Never have I had to deal with Construction NoIsE in the space directly next door. The first week it was constant from 8:30a-4p, making the apartment uninhabitable during that time. Then the next week it was quieter, but still going on for the remainder of my stay. The owner claimed not to know, or that it was supposed to have been completed before my stay. Not a real great explanation, but the only one that was offered. I do look forward to a Partial Refund

Seclusion and Tranquility

This is the place to go when you need to get away from the madness of the outside world. Steps from the ocean and nearly always empty 3-mile pink sand beach.

Spectacular Beachfront Jewel

What an amazing property!! We absolutely loved everything about this area, condo, and host. The sunrise views and beach were simply spectacular and the host was wonderful to work with.

Pristine oceanfront beach condo !

Overall stay was great ! The ocean was stunning and the sand like flour. All appliances worked well, the living area comfortable and bedrms with ensuite were good. Beach walks were so relaxing. The condo was comfortable but improvements could be: patio furniture. We had to bring the dining room chairs outside to use as there was only 2 on the porch .. these were not comfortable for long evenings outside .. and fixing the screens on the windows - we couldn’t open any windows for ocean breeze at night . Also if there was the ability to have satellite tv - this would be a plus- but the streaming tv was great to have. The “returning locals renters” were so nice to get to know and have around ! Would definitely recommend staying here.

New years break

We decided to bring our family for New Years !!! We made the right choice !!! This property has direct access from patio to a precious 5 mile beach !!! The staff that operate this property are very friendly, polite . The lead coordinator Shanta will make it all happen from daily housekeeping to dinners . The end result is I would come back and have booked again for future dates !!! Thank you team !!!

Quite aged

We had several apartments during our stay on the island and this was the worst. Started with the challenges during the payment process. Then we tried to „park“ our luggage before the official check in but did not get any answer until an hour before the official check in. Building is located right at the Long Beach which is amazing! View and beach is great! Unfortunately there is no mosquito net on the balcony door
. So we had the keep the sliding doors closed. The were many of the small and aggressive mosquitoes and bedbugs on the sofa. I have communicated this and only got the answer that these are not bedbugs
kitchen ist sticky and in the laundry half of the equipment was not working 
. so overall super happy we just had to stay 2 nights!

Comfortable apartment right on the beach

This property was well equipped, comfortable and in a beautiful location. The wide beach is stunning and very quiet. We enjoyed using the tennis court and the kayak on the sound side and the road was really good for running. We would be happy to stay there again.

property was everything as we read on listing page. cleaning lady was extremely thorough . came back after a walk on the beach my dress were ironed and hung in closet . better than the RITZ !!! the property manager is excellent and top shelf chef !!!! thank you all !!!

No Betta Beach!

Owner was able to accommodate our last-minute rental and we were not disappointed. The location is amazing. This was our first time on Windemere and will definitely come back. The stunning beach is right out the back door and merely steps from the water and phenomenal pink sand beach. The beach is great for walking with a nice hard pack pink sand for miles. The 'apartments' provide an abundance of beach lounge chairs making use of the beach very convenient. No expense was spared in decorating and furnishing the unit. Very cute decor and everything we needed was supplied including towels, cooler, etc. We loved our stay!

Windermere is a special pace for us, and glad we could fit in a quick trip down to the Bahamas over fourth of July. Appreciate the flexibility as our schedule changed!

Beautiful beach

We visited this apartment on Windemere Island over Easter break and fell in love with the area. We will definitely return. The only thing that would have made the trip better was if the owner was a member of the club on site. But that would not prevent me frim returning ti the property.
