Amazing place and location

We booked a very last minute get together and we were struggling to find somewhere to fit us all in then we found Andy’s place. He was highly communicative and we had such a wonderful time staying together whilst celebrating our Dad’s 70th with his brother who lives locally. The place is gorgeous and everything you could need is supplied. Thank you for a great stay!

An amazing property which exceeded our expectations. We could not fault it. Communications between the owners was easy and informative. The property was spotless and so well equipped. We enjoyed our stay so much that by halfway through the week there we had secured our booking for next year. I would highly recommend this property. Gold star rating all round.

Thank you Andy & Loudres- the house was AMAZING!!We booked a week and wished we'd booked for longer once we arrived. From the very first message to book to the day of leaving the communication from Andy & Lourdes was excellent, nothing at all was too much trouble. the house had everything you could possible want / need and more! The welcome food & drinks was amazing too, very thoughtful for the adults & children, it was much appreciated after an early start.The pool and outside space was excellent, we spent most of our time around the pool using the bar & bbq and outside toilet with 4 children was great, no wet feet inside.The location was great, just a short walk and we were at the beach & many bars and restaurants. We were recommended a few by Andy & Lourdes and as like the house they were spot on -we had some lovely meals out.We would love to return and would not hesitate to book this house again.Thanks again Lisa, Paul, Tori, Liam & Rugrats :)

A perfect house for vacation

The house was perfect for us 3 families with 5 "kids" between 15-19 The house was much better than we thought. We really liked the rooms and beds with barhrooms to each room. The terrass with the very nice view. The poolarea with a nice pool and good space for sunbathing. The nearby beaches and restaurants was perfect for us all And we really liked the nice walk along all the beaches. Andy and Lourdes was also the perfect hosts. Great 180th birthdays in Mojacar

The property was absolutely great and gave us everything we needed to celebrate as a family two 70th’s and a 40th this year. The whole villa was well organised and the hosts made sure we had everything we needed and more, even recommending some restaurants and booking some for us making life very easy. There was plenty for everyone to do even down to children’s toys, table tennis, and pool games. Great value for money and would have no problem recommending the villa. The hosts would definitely be super super hosts if you were to grade them.

Excellent. Exceeded expectation.

We were a family group of 10 and have holidayed in Mojacar for many years. This villa was superb. Exactly as described. Close enough to walk to the beach, bars and buses, (much easier than using a car to go to the old town and Garrucha ) yet sufficiently private if you stay by the pool. The villa is fully equipped with enough space to provide quiet areas for those who wanted. The host was excellent and available to answer any questions. We did not want our stay to end and will definitely be back. Superb.

Splendid!

For the past 25 years we have stayed in privately owned villas along the Almerian coastline. Arruzafa is by far the best we have stayed in. It is superb in every way. The pool is set in a beautiful flower garden with sunshade from tall palm trees. The villa is fully equipped with everything you could need for a home from home holiday. Once there you simply don't want to leave. We have nothing at all negaive to say about Arruzafa, it is a splendid villa with wonderful owners, who were on hand if needed throughout our stay. We collectively vote this our most relaxing holiday and favourite villa. See you next year Andy and Lourdes - thank you for a wonderful family break

Fantasmagorrical

There is plenty of internal space but we didn't use it, we were outside all the time. The weather was fantastic, which meant the pool was in constant use, thank you Mr pool for being wet and cool. The beach is very close and we did have some forrays down to the sea, but we just wanted to be together, chat, eat, chat, swim, eat, swim, chat.... We cooked every day, my 13 year old grandson bbq'd three times, he's an excellent cook, not so good at clearing up! I shopped and ferried every one around, not a problem being the only driver.

Magical family holiday

We had an absolutely amazing week at this lovely home. Andy and Lourdes were excellent hosts, keeping us up to date from before we booked, providing a thorough information pack and kept in touch at every stage. They welcomed us to use the communal areas before check-in time due to our early flight and provided some unexpected and much appreciated refreshments while they prepared the property to a high standard. We could not have asked for better hosts. The house itself was perfect for us. It was well equipped with everything we needed and more, had plenty of lovely spaces and the outside areas are particularly beautiful. We had a fantastic time around the pool and made use of the outside bbq area too. The upstairs terrace was lovely for the evenings and mornings with glimpses of the sea. The location was a big attraction for us as we didn’t need to hire a car. The walk to the seafront was 5-10 minutes downhill with a reasonable selection of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby, with more if you walked in either direction along the seafront. We did one large online order from Mercadona and then topped up from the smaller shops nearby (a 15 and 25 minute walk). A lovely sheltered area of beach with some water sports (pedalos, paddleboards, kayaks) and the buses were also just a 10-15 minute walk. The only slight issue may be the uphill walk back can be a challenge but it is short and my 85 year old father in law managed.According to my 3 year old ‘the best holiday house ever!’

