Maison en bord de mer, idéalement située en bordure du village côtier de Seahouses

Seaside House, idéalement situé à la périphérie de Seahouses, récemment décorée et rénovée, cette propriété décorée avec goût bénéficie d'un emplacement paisible, mais à distance de marche du port, des plages, du club de golf et du village avec ses nombreux pubs, restaurants et boutiques . À Seahouses, vous êtes littéralement entouré de paysages magnifiques et l'embarras du choix pour les choses à faire et les endroits à visiter. Les îles Farne sont accessibles par des excursions régulières en bateau depuis le port. Le magnifique château de Bamburgh et sa belle plage sont à seulement 5 km, et le bourg historique d'Alnwick, avec ses jardins et son château majestueux (utilisés dans de nombreux films dont Harry Potter), n'est qu'à une courte distance en voiture. Le littoral du patrimoine est parsemé de plus de châteaux, de belles plages et de villages de pêcheurs, ainsi que de l'île Sainte.
Les collines Cheviot et le parc national de Northumberland sont également à proximité, ainsi que les villes frontalières de Berwick et Coldstream. Newcastle et Édimbourg sont également facilement accessibles. Seaside House est une propriété idéale pour rester, avec sa flexibilité de couchage, 2 salles de bains à l'étage et un vestiaire en bas. Very enjoyable stay

We enjoy walking and bird watching - this was a brilliant base, comfortable and well equipped property, with helpful neighbours and quick responses from Russell with any queries. An easy walk to shops, boats to Farne Islands as well as the beach.

This was a family holiday to explore some of the history of the area, and we were not disappointed.Seaside house is ideally located for exploring many places, like Bamburgh Castle, Lindisfarne and many more.Also only a short walk into Seahouses. Loved Trotters Bakery, lots of nice things to eat.

This house was ideally located in a quiet area with a short walk to all the local shops, restaurants and pubs. There were also local tracks to the coast and along to the village. Seahouses is also a great location for exploring the Northumbrian coast. Accommodation was comfortable and well eqipped and the owner communicated promptly and was very helpful.

Lovely cottage in a quiet location just a few minutes walk from the sea and the amenities of Seahouses. Everything you needed to self cater was there. Great base to explore the area from, and only a short distance from the fabulous Bamburgh beach and castle.

The house was very well equipped and the bed was comfortable. Nice lounge with plenty of books, CD's and DVD's. Great location a short distance from the sea, shops and pubs. We would stay there again.

Had a great stay at Seaside House in Seahouses. House was lovely and absolutely spotless. Great location, few minutes walk from coast and town. Great places to eat. Brilliant to use for a base to visit all of the beautiful Northumberland coast. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed here over the Christmas week, the property is in an ideal location close to Seahouses centre and easy access at end of the road to the waterfront.There is reserved parking for two cars.The property is well equipped and comfortable and warm.

House was clean, airy and very comfortable. Russell has thought of everything, down to sellotape! Welcome pack best I've had. A short stroll to coastal path, harbour and shops. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great location

Very nice location and lovely quiet estate very convenient to visit the areas around. The house wasn't as clean as we expected but nothing too serious. The one downside was that the main bathroom needs a shower especially if you are renting with older children or parents, but all in all very nice house

So sorry to hear the property didn't live up to your expectation. As for the cleaning, without any details, it is difficult to know what the issue was, but I will bring to attention of cleaning team, who do take pride in cleaning and maintaining the property to a very high standard. We do receive many Thank You cards and repeat bookings, that prove this. As for an extra shower, the property does have a shower cubicle in the ensuite, as well as a hand held shower over the bath in main bathroom. Along with a downstairs w/c, I believe this 2 bedroom property is well equipped on that front. We always take onboard any constructive criticism, but do not believe it is fully justified in this case. You also failed to mention, how we bend over backwards to allow you to park your car in an undesignated parking place. And that, we didn't make an issue of you admittingly damaging a kitchen item.

First time visiting Seahouse and really enjoyed .

This property is fantastic ,very handy to walk into Seahouse itself for shops and restaurants . Beach at bottom of the street . Very quiet situation ,on outskirts of village and great having parking for two cars . Cosy and welcoming house and well equipped for a great stay . Welcome pack a nice touch too . Helps make the holiday when you have a relaxing bolthole to come back to after a busy day out . 5 stars ⭐️ Thanks

Beautiful house by the sea

The photos don't do it justice, this is a lovely spacious spotless cottage with everything you need to have a relaxing holiday. Quiet location within a few minutes walk to the beach and into Seahouses. Russell was so helpful and answered any questions we had promptly. We were welcomed with some very generous welcome gifts! Lovely neighbours too who helped us locate the keybox on arrival. We really fell in love with the place can highly recommend. We certainly hope to be back in the future.

Excellent base for exploring the area

The house was lovely- very clean and well-equipped. Can’t think of anything else we would need! It was an easy stroll to the harbour and the amenities of Seahouses along the coastal path - the sea is literally at the end of the road! A great location for exploring the area - so much to do that we didn’t fit it all in and we were there a week! Good excuse to go back. Communication with Russell was excellent right from the time of booking. He even took the trouble to send some information about birdwatching sites when I mentioned that was an interest of my husband! Thank you so much Russell! We will definitely return!
