The house was great and very comfortable. The pictures are very accurate and we had everything we needed for our 10 night stay for a group of 8 people. Great location if you rent a car. Sarah our host was very accommodating with all of our needs. We would gladly stay here again.

Great location. Fantastic views

This chalet exceeded expectations! Tons of parking for our cars on a private driveway, very spacious rooms by modern standards, and the best breathtaking view of the mountains and slopes that we ever had when staying in Morzine. There is sun and warmth on the balconies in the evening, when the other side of town is in the shade, and there is a very easy walk down into the centre of town, or a choice of two free buses, one of which passes the chalet door. The chalet itself was clean and well equipped, and now that we have found it, we will be back !!

Spacious chalet, well situated for Morzine & Avoriaz

Incredibly spacious chalet, with big rooms and lots of storage space (the twin room downstairs was the only room that wasn't generously sized). Well fitted out, with all the kitchen pots and pans you could need, and thoughtful touches, like plug adaptors. We didn't use the ski bus, but it was a quick drive into Morzine, and an easy drive up to the Avoriaz area, so lots of choice for skiing.

Great mountain bike house

We had a great holiday with two families and teenagers. It’s located just out of Morzine but it’s a relatively easy walk to the centre. We used a large garage to store our bikes and were able to take the road into town to get the lift up each morning. The house has a great view across the valley and waa extremely well equipped for the eight people in our party.

Great stay in Morzine over NY23, only ruined by excessive cleaning charge!

We had a good stay in Morzine over New Year, good communication with host before arrival, chalet was nice but a bit far away from the town and the lifts, needed to drive to both. A car is therefore essential, busses did not seem very frequent and were very busy. Chalet is up the hill from the town so walking also not a great option. BUT, stay was rather spoiled by an excessive cleaning charge following departure. We left the property clean and tidy as requested, emptied bins, wiped down kitchen etc. Only issue was a couple of spots on the carpet from a nose bleed one of the kids had (everything else was spotless). The host asked what it might be and we openly explained, only to be charged £140 for cleaning. This could have easily been resolved with a bit of carpet cleaner and a cloth, but since the host runs the property remotely they passed on additional charges for accessing the property and supervising etc. Completely unnecessary - how they manage the property should not be the guest's concern and costs should not be passed through! We attempted to discuss the cost with the host and come to a more reasonable amount but to no avail. Be warned.

Au top mais loin du centre

Le chalet est vraiment ideal pour des sejours en famille. Il est grand et permet d avoir de l'espace tout en etant en communauté. Le bemol pour nous etait l'eloignement du centre de morzine. Pour descendre en.ville, il.n y a meme pas de trottoir et le traffic est soutenu. Ct vraiment le point negatif du chalet.

Nous sommes déçus que vous ne nous donniez que quatre étoiles car la route n'a pas de trottoirs !! Vous saviez que le chalet se trouve à dix à quinze minutes à pied du centre-ville avant de réserver, mais vous ne mentionnez pas qu'il existe un service de bus gratuit avec un arrêt à seulement 50 mètres du chalet. Nous comprenons qu'avoir un bébé rend les choses plus difficiles, mais le fait que nous vous fournissions un lit bébé et une chaise haute mériterait sûrement cette cinquième étoile ?

Brilliant week!

Absolutely loved our stay in this property. The photos don't do it justice - the view from the living room balcony was spectacular and the bedrooms were spacious with comfy beds - perfect after a hard day skiing. The host's communication was brilliant and they were very accomodating. We would definitely come back!

Comfortable chalet with great view

We very much enjoyed our stay here. It is about 15 mins uphill walk from the centre of Morzine, however (in summer at least) it was no problem to drive into Morzine and we appreciated the quiet location and the spectacular view from the living area and balcony. All the bedding and furnishing was of a good standard and everything was clean. We only needed to use the bedrooms on the top two floors, the two bedrooms on the ground floor are probably not quite as nice (although still fine) and it's worth noting one is accessed via the other so are best suited to a family. The ground floor also had a useful laundry room and reception area with ski boot warmer. We cooked most days and found the kitchen had all the pans and utensils we needed, although a small welcome pack with milk etc would have been appreciated as we arrived after the shops had closed. Morzine looked well supplied with shops and restaurants which in non-COVID times we would have spent more time checking out. Even so the area still has much to recommend it in summer, we found numerous well signposted hikes within 30-40 minutes drive and also enjoyed Morzine's outdoor pool and the water sports at nearby Lake Montriond, plus excursions further afield to Annecy and Lake Geneva.

We hebben hier een week met 10 personen geleefde. Het is een heerlijk ruim huis met een mooi balkon. Grote woonkamer en eettafel en fijne slaapkamers. Alleen de WiFi was slecht.

Welcome to Chalet Jacinthe des Bois, our chalet in Morzine. As a professional couple, and having ski-ed and snowboarded in many locations around the world, we felt that Morzine offered the perfect base in the centre of the vast Portes du Soleil ski area, but with the charm, character and amenities of an old French town. With a young family to consider, we needed a convenient location that was easy to get to, that offered all year round activity for all the family, over and above a superb ski season in one of the best ski areas in the world. This is our second home.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

The Portes du Soleil is the largest interconnected ski area in the world. Morzine is an old town with a charm and character which is rare in ski resorts, and the town sits central to this vast area. Geneva airport is only an hours drive away, but Lyon, Grenoble and Chambery airports provide access to this area too. The quality and variety of the restaurants, in addition to the range of shops, and the family friendly atmosphere make this a superb place to be. Morzine provides ski-ing and snowboarding in the winter, but is also a superb place to be in the summer. Mountain biking, golf, tennis, a superb set of outdoor pools, paragliding, skateboarding, walking, the list goes on!! We knew that we could come back to this town every year, and still find new places to ski and things to do.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

This chalet was built by its previous owner to exacting specifications. Room sizes are much larger than average, there are three balconies and a terrace. Our chalet sits on the sunny side of the valley, so that the sun warms the balconies and terrace into the evening. The free ski bus service is less than a 1 minute walk from the chalet. The chalet has a WiFi service for those who need to work or stay connected while on holiday. A table tennis table is also provided just for fun!!
