Ce n'est pas une location de vacances, mais notre deuxiÚme maison. AccÚs optionnel à des cours de cuisine avec chauffeur privé, chef privé, cuisine à la journée ou en série avec les chefs primés au prix James Beard à un pùté de maison. Nous voyageons beaucoup et tout de suite, nous nous félicitons de ceux qui ne peuvent respecter et comprendre ce qui est exigé d'un immeuble historique. The house is a beautiful home. It has a lot of charm.There is a 14 page contract that you have to sign, but please don't let that scare you, it is just the typical things.My only thing that people should know because it may be an issue for some is all the bedrooms are upstairs. This is nothing against the house, just information for some if they can not climb stairs.You will receive a welcome packet from the owner, which has a lot of local recommendations. If you want to use the trolley system, the St. Charles pick up line is just a few blocks away. There is also a gas station and grocery store also a few blocks away.I would rent this house again

We booked this property for a full week, and chose it because of its character and also its proximity to the Smoothie King Centre (we had Paul McCartney tickets!)The property is beautiful and so quirky, it felt more like staying in someone’s family home than a holiday rental, which we loved. It felt true to New Orleans which added to the experience. Both bath and pool towels were provided which helped reduce our packing!The house is on a nice residential street, and it’s just a short walk to the streetcar from which it’s approx 10 mins ride to the French Quarter one way, 10 mins to the Garden District the other way.The Colombian restaurant over the road was amazing, well worth a visit. There is a lovely Rouse’s supermarket a 10 min walk away.We walked a fair bit from the property, including to the Smoothie King Centre, with our two children. All very easy, even at night.The flip side of being so centrally located is that there is some traffic noise. There are white noise machines in the bedrooms, but if you’re a very light sleeper this might not be the property for you.Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We expected there to be master bedrooms. That is how I filtered my search.Not sure how that happened. We were not pleased with the one upstairs bathroom.

Pool and hottub were amazing.

House was beautiful well stocked with towels and kitchenware and paper products. Beds supper clean and comfy loved our stay.

Beautiful Home

The home is very nice inside and my kids loved the pool. The house is a historic landmark and has beautiful stained galss windows and floors. The beds were comfy. The location is right of the highway, which you can see from the pool, but it's not that bad of an eyesore and is not noisy. It is only a 5 minute walk to the streetcars, which was nice. The owner/host has lots of rules, so if you are bringing kids, make sure you know them. The host was responsive, but was condesecending and arrogant at times. He left most of the responsibilities to his local contact.

Great historic house...with a POOL?!?!

What a delightful stay our family had. On the hot hot New Orleans days, we were able to cool off in the pool. The kids and adults loved it. Its a quirky house, but that's the magic of New Orleans!

Park’s bachelor lowdown.

Great place to stay location was close to a lot of stuff. About the only thing that was bad was the condition of the pool being dirty and you had quite a few lights not working due to bad bulbs. Just seemed a little dark throughout the house. Everyone had a great time and I’m not trying to take away from it. Just making you aware and I wasn’t going to have anything done while I was there. So I would rent again when and if time permits. Thanks

Girls Trip!

We absolutely LOVED everything about our stay. The property, location, management team, amenities, EVERYTHING. So much room - the beds were SO FREAKIN COMFY, too. Great for a group of girls too, we had no issues all getting ready with all the space to spread out. We cannot wait to come back - Ms. Shinda was an absolute joy to work with too. Will be coming back to stay again SOON!! Worth every penny 3

Great place and location

Property is great, tons of character and rooms are large. Pool and hot tub are great amenities (we only used hot tub). The only thing I would suggest is that the listing be a little more clear about the bathroom count as there is only one full bathroom, located on the 2nd floor, and then one half bathroom located on the 1st floor.We searched for a place based on number of bedrooms and bathrooms so that was a slight disappointment, however, the house is great and our trip was only a few days so it wasn't a big deal.Highly recommend the property and the property manager is a pleasure to deal with.

So charming! And the pool and hot tub were great

The house itself couldn't be any cuter, so charming and so beautiful. The beds we're all very comfortable, and the pool and hot tub we're so incredible after walking around all day. There we plenty of towels and the house was otherwise fully stocked. The only negative was the road noise from the highway but there were sound machines in every room and sleeping with ear plugs made for a great night sleep.

Nothing else like it. Huge home steps to St Charles Avenue, a CRAZY array of fantastic restaurants, 10 mins to the French Quarter, downtown, or Garden District Less than fifty Arts and crafts homes in the city and this is the only one I know of that can be rented short term.
