Extremely stylish, private and spaciously 11 cone 200 Year old Trullo. Fully Air-conditioned, WiFi as good as you can get in the area, Completely restored by its Irish owners, with local stone masons in traditional stone method's roofs and walls up to 3ft6 thick, no expense spared, you will find it hard to find another trulli to this standard and this number of cone roofs.

Oasis of tranquility surrounded by Mediterranean grounds, 6 acres of olive groves to explore. The land is dotted with plum, pear, apple, lemon, cherry, almond and fig trees which fruit at different seasons.
there are some old stables we dont use. Local towns are 'very' Italian, Good markets and good shopping, local food and restaurants are great, manageress will meet and greet and look after your needs. Lovely place huge pool great location, it’s a shame we were charged extra for electric as it was on our mind all week it cost us an extra 80 considering the villa was expensive that only 1 bedroom used aircon we only heated pool for 5 days the jacuzzi was only on for a day and half as not working, would be better if electric was included. Apart from that we would go back

I was dissapointed with this 4 star review, As normally we receive 5 stars, we did advise in advance that pool heating is extra at 20 euro per day, and you were only asked to pay 70 euro at the end of your 10 day stay , which has been refunded since as a jesture of goodwill. It is also a bit strange that you gave a 4 star review , but also said you would like to come back. We have taken your comments on board, and going forward we will change our system for guests who opt to use pool heating , which is a very rare option to have in a villa rental in this part of italy Best regards

Great holidays

The trullo is wonderful, well positionned in Puglia to visit and calm. It provides everything you need to spend nice and fun time. Swimming pool and gardien are geogeous and trullo is very well equipped. Communication with Richard and Valérie was easy and reactive.

Amazing Trullo

Richard is the best host, great communication and gave us lots of useful information ahead of the stay. The Trullo is really amazing, a true home from home with all the amenities one needs and more. It is a beautiful property the photos cannot do it justice. The location is quiet and yet within driving distance to lots of interesting places. My kids loved the welcome pack and really enjoyed the heated swimming pool. Would love to return again in the future.

Amazing Trulli in the quietest of areas

Overall a wonderful property with masses of space and everything you could want, even and air source heat pump to take the chill off the pool in the cooler months. The Trulli is beautiful and in a super peaceful location, all this plus within an hour of loads of historical Italian sites and great local restaurants it was amazing.

Gorgeous historic property well located for day tripping

Richard is a lovely communicative host. We knew the area already but the place felt like a home from home due to Richard and the wonderful caretaker on hand. We had a mishap with our car and they were very helpful. Also accommodating of our 2 year old and 6 month old boys needs. Stunning pool (note that heating is on request though).

Beautiful Trullo, Helpful Host

This is an amazing and comfortable property. The trullo home is beautiful, clean, well-stocked, and secure. It is almost retreat-like. The grounds are lovely, including the olive orchard and other flowering trees and plants. It was unseasonably cool and rainy, and we did not have the opportunity to enjoy the pool and hot tub. The hosts were wonderfully responsive, and issues that came up (nothing big) were addressed quickly and effectively. The restaurants suggested are top notch, as were other recommendations. Some neighbors were delightful, we enjoyed them very much. It is in a rural orchard/farm area and a few aspects reflect that (need to rent a vehicle; no garbage collection, remote drop off in the evenings/nights; a few territorial dogs in the neighborhood). We had a terrific stay and are grateful for it. We recommend this beautiful and special property for your Puglia vacation.

Amazing Trullo

Super place with swimming pool, hot tub, bbq etc. Arrived to lots of food in fridge and a few extras which was really welcomed after travel with kids. Everyone enjoyed themselves so much that we didn’t want to leave. Kids pool integrated into main pool which was super for young kids - didn't worry about them falling into a deep pool. House close to lots of interesting and historical towns and beaches. Relaxing environment. Very helpful and responsive owner and property manager. Car essential. Would return for sure.

