Stunning holiday home

Perfect holiday home for those who want spectacular sea and coastline views, a beautiful swimming pool with all facilities and the same stunning views, wonderful beaches, breathtaking mountains and national parks, pretty historic town centres, to be spoilt for choice with regards to Italian/Calabrian cuisine and who want all the comforts of their own home. A wonderful holiday home!

Lovely quiet spacious villa

We had a lovely (HOT!) week in Calabria - the air con was bliss at the end of a scorching day. Overall, a very comfortable stay - everything was in order on our arrival. We arrived early and the local agent (Yvonne) was able to accomodate us which was really helpful (with tired children!). We didn't spend alot of time at the villa - spent our days exploring all the beaches/villages along the coast - spoilt for choice. We ate out most days as the restaurants are reasonably priced compared to other areas in Italy - fantastic seafood, pasta, pizza - as you would expect! We hope to return to Calabria next year and explore further south towards Sicily - this whole region is really off the beaten track for tourists (not overdone like Tuscany!) - which we really liked. The owner (April) was also really helpful and very efficient on the communications front.

Spacious villa, gorgeous pool, peaceful location

We enjoyed a really restful two weeks at Casa Aprile. The villa is large, airy and well equipped. There were only three of us staying, but more people could easily and comfortably have been accommodated. The pool is lovely; it's even bigger than the photo suggests. There's plenty of space to sunbathe, but also shady areas. We had some lovely lazy poolside days. There's also plenty to do in the local area. We visited some typically Italian beaches, with lidos, and rented canoes, but there are lots of public beaches too. The old hill towns are worth a visit. We went up to Belvedere for breakfast and enjoyed exploring the maze of old buildings and streets. Generally, the restaurants were very good value and we had some lovely meals at 'Calypso' in Belvedere Marittimo. Booking the villa was straightforward; April was attentive and helpful. We had a great holiday and all want to go back next year!

Wir wurden von der Verwalterin empfangen und kurz in das Haus eingefĂŒhrt.Hier ist uns sofort der vertrocknete Rasen und der Dreck in der Wiese aufgefallen.Beim öffnen der HaustĂŒre konnten wir kaum eintreten da diese nur zur HĂ€lfte aufging. In der KĂŒche auf den Kaputten KĂŒhlschrank aufmerksam gemacht wurden wir, die TĂŒren ( Scharniere ) waren Kaputt und die TiefkĂŒhlfĂ€cher wurde uns gezeigt mit viel Schwung zuschlagen und kontrollieren ob diese zu ist.Ja sie lesen schon richtig..Durch das Wohnzimmer geht ein auf der ganzen LĂ€nge durchgezogener Riss in der Wand. Wir öffneten das „gerade Frisch gereinigte“ Haus und waren auf der Terrasse.Mit tollem Blick auf das Meer und genauso toller Blick auf völlig verdreckte StĂŒhle und den Glastisch (man konnte nicht mal auf den Boden schauen vor Dreck )An diesem Punkt wollte ich abbrechen und das Geld verlangen.Die Dame jedoch vertröstet mich das sie sich darum kĂŒmmern möchte um das zu regeln mit der Sauberkeit. Die Zimmer Oben waren soweit Sauber das Bad auch.Die Terrasse oben mit einem Herrlichen Blick auf die KĂŒste .Und auf die anderen gepflegt GĂ€rten in einem Satten GrĂŒn. Der Pool,meine Herren das mĂŒssten sie in echt sehen.Dreck wo das Auge reicht,Im Wasser auf dem Boden war dermassen viel davon und das in Corona Zeiten. ach ja ein Spender mit Desinfektion total Schwarz vor Dreck war auch da. Ich denke ich ZĂ€hle die MĂ€ngel auf : Ungepflegter Garten, Dreck ihm Garten ( Eimer , Rohre die aus der Erde lagen, TĂŒten etc) Fassade ziemlich gebröckelt und im Vergleich zu den anderen Anlagen verblasst und eben ungepflegt. Kaffeemaschine war Kaputt und wurde nach drei Tagen durch eine Kapselmaschine ersetzt . Die BettwĂ€sche hat so arg gerochen das wir diese am zweiten Tag gewaschen haben. Risse in dem Wohnzimmer. Pool völlig verdreckt und Kaputte Liegen. MĂŒll Haus fĂŒr ca 20 HĂ€user , jeder wirft die TĂŒten ĂŒber einen Zaun da es aussieht wie auf einer MĂŒllkippe. TĂŒrrahmen hingen aus der Verankerung,Regale in der KĂŒche hĂ€ngen aus der Verankerung etc. Wir hatten Kontakt zur Besitzerin in UK. Sie sagte uns Paar Tage vor der fahrt es mĂŒssen noch paar Sachen renoviert werden. Gute Dame da muss alles Renoviert werden.Bis zum Abreisetag haben wir versucht Geld zurĂŒck zu bekommen aber sie hat dies nicht getan. Nun sagt sie wir wĂŒrden ihr drohen um 50% zu bekommen und keine Bewertung dafĂŒr reingeben.Hier ist die Bewertung unabhĂ€ngig von Nachforderungen.Wir hatten jedoch trotzdem einen Tollen Urlaub wir waren am Strand

Bello , bello, bello.

