Portland Sanctuary

Modern mid century boho chic two bedroom apartment unit in a gorgeous private craftsman bungalow home built in 1910. The unit is spacious, cool and provides ample room for a cozy stay. You will find new appliances in both the bathroom and kitchen. Both bedrooms are outfitted with tempurpedic mattresses and clean linens and towels and accented with local Pendleton prints. Backyard is shared. We do have chickens in the backyard and if you like fresh eggs we are happy to drop off some off. There is a slight additional cost for pets and 5th guest. Please inquire.

This was the best Vrbo I’ve ever stayed at. We enjoyed the apartment, the art in the apartment, the garden and the chickens. The host was also friendly and helpful. A small issue was the struggle with the TV but it didn’t diminish the experience

Very quick trip, not using a lot of the amenities. However, the unit is very well outfitted and decorated. It’s almost like walking through a beautiful secret garden to get to the door. Will definitely try to stay here again.

The space is very nice, warm and inviting, and very comfortable with quality furnishings and decor, open and cozy at the same time.The host is very warm and friendly, and professional. We really enjoyed our stay. The space itself was tucked away behind the main house and very private. Very homey and had all the amenities we needed for our 1 week stay. Our host, Veronika, was very responsive and gave us tips on local eats. Parking was easy and the location was close to all where we wanted to go. Also there were cute happy chickens in the backyard.

The property was very nice. Clean and well equipped. Communications with Veronica were very responsive. Parking can be a problem. When we arrived there was nothing available in the street and when both sides are full there is only room for one car to go through as the street is very narrow. We had to park on a side street. Could not find access to the house from the alley. Walkway to back of house to enter can be difficult for any kind of handicap. Weather was quite hot while there and there is no AC. There are fans in the bedroom but not capable of cooling enough when that warm. There was a small machine in the living room but again not able to cool down enough. Unit has been renovated and it really is very nice and comfortable.

Everything was great! The mid century vibe was very hip! My cats and I enjoyed our stay! The host was very welcoming and accommodating. Everything worked. Also, location is great! Minutes to Alberta Arts District. And the chickens were so cute!
