Notre appartement se situe dans un quartier résidentiel d'Ealing. Nous avons tout à proximité: la station de métro de south Ealing (Piccadilly Line) se trouve à 2 minutes de marche (environ 150 mètres). Elle relie le centre de Londres en 25 minutes et l'aéroport d'Heathrow en 20 minutes. Les parcs de Lammas et Walpole sont tout près également (voir carte). Sans oublier la superette Sainsburys, le pressing, la boulangerie Japonaise (dont la baguette est excellente), les salons de thé/café, et le centre commercial d'Ealing Brodway.
Le célebre et immense centre commercial de Westfield est accessible par la Piccadilly ou Central Line.

Il y a une chambre spacieuse et très lumineuse comprenant 2 lits jumeaux qui peuvent être transformés en lit king size, un rocking chair et de très grands placards.

Le salon/salle à manger contient une table et 6 chaises, un canapé lit (king size), un téléviseur écran plat, un lecteur de DVDs, ainsi qu'une petite videothèque mise à disposition.

La salle de bains est étroite mais tout confort, avec une baignoire, lavabo et toilettes. (un sèche cheveux est disponible)

La cuisine qui donne sur le jardin, est certes petite mais offre le nécessaire dont on a besoin pour un séjour de un ou plusieurs jours: four à microondes, four électrique, plaque à induction, machine à café Nespresso, réfrigerateur, grille pain, machine à laver le linge ainsi que tous les ustensiles et plats indispensables.

Si le temps le permet, vous pouvez profiter du jardin ou il y a une petite terrasse avec du mobilier en teck. Une pelouse synthétique a été installée récemment.

We'd like to offer you the chance to visit our bright and airy one bedroom apartment in a converted Victorian house, located in South Ealing in west London.

The apartment consists of:

A spacious bedroom with two comfortable single beds, which can be converted in a King size bed.

A lovely living/dining room with a table, TV, DVD player and a large couch that converts into a king sized bed.

A small but perfectly formed bathroom with bath & shower (hair dryer is available).

And a small kitchen with an oven, electric cooker, toaster, induction hob, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge and washing machine.

Plus you will have access to a small garden with a raised decking area with outdoor furniture to enjoy the sun.

The apartment is located on a quiet residential road, a few minutes walk from the cafés, restaurants and shops of Ealing and Northfields. And because we are two minutes walk from South Ealing underground station (Picadilly Line), not only is London very close, but you will also be only 20 minutes from Heathrow too!

We are also close to excellent road links with the A4, and M4 offering speedy access to Heathrow, the M25 and beyond!

Excellent place for a stay of a few weeks. Host was lovely, and let me in early, which was very nice after a long flight. It's close to the tube and has some very cute pubs around, as well as access to a mall. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place.

This is a great property. It is very conveniently located right next to the Piccadilly line and a 10 minute walk to the Elizabeth line and it’s in a quiet street. The property has everything you need.

Lovely

The apartment has everything we needed for a 10-day stay. The host was easy to communicate with and lives upstairs for any questions. The apartment is a 3-minute walk to the metro, which goes directly to Piccadilly Circus, and in the other direction goes to Heathrow Airport, which is very convenient.

Another excellent stay!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Valerie’s and it was just as wonderful as the first. Valerie and her husband are very responsive. The flat is clean, airy, and warm. It’s only a couple minute walk to the tube; shops are close by, and lovely parks, too. It really feels like home.

Great access. Comfortable!

Everything was great with our 5 day stay. Price was good and easy access to the Tube (underground). 4 min walk to the Piccadilly line. Host lives above but we never need them except to gain access. It is a separate apartment on first floor. Would stay again!

Wonderful London visit. This lovely Ealing flat was perfect. It is located close to shopping, pubs and public transportation, with two train stations within walking distance. The property is well appointed and also has a cute sunny backyard space. Our hosts, Rick and Valerie are truly the best ! We look forward to returning soon !

Big recommendation

We loved the apartment and had an absolute wonderful time! Rick was so nice and welcoming. The kitchen was small but totally fine and we had fun cooking in it. Ealing is beautiful too! The little shops and restaurants were a highlight. Perfect location with a short train ride into the city! We definitely recommend the apartment. Thank you Valerie and Rick!!

Great place and perfect location

Our host Valerie did more than she needed to, starting with providing goodies for our daily b'fast and paying for our rental car street parking for all our days of stay. She also offered recommendations for public transportation since the train station is around the corner. Everything went very well and our stay was very positive. If we ever come back to the UK, we will definitely book it again. And we will recommend it to our family and friends since the location is very convenient and our stay was very comfortable and pleasant. Thank you Valerie for your great hospitality and assistance. A Perfect London Experience

If you are looking for an absolutely delightful flat in a charming neighborhood hosted by the most caring and kind owners, this property is it! I enjoyed several weeks in London while I explored the area and worked on the marketing for my book, BUOYANT. Everything about the property was perfect from its convenience to the Picadilly line to the wonderful pubs, cafes, and restaurants in the Ealing area, to the comfort and loveliness of the flat. The flat truly felt like a home away from home. Valerie and Rick's hospitality is exceptional in every regard! 5-stars all the way around!

Charming flat with access to all of London within steps

The host is charming, and was very gracious about our much delayed arrival. The flat had everything we needed, the bedroom was spacious- really unusual for London! -and nights were surprisingly quiet and peaceful given proximity to main road. The living area is also spacious, felt relaxing to come “home” to after long days out. The location is outstanding for close proximity to Picadilly line, and for bus that goes to Ealing Broadway in one direction, and Kew Gardens, as well as Richmond for lunch in “Ted Lasso’s” pub in the other. Also close to a large beautiful park. We would absolutely consider staying here again when next in London.

The Best Spot to Be!

Had a great time at this location. Easy access to London and airport. Although there was a potential tube strike that all went away at the last minute. Rick helped us with needed heat pad when wife had back issues which allowed us to fly out on time. Nice flat with the outside area being a plus, Treats were a nice welcoming addition! There are stairs to negotiate to get to into flat and into kitchen. The bathroom stairs would be an issue for anybody with mobility issues. Highly recommend!

Convenient, comfortable, safe

We feel like we hit the jackpot. Rick and Valerie were such great hosts. It was easy to communicate with them before our stay. The underground for the Picaddily line is so close as is a little grocery store. Restaurant choices abound. The flat is very nice. It has everything we needed. We felt happy to come home at the end of a full day of sightseeing. There was no downside. We rented a car and it was good to be in the west side of London. It made travel easier.