Difficile enumerare tutte le qualitĂ  di questa casa: in breve confermo l'esattezza dell'annuncio , incluso tutti gli accessori, ma va detto che dal vivo la bellezza della posizione e la comoditĂ  della bellissima piscina (se un giorno non si vuole prendere la macchina per andare in spiaggia), oltre alla spaziositĂ  della casa, si possono solo intravedere, ma sono spettacolari. Un suggerimento: dopo aver girato moltissimo mi sono accorto che le spiagge e le calette piu' caratteristiche sono proprio quelle sotto casa a Cittadella del Capo.

Pobyt w Casa Rosa byƂ bardzo udany. Willa znajduje się w bardzo Ƃadnym i spokojnym miejscu, z dala od miasteczek gdzie jest peƂno turystĂłw. Dom jest wyposaĆŒony we wszystkie niezbędne akcesoria, w pobliĆŒu znajduje się Ƃadny basen. W takim miejscu moĆŒna naprawdę wypocząć. Polecam!

Traumhafte Aussicht, tolles Haus

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Bonifati! Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin und zur Agentin verlief super. Das Haus ist ein Traum! Die Ausstattung ist super. Klimaanlage, SpĂŒlmaschine, Waschmaschine usw. Super bei 6 Personen. Alles war sehr sauber und es gab genĂŒgend HandtĂŒcher fĂŒr alle. Der Pool war das Highlight. Besonders unsere großen Kinder waren begeistert von dem großen Pool und der Ruhe,die man da hat. Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden und können uns auch vorstellen nochmal nach Bonifati zu kommen.

Ein Traumurlaub in einem wunderschönen Haus ...ohne weit zu fliegen

wir waren mit 6 Personen in diesem wunderschönen Haus, mit ĂŒber 150 qm NutzflĂ€che, Opa-Oma-Mama-Papa und 2 Kindern (4+6)...es war alles da, was man benötigt, und sogar eine einwandfrei funktionierende Waschmaschine + super KĂŒche...die Raumaufteilung ist hervorragend, mit 2 BĂ€dern....Klasse Dachterrasse...und auch Gartenterrasse 
.StrĂ€nde sind super, und man kann viel unternehmen ..Kalabrien ist ein supertolles Land...

One of the best vacations we ever had

This was one of our best Holidays we ever had. The Villa was lovely. So beautiful. For us it was the perfect place to relax and forget about the rest of the world. The Villa is very beautiful from inside and from outside. We loved the big balcony and verenda from which we had a spectacular view over the sea and the cost. From inside the Villa is also beautiful, functional and has everything you Need for living. We loved it and we stayed one week extra. The contact to the owner April and Yvonne (who lives in Italy) was so Kind and friendly. I have not often meet such open and polite peopel, who spend so much work to fullfill everything i want and wish for. I hope to stay in contact with them to come back to the Villa for sure!! The pool was less than 1 minute away from our Villa and also sooo beautiful with seaview. My son loved it. Ist quiet big and sometimes we had it for our own because not many peopel used it. It was the hole time very clean and all the time secured by a very friendly liefguard. The Region calabria is very beautiful. The locals are very open and friendly. They helped us a lot especially with finding good Restaurants and Shops ;D The beaches are very nice. There is one beach to the next and from the Villa you Need maybe 10 minutes by car. You can decide which Kind of beaches you like from sandy beaches to Stone beaches. We loved it and spend a lot of time there. For daily life you can find everything in the Close City "Belvedere": Supermarket, Restaurants, Shops, whatever you Need or want. We loved this Holidays and wish to come back soo soon. Lovely views and pool. Recommended

We had a relaxing week in Casa Rossa, April was most helpful and easy to communicate with prior to commencing our holiday. When we arrived, it's a little difficult to find, but, Yvonne was on hand to assist and the welcome pack meant a well stocked fridge. The villa is large with high ceilings. The views from the villa are spectacular and the weather was mixed during our stay, but always hot (the A/C was very welcome at night). The pool was large and very clean. The pool attendant was in attendance throughout the mornings of our stay and was very entertaining. Great fun. There are several very nice beaches locally, just a short drive from the villa. Good local facilities, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and quaint Italian villages in the hills.

