Hi Antoineete Thank you for your nice review and glad you enjoyed the villa, pool and outdoor space. I have measured the single beds as they are a standard single mattress from IKEA at 6ft long. There is a smaller single available in Spain on the width at 75cm, but the singles in the bedroom are Spain standard width at 90cm? The IKEA bed frame also has a seated area at the bottom of the bed that runs flush with the mattress and adds a further 12 inches so in total the bed is 7ft? Apologies the air con leaked as a bug had crawled up the outside drainage pipe, but was very pleased I was able to contact an air con engineer to come out within 48 hours to repair the leaking unit. Nancy I have read your review with interest. You initially contacted me 6 days before you were hoping to go, stating you only had enough budget to pay over 60% below the advertised rate? There was then further negotiations back and forth over the coming days and your budget increased significantly, I finally agreed to a slightly reduced rate, but clearly stated "wed site fees" would have to be on top and then you approved this offer? Strange, that you then found the budget to book additional flights a day early, due to rain forecast on your day of departure. I promptly replied and answered all 95 of your texts for the 7 days you were at the villa and asked you on several occasions to enjoy your holiday. I went to the villa with my family for Christmas and New Year and again at the start of Feb some 3 weeks before you arrived, so I am not sure I understand your comments stating the villa was shut after the long winter period? I have a very longstanding trusted network of professionals who I have used for many years to maintain the villa and are now considered close friends, as they continue to help me maintain and run the villa and literally bend over backwards to help me out. The professional pool and hot tub company is owned by Antony (A.G.Pool Services) 5* reviews who run over 750 pools locally and he kindly visited the villa within 4 hours after you requested the hot tub needed to be emptied for every new guest and was dirty. He told me categorically that the hot tub did not need emptying and was clean, levels all correct and would be a total waste of €275 + the wasted water to do so, I hope you understand I have to take his advice as he is the professional? For reference he also sends me pictures every week after the cleans for both hot tub and pool. There was one brown mark on the inside of the over door as per your picture on text, which I have since employed the services of a professional oven cleaning company when I went out for Easter two weeks, so this is now spotless again. I have also noted your comments about the "new items" at the villa which I have now amended on the villa description, sorry my fault I did not update as they are now over a year old and for reference were not bought 2nd hand, but new. I am also sorry we did not live up to your expectations, but it is a family run villa and we do the best we can. Kind Regards Gary

Hi Elainne Thank you for your detailed review and apologies if you got lost going to the villa. These directions have been in place for 17 years so sorry if they caused you any difficulty? I have just returned from the villa with my family and fortunately we did'nt get one bite so maybe there was a swarm of them during your stay, I know sometimes of the year or worse than other times, I hope it didnt cause too much inconvenience? Regarding the pool, as I explained in an email prior to your holiday. Every outside pool worldwide that uses a pool heater heats the pool by 1-2c a day. The temperature of the pool is governed by the night time temperature, so if this is 18c it will take between 5-7 days to heat the pool to 28c which is a normal temperature for a pool. We do have a pool cover which should stay on at night and helps the temperature for 4c. The electricity cost to heat the pool is approx £30-£35 per day so 7 days before someone arrives and 7 days for the length of the stay = 14 days = £420 approx. It is just an option for clients to use if they wish. This review has caused a little confusion for a guest that has recently made an enquiry, the pool heater would only be required during the winter months from October to April. Children are much less sensitive to colder water than elderly people unfortunately. I hope my explaination is satisfactory. Kind Regards Gary
