We have used this property twice as a base while walking the South West Coast Pathway It is a great location and a comfortable place to rest up after a days walking

Gorgeous old cottage in the heart of Stratton, 30 seconds to the local shop, 5 mins to Bude. The church bells in the background were so atmospheric, as well as the curved walls of the cottage. Everything you could need for a peaceful and cosy holiday.

We have recently returned from a short break at Upper Ring O Bells in Stratton & it was a delightful property & find. Ben’s communication from the moment of enquiry was extremely helpful & thorough with clear directions provided from our home address, recommendations of places to eat so we could book in advance & clear access instructions. The property itself was deceptively spacious, with the master bedroom & bathroom being huge and it was well decorated, cared for, clean and had comfortable beds. There was ample room for a family of 4 a Grandmother. The kitchen was extremely well appointed with everything we could possibly require & some basic store cupboard supplies. The house provided a perfect base for day trips to Bude, Widemouth Bay & Boscastle, all fantastic! We also made use of the local pub, a short stroll from the property with very friendly locals. The church bells which chime every 15 mins were a little surprising, but we quickly adjusted to these and they didn’t disturb us too much after the first night. By the time we left we found it all rather enchanting. Thank-you Ben, I’m sure we’ll be back for another stay.

Absolutely fantastic communication from Ben from start to finish. The property was really easy to find, easy to access and was surprisingly spacious; far exceeding our expectations. I know the town well and had booked the house as 'a bed for the night' whilst visiting family who live locally. However, the house was so lovely, spacious and comfortable, we spent a lot of time in it and found ourselves cooking rather than going out. The house was clean, well prepared and had really thoughtful extras like games, books, crabbing net and bucket, extra laundry airers etc. There were dishwasher tablets, laundry tabs, bin bags and salt/oil/coffee, spice rack etc already in the kitchen cupboard, meaning we could avoid a big shop on the first night! The beds were comfortable and well made with plenty of cupboard space in every room. There were plenty of towels and the bathroom was very big with a great shower and a really handy additional sink and hanging area for wetsuits. There was an an additional outside toilet at the back door. We had 2 cars and had no problem finding parking, although at first glance this looks scarce as the streets are narrow. There is a car park at the bottom of the street that is 2 all day, but we found parking on the street every day. There is a local store and 2 pubs on the doorstep, the area is silent apart from church bells every 15 mins...which you actually get used to sleeping through... and Bude town centre is a 5 minute drive away.

Die Wohnung lag in einem ruhigen Viertel. Ausflüge nach Bude waren mit dem Auto und zu Fuß erreichbar. Wohnung war groß und sehr sauber
