Great views, spacious with plenty of room for a group of 6 or less. Quick access to the beach. Nice quiet part of Tybee Island, but just a short drive or walk to busier parts of the island.

Wonderful rental steps from the beach. Our section of the beach felt very private, which was remarkable during the first week of July. You won’t regret renting this place.

The location of this property could not be more perfect! The condo itself was as described, very spacious and homey. The hot tub, we were so looking forward to, but turned out to be more of a nuisance than anything. It looks pretty old and probably needs to be replaced, the temp wouldnt come up at first (there are no instructions there on how to operate) so we had to have someone come by to fix it. After that it would heat up fine but was incredibly loud and you werent really able to hear the ocean from the balcony while it was running. There are a very minimal number of bath towels and no beach towels provided so we were washing towels constantly. We flew in so not really able to bring our own beach towels. In doing our first load of laundry we discovered that the dryer vent was not plugged in to the back of they dryer, I text the number about this but got no response. In past rentals there were some beach toys for us to utilize but we found none here. We did end up buying a football and one bucket and shovel so I really hope that the cleaning crew left those for the next family. Overall Tybee Island was wonderful and this condo was a great home for us for a week.

Tybee Sunrise

Great unit, the 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms were perfect for our size family. The kitchen was very spacious, as was the dining and living areas; space for everyone to gather for meals and relaxing comfortably in the living area. The jacuzzi was broken, and it would have been nice to have a few beach chairs available for use. The walkway to the beach had many split and raised boards which were tripped over by everyone and our 3 year old granddaughter caught her flip flops on one of the raised boards and fell. We were also disappointed that there was no pool. I felt that what we paid in rental costs should have provided enough packets of coffee and machine dishwasher soap for each of the days of our stay. This was remedied by the management office for our third night. So for guests who are staying for a week or more, be prepared to go to the store and purchase a sufficient amount for your stay.

Fall beach trip

Very nice to have 3 full bathrooms. Hot tub on balcony was great. Kitchen table finish was very tacky and sticky and could not be cleaned off. Great location with private boardwalk to beach.

Great Location

My family absolutely love the location and the view of the ocean. The property had all the amenities that we needed and was bery clean. The property manager was easy to contact when needed and went above and beyond for us. I will definitely be staying here again.

Great long weekend

This was our first visit to Tybee. It was an amazing location and the condo was perfect for our family! The adults enjoyed morning coffee on the deck watching the dolphins and the kids loved how private the beach was! The condo was very clean and welcoming. It had everything that my family needed! We would highly recommend this property!

Great Location for a Fun Girl's Trip!

We had a great stay for our best girlfriend's 60th birthday. The place had plenty of rooms and had a great view of the ocean when we sat outside or chose to lounge in the hot tub. We were close by to downtown to hang out for a Sunday Funday and the locals were super nice. The one thing that needs to be mentioned is that there isn't a trolley to transport your items to the room. There is an elevator but it would have been nice to have a trolley instead of multiple trips. Overall, it was a great stay and we would definitely come back to this condo to stay.

Beautiful view

Overall great place. The master shower drain needs to be cleared. After a 5 minute shower it fills up with water. The view is absolutely stunning.

Nice place to stay but has notes everywhere stating you will be charged for anything that goes wrong

Upon arrival the place was very nice and clean. However, we found the pull out couch had dirty sheets that had not been changed out. We also had a problem with master bedroom tub not draining properly. There was still water in the tub the next day that had not drained out. Our first full day of staying the air completely stopped working. We found a note on the thermostat that stated it would be $125 to fix the air if it were to need serviced. This made the stay very uncomfortable and miserable and we did not want to be charged for air that clearly did not work properly in the first place.

Fishing Tournament

Ridiculous! I signed up for this condo with no awareness that there was a fishing tournament for the weekend! The only days that we stayed in the condo there were fishermen all over the beach. We were unable to swim in the ocean right outside of the condo due to the hooks that could gouge into our skin and seriously hurt us. I truly believe that we should have a discounted rate especially since the listing was a misrepresentation! The nightly rate did not include an exorbitant cleaning fee that was added to the total after you booked the condo. Very disappointing!

Tybee Island Relaxation and Decompress

Our recent stay at Tybee Sunrise was truly amazing and so relaxing. We booked this to spend time with dear friends who were visiting after their oldest was married on Saturday. Check-in on Sunday was smooth, easy, and as communicated to us. We unloaded into the space - which felt fresh and calming - and headed out to a local spot for dinner. Afterwards, we took advantage of the hot tub which gave us a feeling that we were at a spa as we sat and listened to the ocean and watched the moon over the waves. The rooms were large and spacious and the beds comfortable and fresh. The location is superb and we loved waking up to watch the sunrise over the Atlantic and we were delighted to get to see the dolphins swim along the shore while sipping coffee and sitting at the outside table or chairs. We didn't really watch tv together but we were glad for the smart tv where we could stream our music while we put together a puzzle, which was a little bit of a struggle as the lighting is better suited to moods and not as bright for that task. But overall the condo was great. We walked so many places and even biked - we highly recommend that form of transport as it lends itself well to the laid back island feel. Our only issues were the master bath layout - the toilet was tucked so close to the shower that knees touch the glass. There are some minor cosmetic rust issues along the bottom of the wall in the master bath that our eyes always went to when we were in there which distracted from the ambience. The shower pressure was good but the shower heads could have been updated and it would have felt more resort-like. The coffee maker is ancient and felt like a cast-off from a yard sale. Then you start to wonder about the rest of the appliances which suddenly feel dated and it brings down the vibe of the fresh overall feeling. Just improving some small things would help the overall feeling of the place. There also wasn't a book with tips, tricks, local loves, recommendations, etc. that we have come to enjoy having as part of our vrbo stays. Trust me these flaws are minor and yes, very nit-picky, as the artwork, color scheme, couches, beds, and the rest are well put together, and Tybee Sunrise does have an incredible ambiance of rest and beach relaxation charm. We truly loved our stay and this place has all the elements needed for a truly relaxing and restful getaway. Decompress and do nothing while just enjoying the atmosphere of Tybee Island.

Great girls weekend getaway

It's a wonderful location with amazing beach views. We were able to walk to many restaurants. The sunrises from the balcony were beautiful. The hot tub was a nice touch for a surprising cool April. Just to note: the kitchen did not have any spices or oil or any condiments so renters should bring their own.

Good stay

Great stay! Great beach view, even if the waves are barely audible. Loved the hot tub on the balcony! However, dishwasher and clothes dryer could use replacement. Dishwasher routinely took two washes and dryer required at least 2 hours of continuous dry time despite a clean lint trap and a small load of clothes, in 40 degree January weather. Also, nursing home across the street had folks in hazmat suits and a hearse visit while we were there which was a little disconcerting.