Lovely week in this airy well located villa

We had a great week in Casa Rossa, April and Scott could not have been more helpful before we arrived and everything was as we'd expected. The villa is spacious with nice high ceilings giving an airy feel and there was plenty of room for our family of six. The views from the balcony along the coast were spectacular and it was baking hot throughout our stay apart from during one very dramatic storm. The shared pool was large and never busy (it turned green one day but that was quickly sorted). We found lots of lovely beaches within a short - and some great restaurants, especially along the coast to the north and up in the hills behind the house. Recommended.

Very nice villa with beautiful views

We had a lovely stay, in this wonderful big house. The view and surrounding area is beautiful, and there are several good beaches close by, which are easy to access by car. We were greeted with a very nice welcome basket containing lots of great food, so we had a lovely dinner our first night. For the rest of the trip a nearby Lidl was very handy. We were seven persons staying in the villa two of us were small children so it was fantastic to come home every afternoon for a swim in the pool and then make dinner that we had on the terass with a beautiful view over the sea. April (owner) and Yvonne (our contact in Italy) helped us a lot with all our questions and we felt very welcome.

A wonderful, relaxing stay in a lovely home

It was a pleasure dealing with April in the lead up to our holiday. She was very helpful and ensured that we had all the information we needed. We'd never visited this region before, so we were more than pleasantly surprised by the villa and its location. We thought the villa was lovely and represented very good value for money. It's homely rather than 'swanky', but if you have children, it's a perfect place to relax and unwind. Most important of all, it was clean and spacious - and provided everything we needed. Yvonne, who greeted us, was very helpful, too. We loved the area and plan to visit again in the next few years. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Holiday! Stunning all round.

The service was excellent, the property was immaculate, high quality and beautifully turned out. We thoroughly enjoyed our Stay at Casa Aprilla and will recommend to all. We turned up, dazed and confused at the airport due to the early flight from Stansted to(Lamezia) 4 adults and 4 children (the property can easily cater for 8. The owner has an excellent arrangement with the property manager who met us en-route with a warm smile and then lead the way to the property. We were given a basket full of essentials ! water cheese bread tomatoes Mortadella tea, coffee etc Delicious! this saved us from worrying about finding provisions right away! Brilliant! so after a fabulous recouping afternoon we drove to a near by Gelaterria Pizzarria! Bar, a fantastic start. The Views are Stunning! (no seriously! very difficult to beat anywhere in the world). The property is very well equipped and was cosy on the very few (pre season) slightly chilly nights. We also had very warm weather. Early April in Calabria is a little like good Summer in England as such we were very much at home take sun screen, a warm jumper and a waterproof jacket if you are there at the beginning of April. However it warms up very quickly after that! Everything you need is a short drive away, (everything was open) with excellent restaurants and bars in Cetraro. plus grocers (amazing produce!). The Locals are very friendly & helpful (take a phrase book) Nestled in the hills striding out from this property for a walk is fun and a great adventure, we all loved it, be-friended by a local farmer and his wife and were invited to meet the goats and rabbits. If you have one, take a decent camera! Car is vital, driving in Italy is easy enough, you will keep your wits about you but bear in mind, that although some of the drivers are a little nuts, there are plenty of slow vehicles on the road (so we followed their lead and had no problems driving). The property is very versatile large and airy it was cool when the temperatures rose and very cosy when they dropped, we had some lovely barbq's in the evenings but we also ate out at the nearby restaurants and hotels. The Property is set up for the hot summer and the sun lover to roast on the terrace sipping a Gin and Tonic or to chill in the shade with a pimms and lemonade. If you haven't been to Calabria! try it out it is fantastic the food!!! the scenery and the people are all amazing! Thoroughly recommended. we look forward to the return !

The best holiday ever

Well what can we say. Beautiful well equipped villa with stunning views of the mountains and sea. The welcome pack was 'welcomed' so I could make my first cup of tea in Italy. Fantastic swimming pool with friendly, knowledgeable lifeguard. (No having to get up and put your towels out early here!) Short drive to the most wonderful beaches of Italy, fantastic restaurants nearby. We took my elderly parents so the SIX of us were eating THREE course meals inc alcohol for €90! My parents are Italian and they enjoyed the fresh cuisine especially the fish. Diamante is a must to visit but it was nice to come away from the hustle and bustle. I am already in contact with April regarding 2015 as my children aged 12 and 9 said it was the best holiday ever.

Villa Rossa

We stayed in the villa for 10 days in August. We were very impressed with the villa's facilities, its space, its coolness in hot weather, its wonderful balcony and its tremendous views. We used the pool regularly and that was great. There were 6 of us, all adults and it was easily big enough for all of us. We ate outside in the garden on several occasions and frequently ate in the local restaurants. The food and drinks locally are well priced, we could eat for 10 euros per person including drinks at all of the local pizzerias. The sea is close and most days we swam in the sea. We particularly liked the beach at Diamonte South but, although it is some distance away, the beach at Tropea is one of the finest in the world. Belvedere is a spectacular town and great for a walk round and great coffee. steve
