La villa Rest Heron est un sud isolée face villa. Excellent choix pour les familles ainsi que pour les couples qui veulent obtenir loin de tout. La villa est ouverte avec une atmosphère lumineuse et spacieuse partout. Bien équipé avec les commodités modernes, tous les jours. Cette villa délicieusement ensoleillée, bénéficie d'une grande terrasse donnant sur un 23x13ft piscine chauffée. Au-delà de cela est une belle vue sur la voie navigable. Les portes de mur-à-mur patio dans le salon et salle à manger donnent sur le patio et la piscine blindé, où vous pouvez déjeuner au lever du soleil ou profiter de repas du soir car il définit! Un pont soleil et joli jardin en outre conduit à l'accueil de la navigation, où vous pouvez pêcher ou simplement vous détendre. Des chaises longues, des clubs de golf, des bicyclettes et des raquettes de tennis de sont fournis. Cannes à pêche pour une utilisation sur le quai et des engins de plage pour les belles plages à moins de 10 minutes en voiture. L'utilisation d'Internet gratuit à haut débit sans fil. Calm and quiet place

We had a great time in the house, nice calm area in Rotonda, nice to have a pool and a short car ride to enjoy the beach at Boca Grande.The house had all that you need, from beach towels to kitchen utilities.

Our stay was lovely. The house was very comfortable and had everything we could need. Enjoyed the heated pool, fishing and wildlife from the dock in the back yard. The house was very clean and well stocked. The only complaint for me was the twin bed mattresses were rather firm. Thankyou for a lovely stay. Your home was comfortable and homey and we enjoyed it very much.

Great place to stay!

A wonderful, well-kept home in a quiet neighborhood with lots of wildlife to see in and around the canal. The fenced-in yard allowed us to watch the alligator in the canal without wondering if he would come ashore or not. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed to cook. Close to Boca Grande beach, where a manatee swam right past us! The pool was good to relax in. Would definitely stay here again!

The place is very nice. We made food in the kitchen. We swam little bit in the swimming pool but we enjoyed the beach and jet ski in Englewood. The pool is somewhat clean. I had to remove bugs. We played the pool game. This place is wonderful place to stay.

2024 Family Vacation

Me and my husband bring our kids to this area each year to visit family. We love the area and the house was very nice. Had everything we needed for the week, which made it so easy to pack knowing we didn't need a lot of stuff. It was a little to warm to use the pool table in the garage do us but maybe a different time of year. The Management Company was very responsive when we had a question. Overall made nice memories and had a great time!

A lovely clean home in a quiet neighborhood

The home was very spacious and well maintained. We live in the same state so we were able to drive there with extra supplies just in case. Well, we did not need anything. The home was well stocked with dishes and linens. The WiFi and cable worked really well. The pool was spotless and relaxing. The only drawback was that the neighborhood is quite a distance from the water/beach and shopping. There is a Publix nearby and a handful of restaurants. It was fine for us this time because the intent of the trip was to relax. Great area if you bike or like to walk. Plenty of room for a family. The Master bedroom is on a different side of the house, away from the other bedrooms. Thank you Michael for your hospitality and the great condition of your home.

Nice little getaway!

We enjoyed our stay here! The pool was GREAT, the dock and views were amazing, we LOVED looking for alligators every day, the beds were super comfy (I slept better than I do in my own bed!). I chose this place for our family because it showed and stated it had bikes, a pool table, a foosball table, beach stuff galore (including 3 boogie boards). Out of 6 adult bikes, only one was rideable because the tires would not stay inflated, the pool table was uneven and so was the garage floor so playing a game of pool was nearly impossible, same for foosball, only one of the three boogie boards weren’t broke. There was a terrible smell in the garage the whole time as if an animal or something had died in there; we aired it out by opening the garage door almost daily.though so it was tolerable. The kids were still able to utilize the pool table, and we managed with one of the broken boogie boards. We were really looking forward to taking bike rides around the neighborhood every morning but we took a couple walks instead. The property had ample space for us and loved the master bedroom/bathroom! I also chose Rotonda area because I knew we were going to venture to other surrounding areas, making it the middle point. It worked great for us and all in all had a wonderful time! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Thank you for your comments. I did ask you to contact our local manager about the smell you mentioned to me during your stay. They are there to help with such things that may happen in a home. You should not have to put up with that. Always call them, it is what they are there for. As for the bikes, we make renters aware these are there for your use free of charge, we don't charge you any extra. We service them when we visit, but we cannot maintain them from a distance. We asks guests to repair punctures and such. I find it hard to think that 5 bikes had issues with air as all the tubes have sealant. We do ask you in our info pack, to mention any such concerns to us direct (rather than wait till a review) That way we can se how to address them. We can't do anything if we are not aware. Boogie boards are not ours they would have been left there by a guest who did not want to take home. Glad overall you had a good time, it is very rare for us to get negative comments such as these, as we strive to have everything just right for for guests, as other reviews will tell. Thank you

Our new home away from home!

