Superbe cottage avec vue sur la mer

Le chalet est au cœur de Crackington Haven avec une vue imprenable sur la mer et la campagne. Il est plein de caractère avec un sol en ardoise d'origine qui a le chauffage au sol, des poutres et un poêle à bois. En bas, le chalet est à aire ouverte avec une cuisine élégante, un coin salon et une salle à manger. La cuisine a un lave-vaisselle, plaques de cuisson et four, micro-ondes, évier de style Belfast et réfrigérateur-congélateur. Le coin salon offre une vue sur la cour avant encadrée par des granges du XVIe siècle et les portes-fenêtres arrière donnent sur un jardin sécurisé et isolé avec vue sur la mer depuis le jardin. A l'étage, deux chambres. Une chambre double avec lits jumeaux dans la deuxième chambre. Le chalet est charmant tout au long, plein de caractère et est bien entretenu et entretenu toute l'année. Le chalet est agréable de rester toute l'année avec chaque saison offrant quelque chose de spécial. Il est particulièrement confortable pendant les mois d'hiver.

Cosy and homely

Cost cottage home out of the way of tourists with a lovely garden and comfortable bath upstairs to soak in. Great location for Tintagel and Boscastle. Host was generous with giving information and tips. Perfect for getting away from it all!

Comfortable cottage near great surfing beach

Set in a quite location at the top of the hill leading down to the ravine of Crackington Haven. A very comfortable little cottage, very well equipped and maintained. A great base for exploring the north Cornwall coastal area.

Lovely cosy cottage

Cosy, peaceful cottage.

Beautifully warm, pretty little cottage. Lovely downstairs space with underfloor heating and log burner. Sheltered garden with westerly views. Excellent community shop over the road. We greatly appreciated all the additional information Tim emailed to us - especially the beautiful walk from the cottage to the beach.

Beautiful little cottage in a gorgeous location! Check in process is easy and great pre-arrival info from Tim the host. Small but perfectly formed, kitchen has everything you need. Only thing I would change is the dining chairs which do need an upgrade, but that is a minor criticism of a beautiful cottage - we had a great time as a family and would love to come back.Crackington Haven is such a gem - just off the beaten track enough to feel like a well kept secret, but close enough to Bude to mean that the amenities of a town are close by! Perfect location for exploring Cornwall, and the village shop, pub and two cafes in Crackington Haven mean that you don't have to venture far unless you want to. Just got home and wishing we were still there.

Perfect and restful

Just what we were looking for. Traditional cottage very well equipped. Rugged coastline with great variety of beaches and things to do. Feel like we need to return because a week wasn't long enough to explore everything we wanted to see. Tim's information gives an accurate description of the experience you will have. Definitely follow Tim's and other visitors recommendations.

Perfect experience of Cornwall through thoughtful hosting

This was the perfect experience of cottage life in Cornwall. The cottage was comfortable, well situated and quiet. Beautiful sunrise in the morning with all the soothing sounds of Cornwall life. We arrived late on our check-in date, and Tim was incredibly accommodating and helpful. Truly the perfect host. I would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a quick "recharge" in your life and who is looking for an authentic Cornwall experience. Lots to explore and little gem restaurants within the area. Thank you Tim for being such an informative and gracious host.

Disappointed

Couldn’t find cottage as description said red door. It was grey/green. Key safe didn’t work therefore no key available until we made phone call. All chairs at the property were very uncomfortable. Old and worn out. No shower curtain. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable bed. Good heating, which is necessary as windows had condensation inside and doors and windows draughty.

Dear guests: Please do not ignore the travel directions that are sent to you. We take time and trouble to ensure accuracy and to ensure your safe arrival. It always makes sense to familiarise yourself with the cottage appearance before traveling so that you can easily recognise the cottage on arrival - there are plenty of photos available on the website, some specifically detailing the front door. Every guest receives details of the key safe which is for your exclusive benefit.It is very simple to use and in perfect working order. This review mentions a shower curtain which is strange because the cottage does not have a shower. We are fortunate in that the vast majority of guests report high levels of comfort in all regards with this cottage. However, during colder periods we can expect some condensation on the windows. The cottage is well ventilated dispelling moisture quickly. Please be aware that this cottage dates back to the 16th century. This is not a modern property; it is a traditional Cornish cottage which was neither built nor designed to be a sealed, sterile dwelling. Built in the days when fishing was a life priority it is a living, breathing piece of history with flagstone floors, beams, wood-burning stove and thick, solid stone walls. This unique cottage is packed full with character and charm which our discerning guests love; returning year after year.

