The host was amazing! We were able to bring our dogs with us, huge bonus for that! Host was quick to reply and very detailed in instructions etc. House was perfect an cute! There was no issues. We had a group of 9 and we had plenty of room!!One thing id probably recommed would be to add a few more towels to the house as it says it sleeps 13 but theres not enough towels for 13 people. Which was fine for us, but bigger groups would need a few more. Other then that i cant see anything wed change! There is so much to do in dells! We loved it and we will definitely be back!!

Great location. We were looking to spend some time at the dells for shopping and water park. Wish we would of had more time to do some hiking around the property. Would stay again to get in some hiking. Thanks!

Quiet, comfortable, close to Dells

Had a group of 10 with 2 dogs. Really liked the seclusion. About 20 minutes to the Dells. Three rooms with 2 of them having bunk beds. 2 pull out couches in the living room. Nice back yard with fire pit. Easy check in. House was nice and accommodating for our group size. Overall nice. A little worn down in areas but looks like theyve been working to improve it. Would stay here again.

If you’re look for a clean secluded stay this is your place. It’s close enough to all the attractions without any hustle or bustle. Scenery is beautiful and the quiet is peaceful. Jeremy was beyond attentive and helpful.

Peaceful acres

We got there and it was out in the woods just what we wanted. Had a small issue at check in but was handled very quickly. The house has everything you need plenty of space for the kids. Close to everything. My kids and my husband loved it just what we needed. We will be back for sure.

Great for families

Quiet and peaceful. Short trip to the dells. Good for 2 adults with children. Only I when bed. 2 bunk beds. Full over twin. Rental for not have crib as described .. Luckily we had a last minute sitter for our baby so I we didn't need the my e crib.

The property was a decent place to stay. The location was quiet and private. The biggest let down was the pond. We were informed we could go fishing there. We were also told there was a nearby pond to swim in. The fishing pond was covered with algae. There was no nearby swimming pond that we could locate. We enjoyed our stay.

There were only a couple of things I missed. One was some sort of baking sheet. Since we had 8 in our group cooking bacon in the oven would have been best, but there were no appropriate baking dishes. A kitchen towel would have been nice too. There were plenty of paper towels, but I missed a regular old hand towel. Also, this is the first time I'm stayed in a place that didn't have at least some kind of shampoo or body wash. We all took our own, but having some there makes it so much easier. Obviously, nothing that would prevent me from staying there again, rather just minor recommendations.

Better than Expected!

We stayed in this property for New Years weekend and it was perfect for our family of 8. The house was very clean and close enough to the dells to hit the casino on NYE. About 15 minute drive. We forgot a couple items when we left and the owner is going to mail them to us. He was very easy to work with from initial booking to leaving. We would like to try the house in summer as the property around it looked nice.

Overall good with few changes needed

The stay was really peaceful and enjoyed beautiful surroundings but following things are observed 1) only 1 bath for overall house 2) the bunk beds are little old and we’re making noise while sleeping. 3) The master bed was also making sound of we move and was uncomfortable

Lots space but no drinkable water

The house has room to sleep up to 6, we only had 3 people so plenty of room. This property does not have drinkable water, this is in the rental agreement but not stated directly on the VBRO site. At the nightly rate charged (including all the cleaning fees) during off season, I think that it should have included bottled drinkable water and soap and shampoo in the shower. Also, with the money from the cleaning fees, the ceiling fans should be cleaned, the fan above the table was caked in dirt.

Hi Linda, so sorry you did not give us the opportunity to speak on this issue in person. The rental agreement you received from our host must have been the old one before that issue was addressed when we first purchased the property years ago. The water is state of WI inspected annually and is completely safe to drink. It passes every year without issue. We appreciate you pointing this out so we could make sure there is no confusion on the issue. We have addressed the dust on the cieling fan as well. Thank you! Jeremy

Infested with lady bugs bugs !!

Upon arrival the house was filled with bugs alllll over. In the common area all in the bedrooms! Throughout the entire house! There is an infestation of lady bugs !!! I had to go to dollar general to buy bug spray in order to remain in the property!! I wanted to cancel my stay asap. The property manager came to vacuum up the lady bugs upon arrival but they came back asap !! There is no drinking water no bottle water provided in the home. Furniture outdated !! The grill for barbecuing is so small we purchased another one because the grill was so filthy!! While being outside on the porch it’s a ton of bugs you can’t enjoy it because the porch lights attract them and there is no bug spray or anything pertaining to being out back. Everyone was not able to sleep because of the bug problem. We slept with all the lights on. The bugs came day and night all day

Not Secluded

Although the inside of the property was clean and away from Dells, we felt as if we needed to let others know this property doesn't just share access all other houses and trailers are in the same area. It was not as busy as a KOA but it definitely could be. There were are tent sights, RV sights, and other cabins out your door. We had people doing laundry in the garage of the house we were staying in, others walking around and coming in and out to get to there area. There were also two paint cans full of cigarette butts on the front porch. Now for the inside of the house it was clean but we stayed for a week and only had 5 towels for the whole week. Idk about you but I like to either clean my towels often or change them out but we could not. 5 towels for 5 people and 3 are kids lets just say I kept mine separate. The dishwasher was not properly secured so it would fall out when open and putting dishes in was a huge no go for use. The screen door to the back door was broken and has been for a long time making it hard to enjoy the breeze and not let bugs in. We ended up changing the whole plan to this trip. We wanted to just stay in and enjoy family time and explore thinking we were secluded and it was the complete opposite so we enjoyed the Dells and all the activities in the area. Oh and the pans SUCKED. Everything stuck even with a gallon of butter.

Above and beyond!

Everything was on point! When checking in the house was sooo clean, only thing that was dirty was the ceiling fan in the living room. But other than that the backyard was peaceful during the day & night! We loved going around the trails and seeing the deer from a far. 😍 the living room couches are new as well!! Sooo comfy, I would catch myself falling asleep at night 😂 thank you Jeremy for being such an awesome host!! We will be back next year for my boys birthdays again :)

Family get together

We had an excellent time and our two dogs enjoyed the trails. Unfortunately it was raining so we couldn't take advantage of the canoe. We did enjoy our stay.