Beautiful but beware

We stayed in this beautiful Trulli from May 6-12, 2023. The owner was very responsive and provided lots of details prior to our stay on the local area, restaurants, sight seeing, etc. The property manager was also very easy to communicate with and was in touch with us via WhatsApp to arrange meeting us at the house for check in and check out. The property itself is stunning and exactly as advertised - lots of flowers and fruit trees. etc. We enjoyed eating alfresco under the ancient olive tree. The one issue that we had, that unfortunately left us very disappointed is around the electricity and the pool. Firstly - the owner will ask for a security deposit that is not identified in the listing and will tell you that the listing only includes 75Euro towards electricity for a week. We were surprised but felt that this should be sufficient for our group of 4 adults. They will take meter readings on arrival and departure and calculate your use. At the end of the week we were told that we had exceeded the electricity by over 200Euro. Needless to say we were shocked and very upset. We didn't leave lights on, didn't run the pool heater or hot tub, and only spent time in the Trulli in the evenings where we sat in the kitchen playing cards - no TV, computers, or anything else that would account for the electricity being so high. We later received an apology from the property manager indicating that she had miscalculated and we didn't owe any extra. I understand that mistakes happen, but feel that when we questioned the charge she should have rechecked the numbers rather than accusing us of misusing the electricity. In hand with the electricity, and something we have never experienced before - we were shown how to turn on the hot water heater and told that we should turn it on only when we need to shower - and that it takes an hour for the water to heat up. At over $500 a night I don't feel it is unreasonable to expect to have hot water on demand. Final issue is the pool. This property is marketed as having a HEATED pool, which is the main reason we chose it over others in the area. With the electricity limitations running the pool heater would have cost us a considerable amount. When we argued that the owner did agree to waive the fee. Unfortunately the guests before us had not reported that the pump wasn't working, and did not have the heater on so it would have taken 3-4 days to heat the pool before we could use it.

Beautiful, spacious trullo. Good location between the beautiful towns of Ceglie Messapica & Ostuni. Very rural, peaceful location. Well equipped kitchen, fantastic BBQ. Very helpful property manager and owner, who answered my myriad of questions very promptly. Fantastic infinity pool which was a little cool in late May but I understand the owner is planning on installing a pool heater. Beautiful location amongst olive groves with a pretty garden stocked with fruit trees. 35 minutes from Brindisi airport, an easy drive.

Traumhafte und erholsame 3 Wochen

Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern für 3Wochen in dem traumhaften Trullo. Hier hat es an nichts gefehlt, sogar Wasser, Wein, Nudel, Milch und Kaffee waren vor Ort. Sogar Nudel und Kaffee. Da durch, dass das Haus außerhalb liegt ist es sehr ruhig. Man kann sich super erholen. Das Trullo ist super gelegen, man kann von hier sehr viel und schnell bereisen. In Ostuni ist man z.b. in 10 min. Die Betreuung von Marina und Oronzo ist einfach traumhaft, vielen Dank Euch beiden.

Il trullo è immerso in una campagna meravigliosa, comunque vicina ai paesini più belli della valle d’Itria e la piscina ad uso esclusivo ci fatto dimenticare il mare.. comunque a pochi kilometri.. esperienza bellissima. L’accoglienza di Marina e Oronzo è stata perfetta, il trullo era pulito, sanificato ed anche durante la vacanza sono stati presenti per tutti i controlli ed ulteriori nostre esigenze. Come una fiaba

Posto incantevole, un trullo con 12 coni con una splendida piscina circondato da un terreno con ulivi secolari, mandorli, fichi etc. La piscina è grande e adatta sia ad adulti che a bambini, avendo un'altezza che digrada dolcemente; tutti gli spazi interni sono ben curati e pulitissimi, le camere ed i bagni bellissimi e curati, a livello di accessori per la cucina si trova davvero tutto! Gli spazi esterni sono incantevoli, ogni angolo esterno offre qualcosa di diverso da vivere ed assaporare; diversi tavoli esterni a disposizione per scegliere dove mangiare, leggere, conversare. Alla sera l'illuminazione rende il luogo davvero fiabesco, grazie all'illuminazione del trullo, della piscina, dell'ulivo e degli ambianti esterni. Unico problema...non saremmo mai usciti da lì, pur essendoci tantissimi posti incantevoli nelle vicinanze! Ottima l'assistenza del proprietario Richard prima, durante e dopo il soggiorno, sempre pronto a chiarire ogni dubbio e fornire dettagli di ogni tipo! Infine grazie a Marina e Oronzo per la professionalità e gentilezza, l'assistenza al check in, precisa e cortese, sempre disponibili per qualsiasi esigenza o semplice dubbio o domanda!

Great Trulli property in a rural location close to shops and towns of interest.

Ideal property to get away from it all. Regional Trulli architecture very nice, pool brilliant and surrounding olive ground spacious. Plenty of Italian food available from local shops or restaurants. Location near coast and towns of interest. Overall relaxing time spent in Apulia.