Richtig süßes Cottage in schönster Umgebung

Wir, zwei Eltern mit 18jährigem Sohn, hatten knappe drei traumhafte Wochen in einem schnuckeligen Cottage mit attraktivem Garten. Wir haben uns in dieser Zeit wunderbar erholt. Quasi von der Haustür aus konnten wir tolle Wanderungen machen, mit Muße oder zügig ans Wasser laufen, dort in einem vorzüglichen Pub einkehren und mit Freude wieder in unser Cottage zurückzukehren. Auch der kleine Dorfladen hat seinen Charme versprüht und die dort ehrenamtlich Arbeitenden waren immer zu einem kleinen Schwätzchen aufgelegt, was, dank der MitarbeiteInnen, auch mit mäßigen Englischkenntnissen gut zu machen war. Da wir mit unserem Auto dort waren, haben wir uns über den Stellplatz vor dem Haus gefreut! Kurzum, uns hat in diesen knappen drei Wochen nichts gefehlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sehr schönes und liebevoll eingerichtetes Cottage mit einem wunderschönen Garten. Der Gastgeber hat sehr schnell auf Fragen geantwortet und viele hilfreiche Empfehlungen gegeben. Toller kleiner Dorfladen um die Ecke. Sehr zu empfehlen das Eis, haben noch nie so leckeres Eis gegessen

Wunderbares kleines Cottage

Wir haben uns in dem kleinen Häuschen sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten einen wunderbar entspannten Urlaub. Auch wenn das Wetter leider nicht ganz so schön war, konnten wir viel unternehmen und haben uns auch immer gefreut wieder in unser Häuschen zu kommen. Die Fußbodenheizung ist ein Traum und Abends noch ein bißchen den Kamin anschüren, war herrlich gemütlich. Das Haus war sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man so braucht. Gleich nebendran gibt es den Crackingtin Village Shop mit superfreundlichen Mitarbeitern und einer sehr guten Auswahl an Lebensmitteln usw. Wir würden wieder dieses Cottage buchen, wenn wir mal wieder nach Cornwall kommen.

Comfortable place in lovely location

We had a comfortable stay in this atmospheric and lovely cottage. The heated floors were wonderful after some chilly sea swims and the back garden was a lovely place to sit. The exotic birds next door added to the atmosphere and were charming, never intrusive or up too early :) There's a great little shop 2 minutes' walk away with basics. The beach at Crackington Haven was just stunning and the Coombe Barton inn a great place to have a drink or dinner overlooking the water. There are lovely beaches all around the area within 10 minutes' drive, so the cottage is well situated. Very happy with our stay.

Excelent area of Cornwal

We have been fee years ago To Șt ives and penzance But this year we picked north Cornwall in Bude , Crackington haven ! We had a great and visit amazing places like Padstow , port Isaac , Newquay, Boscastle, and lots of bay or waterfalls in st Nectan’s Glen in Titangel , Titangel castle too. Amazing bays and valleys or hills and the amazing ocean plus villages . People who lives they’re lives there are so lucky !

Delightful cottage - great location

Communication with Tim (the host) was very good from booking through to the holiday itself. Information about the property and the area was clear , accurate and helpful. We tried some of Tim’s suggestions but couldnt do all (due to lack of time). Cottage was a good size , cosy and generally as per description. Garden was lovely with views over fields to the sea.Parking beside the property was helpful as properties dont always offer that in the area. The cove is quieter than some but still has ample parking, 2 cafes , a pub, shop and toilets. Cider farm nearby. Walks from the door. Generally a great experience and a brilliant place to stay and we’ll look to return.

The property was good, the birds & dogs next door were noisy on the Sat we got there, but it did settle down. The shower tap needs attention as it leaks. We enjoyed our stay very comfortable and good access for places to visit.

Cracking Crackington Haven

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It's location was ideal for coastal walking, and we really enjoyed the tranquil nature of the garden. Everything was as expected given the description, and the neighbours were extremely helpful (as were the various detailed instructions given by the host for walks to the beach (and beyond). Whilst Padstow, Bostcastle and Bude were exceptionally busy, Crackington Haven was a peaceful joy!!

Naturally I am biased but I do believe the bay at Crackington is one of the most beautiful on the Cornish coast and an absolute delight for children. The cottage is gorgeous and in a great location for exploring all of Cornwall. Rain or shine, we always leave feeling refreshed and rested.