Perfect family villa

Arruzafa was just perfect for a week with our two grown up children, their spouses and our 4 small grandchildren (ranging from 4 months to 3.5 years old). The hosts have thought of everything to make your stay perfect. From lovely yummy welcome treats, lots of toys, games, inflatables for the pool, highchairs, cots, toddler cutlery and plates/bowls etc. We had all three meals a day outside on the upper terrace for the whole week which was wonderful. We could shut the upper gate and know the children couldn’t get down to the pool area. Speaking of which the pool was great and we all used it several times every day- the baby pool was ideal for our age children, the large solid shade provided by the brick built gazebo next to the pool was also great for my 3 fair skinned family members. We used the BBQ several times and had sundowners at the bar by the pool once the children were in bed. The short walk down the hill meant we could easily pop down to the beach, bars, restaurants , shops and ice cream parlour whenever we wanted - though it was hard to tear ourselves away from the pool and villa itself. Andy and Lourdes really have thought of everything and they were so helpful on arrival and then via WhatsApp during the week to recommend restaurants, beaches and to answer any small queries we had. Just perfect 👌- we WILL be back

October Half Term Holiday

We have been coming to Mojacar each October half term for a few years now. We have rented a wonderful smaller villa for the last few years but needed somewhere bigger this year as our girls are older and needed their own space. This villa was wonderful. The pool area is so beautiful, clean and with facilities that we haven’t seen in any other villa. Outdoor bar, outdoor kitchen, outdoor shower! All these extras just make sitting round the pool effortless and easy which also ensures our girls remain safe as we can keep an eye on them. The front porch is spacious and comfortable with lovely views. Andy and Lourdes made the stay personal, using Minnie Mouse bedding for our youngest to sleep in which she thought was wonderful. On arrival we had food waiting for us which was a lovely extra after a very early morning flight from Gatwick. The villa is so so central. But the private location, up a small lane, gave privacy. The gates on the property also gave us comfort that we could let all our children free roam without being concerned that they would go out of the property area. We would massively recommend this villa for families with children. It’s clean, spacious, safe and the extras make holidaying with children so much easier. Thank You Andy and Lourdes.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! La villa est magnifique, confortable et calme. La piscine est juste magique. Le jardin est superbe. Excelente alojamiento.

Una casa espectacular. Nada malo que decir. Ha sido una semana fantástica. Los propietarios, fenomenal. La limpieza perfecta. Tienen todo tipo de detalles, muy bien equipada, con un montón de utensilios, juegos, ping pong.... A cinco minutos andando de la playa y restaurantes. Eso sí, la playa es de piedra y hay que llevar escarpines. La piscina está muy bien. Y los jardines son espectaculares. Como les he dicho a los propietarios, es un pequeño paraíso y volveremos seguro.

¡Fantástico!

