Ce spacieux appartement de deux chambres est situé dans le sud-ouest de Portland, à six minutes de l'université d'État de Portland (PSU) et de l'université Oregon Health & Sciences (OHSU). Un bloc se trouve un arrêt de bus avec des bus fréquents au centre-ville, la ligne de métro léger MAX, et Lewis and Clark College. Il est à quelques pas du tram qui se connecte à OHSU. Deli The Elephant bien connu est à proximité, à environ un demi mile sur Corbett Ave. L'appartement se trouve à proximité du front de mer du Sud, plusieurs parcs et centres commerciaux et restaurants à proximité. Il est pratiquement le centre-ville, pourtant situé dans une rue calme sans issue. Cela signifie pratiquement pas de circulation dans ce quartier sûr. Apportez votre vélo et rangez-le en toute sécurité sur votre terrasse privée.
Les environs sont parc comme, avec des arbres fournissant de l'ombre en été. En hiver, lorsque les feuilles sont sur les arbres, il y a une vue à travers de la rivière Willamette. chaises extérieures confortables sur le pont vous invitent à siroter votre café du matin ou déguster un verre de vin le soir. Vous aurez toutes les commodités de la ville encore sentir comme si vous êtes en séjour dans une maison d'arbre. Easy and Beautiful

The directions for getting into the place were super simple and well communicated. The place itself is in a nice quiet area but is still close to many of the things in Portland. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The check-out instructions were also easy to follow. Overall a very smooth and great experience staying here!

Weekend Visit

Came to Portland for a long weekend visit with my daughter who’s attending OHSU and her husband. Enjoyed the Oregon Zoo, Multnomah Falls e-bike tour and some great restaurants. The property was so comfortable and perfect for evening games. Quiet neighborhood.

A great getaway

I had one of the best vacations I’ve had in years. There were many things I enjoyed in Portland: therapy at the Portland Myofascial Release Center, acro at Tempo Circus, and the Portland Salsa Congress. And staying at this VRBO was also a great part of the trip. The place was clean, had great views, in a nice neighborhood near lots of fun places, included many of the comforts of home like a washer and dryer, and the price helped make the trip happen with greater ease as well.

Very Nice, Good Location

This property very much met our needs for our one-week stay in Portland. We were a bit disappointed in the cleanliness (bedding, cobwebs, deck) which is probably an outlier (maybe the cleaners had a rough week) as most other reviews are high on cleanliness. We would return.

Nice and quiet location but no central air, so during the hot weather, the bedrooms were hot. Only 4 bath towels so we washed a lot of towels.

Portland vacation

We had a very nice stay. The apartment was clean, quiet and had convenient parking. It was nice stepping outside on the private balcony in the mornings. We also enjoyed being walking distance to Elephants on Corbett. I was even invited to a game of cribbage one morning. The location worked well getting to the places we were visiting in the city. The fold-out bed in the living room was most comfortable when the mattress was on the floor.

Beautiful location, AC not hooked up, unit not clean

Floors were not clean, shower curtain has pink mold, baseboards look as if they have not been cleaned in years. Balcony has broken down cardboard on it, outside furniture not cleaned this season. Seemed like staying in a kind of run down version of what the photos show.

Lovely place, quiet convenient location

We loved how quiet the neighborhood was, even though it was just a few minutes from downtown Portland. We were there during a cold spell and the heating worked wonderfully. Kitchen had most of what you would need for cooking (spices, oil, utensils), though we didn't do any ourselves. The mattress was a bit on the firm side for my husband and I but I know a lot of folks prefer that (it was perfect for my mother in law)! Thank you Nancy and L.E. for the lovely stay and will keep your place in mind next time we are in town!

SCAM

DANGEROUS SCAM The owner fraudulently AND RUDELY claims we have stolen her WIFI Nest !! Similar incident was reported by another user review where the host has fraudulently made a similar fraud accusation and not returned the damage deposit to the guest. We also asked if she provides a crib and high chair and her response was to buy it , use it and return it back to the store!!!

Hi Mehyar. We had a Google Nest in the living room before your stay and it was reported missing by our cleaner after you left. The only thing we can do in such situations is to file a damage claim with VRBO. Regarding the high chair and crib: You asked if we had them, and I said we did not have them. I suggested a couple clever workarounds for you for your short trip to Portland.

Almost perfect

Thank you for your hospitality. We had a great stay; the neighborhood was nice and quiet. We stayed during a heat wave. We appreciated the a/c, however it wasn't hooked up properly with a window block (pexiglass) there was only the regular screen, therefore, all of the cool air went right outside. It was too hot to open the bedroom windows, so the rooms were hot and muggy. The toilet stopped working. The tank did not fill up with water and we had to fill the tank with the shower head after each flush. Not the best thing to do in the heat and it was inconvenient. Maybe the toilet needs a new flushing unit if this happens often. We ended up leaving a day before we were supposed to check out because the home didn't have any air flow in the stifling heat. We ended up missing the last day of the Waterfront Blues Festival, which was a major bummer (this was the only reason we were in town, and we come every year). Also, the back sliding door doesn't lock. This wasn't a major concern as we were 2 stories up. I would love to come back. I hope these issues are fixed, then I would be happy to give 10 stars. Again, thank you for your hospitality.

Geräumige Ferienwohnung

Die Wohnung liegt in einer Einfamilienhausgegend, zur Innenstadt von Portland waren es mit dem Auto nur knapp 10 min. Auch mit dem Nahverkehr ist die Innenstadt relativ schnell zu erreichen. Störend war der Verkehrslärm von der nahen Fernstraße, der allerdings bei geschlossenem Fenster nicht hörbar war. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll und bequem eingerichtet und man kann sich wie zu Hause fühlen. Den Balkon haben wir aufgrund der Lärms und weil er auch nicht sauber war, nur zum Wäschetrocknen genutzt. Leider war bei uns der Geschirrspüler defekt. Wir hätten ihn aber wahrscheinlich sowieso nicht genutzt, weil nur sehr wenig Geschirr (etwa für 1 1/2 Tage, bei 2 Personen) vorhanden ist.Pflege und Putzmittel sowie ein erster Vorrat an Kaffee und Gewürzen standen bereit. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut für einen längeren Aufenthalt geeignet.

Perfect Stay

My girlfriend cried when we had to leave! She wanted to live there. Very peaceful apartment on a quiet street, love the balcony among the trees. Beds were comfy, but one small complaint: don't expect much from the pullout couch, it's seen better days.

Quiet, comfortable property - family-friendly!

Our family of four stayed at this property in the middle of a two week Pacific Northwest road trip. We had been staying in hotels and were ready to do some laundry and cook our own meals for a few days. This property is well located - quick drive to a large grocery store, quick drive to the Pearl District (and street parking is fairly easy there). The apartment was quiet and comfortable - beds and shower were great. We would definitely stay there again!

Nice Weekend Getaway
