Luxurious Villa Acebo 4 bed, 4 bath, Private pool

Hi Hazel, Thank you for your review we always appreciate feedback. We have blocked dates out early next year to install a covered outdoor kitchen and dining area, this we hope will add to the areas of shade throughout the day. The patio tiles are non slip, but I understand when they become wet they do become slippier if running, which we advise guests against. Saying that, when we install the outdoor kitchen we are going to retile the whole pati, removing the pool room entrance away from the guests area, and doing our best to find something that even wet doesn't become at all slippery.

I note your negatives and appreciate this feedback, both these points you made were also concerns of ours, and hence we have blocked out dates early next year to install both air con and an outdoor covered kitchen area with an integrated BBQ. I was very disappointed to receive such a review which I believe is based on the last day of this family vacation. We have all just had the most horrendous year with Covid, and villa rentals have suffered immensely, so posting this when people are trying to recover from the huge losses makes it, to say the least, spiteful. I did not rate these guests with a negative review, despite the verbal abuse I was subjected to by Agnes' husband, as I believed he must also be under immense pressure from the pandemic. When this family of 7 arrived they asked could they stay a few more days, I said it was fine and gave them a price for the extra nights. The family promised to pay, first via VRBO, then by bank transfer, then in cash. Nothing was ever given to me and on the last day Agnes's husband called me and verbally abused me for over 30 minutes. His thoughts were that they had paid enough and why should they pay for the extra nights, Agnes mentions price in her review, which was a very fair price for 3 weeks for a family of 7. I just asked him, when I was able to get a word in between his abuse, if they could leave the property on the agreed date and time, if they didn't want to pay any extra. As for the rest of the review, I accept their opinion, this is a typical Canarian villa, with original style Canarian mosaic tiled bathrooms, just as the photos show, I do not encourage anyone to rent my villa with misleading photos. Everything is kept to the highest standard and my property maintenance team is excellent. The pool is larger than most private villa pools, it is the size stated in the description and shown in the photos and you have a great view of Montana Roja from the patio. I love my villa and I love to stay there, so I try to furnish it with items that I am happy with and materials to make my holiday perfect, and I hope others feel the same when they visit . Agnes, when she arrived, contacted me and told me that the villa was lovely but needed a workstation for her husband. My maintenance team came out straight away and provided an extra work table, power cords and extension leads, they will try to help anyone who is staying in the villa. I wish Agnes' family well but advise that her husband calm down and stop being so rude and abusive as surely this can be no good for anyone.