We have found our new home away from home!! This home is convenient to everything you could possibly need while here. Our favorite beaches and restaurants were only minutes away, which makes any holiday that much more relaxed. I was determined to see a dinosaur this trip, and right when we went over the first bit of water in the neighborhood I look over, squeal, almost making my boyfriend wreck because I spotted a.... DINOSAUR!!!! And there were also some in the waterway behind the home, I named them all El Champo! The weather wasn't in our favor the first couple of days which is normal for FL summers, which was another reason I fell in love with this home because of all it offers in terms of entertainment for the kids and us adults. We were never bored. The absolutely ONLY downfall to the home isn't anything about the home but is something all of FL has to deal with, which is that trash bins have to stay in the garages, but the family before us seemed to have eaten a fair amount of fish and forgot to set the bins out that morning for pickup. So in the afternoons the smell could be overwheling when going into the garage, but like I said, that's all of FL especially in the blistering summers. On our way home the kids were already planning our trip back next summer, which was interesting due to the fact that my prissy daughter is determined to wrangle a dinosaur and bring home with us lolol!! I can't thank the owners enough for letting us stay in their lovely piece of paradise!

Very Welcoming

We really did enjoy the property. There were a few lights burned out and the fridge wasn't staying cool enough, when we contacted the property manager it was after 9pm but they responded within an hour and came out the next day to fix it. Our only suggestion to the owners would be to get new flooring, the vinal flooring throughout the house was peeling up along all the edges. It was a lovely property, very peaceful and clean.

We loved the pool but only got to use it one day. The weather turned horrible. Coldest it has been in years there with extremely bad winds due to the Noreaster. We still loved every moment.

Can't wait to go back

The house was exactly as pictured and the contactless check in was simple. The communication with the owner was easy with quick responses. The kitchen was the best stocked we have ever had and we do rentals frequently. They also had more towels than I have at home and also beach/pool towels. We enjoyed using the pool table, bicycles and beach chairs provided in the garage. There is a bike trail near the house and also walking trails and golf courses within Rotonda. We paid to have the pool heated which made swimming great. We also loved watching the wildlife through the screened in Lanai every day. We now know why they call the house Heron’s Rest as we saw the heron every day and egrets, anhingas, sand hill cranes and alligators. We saw a very large alligator several mornings and once it came up on the bank on the empty lot next door for a photo opp. Also saw baby alligators from the golf cart path bridge nearby. We enjoyed the beach and kayaking which is about 20 minutes away. Our favorite restaurants were Farlows and Lighthouse Grill. There were two very minor maintenance issues that occurred during our two month stay and the property management company resolved them right away. We would definitely stay here again and were sad to have go back home.

Amazing!

We fell in love with this place the minute we walked through the door! The large sliding doors out to the pool area was just so inviting and a wonderful place to relax. We just immediately felt like we were home with warm decorations and pictures of the family that owns the house. The neighborhood is a quiet one and an easy drive to many beautiful beaches. We would spend our mornings on the beach and then come home and relax in the pool in the afternoons. It was well worth it to pay extra to have the pool heated so then we could swim at night under the stars. The rooms were perfect for our grand children giving each one of them their own space and at the opposite end of the house was the master bedroom with a very spacious bathroom and a wonderful rain shower. We would love to go back and I know the grandchildren are ready to go back any day they had a great time! It was a perfect grandparent getaway. Thank you for such a beautiful place!

So they should both be able to take care of all our needs as we grow older! We have family in Florida, so visit regularly. I jog to keep fit, my wife shops! We just love it here, not just the sun, but the whole area is unique, unspoiled and special. You will have the most relaxing, " Get away from it all", fun time here!

We just fell in love with this area of SW Florida! Its non commercialised, not spoilt, a real taste still of local, community, Florida. Real people still live here! Beaches are fabulous! Uncrowded white sand with the most incredible sunsets over the gulf. When we decided to buy here we wanted not just a vacation villa, but a home situated in the very best area of Rotonda and in the perfect position. Secluded, south facing on the waterway. Villa is equipped to the very highest standards, besides it is our home!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

For me 10 minutes to the beach! for my wife 10 minutes to shopping! It's away from it all, yet has all you need to hand. Walking, cycling or we like to jog, around Rotonda, spotting wildlife as we go. The Villa backing on to a waterway means you can sunbathe, relax and dine on the patio with a glass of something special as the sun sets! or why not rise early to see it glow over the water!
Where else can you relax and watch the local wildlife play? Herons rest on the fishing boat dock, otters at play and fish for supper, Egrets, birds of all varieties. Spot the Alligators as they glide by!