Las fotos, siendo representativas y completas, no le hacen justicia. ¡Es mejor aún en persona! Nuestra estancia ha sido del 18 al 30 de julio de 2022. Hemos estado 7 adultos y 4 niños (de13, 9, 7 y 6 años). Todas las habitaciones disponen de su baño, su ventilador de techo y su aire acondicionado, son amplias y estaban súper limpias. Hay 3 de ellas con cama de matrimonio, otra con 2 camas individuales y la última con 4 camas individuales. Nosotros aparcamos dentro de la casa 3 coches que pueden salir independientemente sin tener que mover los otros (es posible que quepan hasta 4). La cocina es una gozada, amplísima. Hay 3 neveras, arriba en la cocina una americana que además hace hielos y otra bajita (ideal para bebidas), y nada más entrar abajo hay otra pequeña (para no tener que subir a por más bebidas). Desayunamos en el porche de arriba, donde también cenamos. Y comimos siempre abajo, al lado de la piscina y la barbacoa, y siempre a la sombra, en 2 mesas grandes de plástico con sus respectivas sillas. Mención aparte merecen el jardín y la piscina, una auténtica gozada ambos, tanto para estar descalzo en el césped o en las tumbonas como para disfrutar del agua, la que además de estar limpísima cuenta con una mesa dentro del agua y sombra en algún punto de la misma durante todo el día gracias a las palmeras del jardín. Además, de remate, tanto Andy como Lourdes son encantadores, muy comunicativos y accesibles y siempre atentos de las necesidades de sus inquilinos. Nosotros a la playa nos acercábamos en coche por las bártulos y por el calor de vuelta (se aparca sin problema), pero por la noche siempre íbamos andando a dar un paseíto por el paseo marítimo. Para el que le interese, hay tanto restaurantes como locales de copas en el propio paseo, pero desde la casa la no se oye ni un ruido, a pesar de que la distancia al paseo no es grande. También hay supermercados cerca (Día, Mercadona, Lidl) y recomendamos ir a Garrucha a por pescado, carne para la barbacoa, frutas y verduras. En definitiva, totalmente recomendable, repetiremos seguro.

Una casa fantástica, cómoda y amplia

Hemos pasado una fantástica semana un grupo de amigos en la casa. A destacar la amplitud y comodidad en los distintos espacios. La cocina es perfecta, no le falta detalle. La terraza y la zona de la piscina fabulosas. Es una casa muy recomendable.Y, en cuanto a Andy y Lourdes les estamos muy agradecidos, han sido muy atentos y dispuestos a atenderemos en cualquier momento. Gracias.

La casa es muy bonita y está bastante bien cuidada. las instalaciones funcionaban todas y no hubo ningún incidente. Es muy de agradecer que Andy vallara la piscina porque llevábamos un niño de 2 años muy movido y sin miedo al agua. Ha sido una estancia muy agradable.

Vacaciones perfectas en familia

Hemos pasado unas vacaciones geniales, hemos disfrutado mucho de la casa, sobre todo de la zona de la piscina. La casa es muy amplia, la cocina es perfecta para tantas personas y está equipada con todo lo necesario.

Grandes vacaciones

Hemos estado muy bien toda mi familia y amigos en esta casa de Mojacar. Tiene todo lo que te especifica y más, no se hecha nada de menos. Tanto la vivienda como el menaje, las instalaciones son muy buenas. Las playas muy cercanas están muy bien y valen tanto para mayores como para niños. Aconsejo esta vivienda para que grandes familias puedan disfrutar de unas estupendas vacaciones

Maravillosa

La casa está fenomenal, aún mejor de lo que se anuncia. La casa es muy acogedora con una cocina estupenda, un salón enorme y una terraza acogedora; el jardín, precioso.; la piscina, fenomenal, la barbacoa, estupenda, aunque con poca luz (ya se lo comentamos a los dueños). En resumen, hemos estado estupendamente. Es una casa más que recomendable. Intentaremos repetir, sin dudarlo. Muchas gracias por todo.

Gracias Daniel Ya hemos arreglado la nevera principal que fallo pero confiamos que los otros 3 neveras instalados eran suficientes, el fallo en las luces externos estará arreglado al final de la temporada.

We have spent the last few years making small, gradual improvements to the facilities, based on the feedback of our guests, whilst maintaining the character that initially attracted us to the house.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Mojácar has become a resort on the south coast of Spain without the normal clutter of burger bars and fish & chip restaurants. There are miles of open beaches, small sandy coves and open countryside for sunbathing and walking. A short drive out takes you to other beaches - some busy some not - or to other towns set on the coast or up in the mountains - the real Spain is still available.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Villa La Arruzafa is situated 250 metres from the beach and is situated in a quiet street with it's own personal road leading to double tall entrance gates - a 2 metre wall surrounds 1,500 square metres of sub tropical gardens with full height cacti, rubber trees and palms.
The garden has a large swimming pool, roofed seating area, roofed barbecue area and numerous sunbathing areas on grass or gravel - everything that is required to entertain family or friends. There is a large coved elevated terrace to the front for eating or relaxing plus another 'Morrocan' terrace to the side. The property has a side entrance leading to the beach side road which has numerous restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance - there is no need to use a car once you are here if you don't wish.
