La salle des ventes, située au cœur de Ryde, fait partie d'une conversion élégante des salles de vente victoriennes de Ryde. Il a été équipé et meublé dans un savant mélange de style contemporain et traditionnel de boutique-hôtels pour offrir une base relaxante et confortable pour vos vacances. Toute la maison est inondée de lumière toute la journée. Wifi gratuit et pack de bienvenue sont fournis. Nous avons un certificat d'excellence 5 étoiles d'un autre site Web majeur.

Au rez-de-chaussée, le salon est meublé de canapés Laura Ashley et de portes-fenêtres s'ouvrant sur la cour. Il est idéal pour les sorties avec l'extérieur ou pour s'asseoir avec un verre de vin ou un café du matin. L'élégante cuisine / salle à manger comprend un bar péninsulaire pour que le cuisinier ne manque aucune action! Il y a aussi un vestiaire en bas.

À l'étage supérieur, vous trouverez un magnifique lit à baldaquin en acajou sculpté à la main dans la chambre principale avec un superbe auvent en forme de soleil. La chambre double est fraîche et ensoleillée. Les deux chambres ont des draps de lit et des oreillers appropriés. Il y a une salle de bain contemporaine (grande baignoire avec douche).

Dehors, il y a deux zones de patio (un espace privé sur le côté de la maison) meublées avec des hortensias matures, des palmiers et des arbustes. Sièges pour 4 est fourni. Un parking pour une personne est disponible dans la cour adjacente à la maison. Un parking supplémentaire payant est disponible à côté de la cour.

Visit Isle of Wight nous a décerné une médaille de bronze pour notre offre écologique. Une voiture n'est pas nécessaire pour les visiteurs (arrivée en catamaran à Ryde Pier) avec l'excellent service de bus de l'île de Ryde à travers l'île.

Ryde est une ville balnéaire élégante à East Wight avec de nombreux bâtiments victoriens et géorgiens, y compris une jetée restaurée, et un accès facile au reste de l'île. Il y a beaucoup de cafés, bars et restaurants. Il y a 6 miles de magnifiques plages de sable fin avec une marina et des parcs de jeux pour enfants. Le front de mer est à 5 minutes à pied.

Lovely stay

A perfect home from home

This beautiful property was the perfect base for exploring the island. We couldn't have been more comfortable, even though we had one rainy day it was no hardship having to stay indoors in this lovely home. We would highly recommend and will be back

Nice mews home

We had a pleasant stay even though the weather was bad. The house is comfortable and has everything you might need for a short holiday. The host is very pleasant and is quick to respond. The parking is a huge bonus. Would recommend if you want to stay close to Ferry port.

Auction House

This property is a cut above the rest. Everything is top quality and its all available when you arrive. Its spacious and well equipped for a great stay. Property manager extremely helpful and the bedrooms and bedding is top grade. The weather was against us but it is a delight to stay in and the parking space is a real bonus. Highly recommended

This lovely house lives up to all expectations

On arrival we found the house to be spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished with no signs of any wear and tear and special attention is paid to meet all our needs during our stay . It is situated in a quiet location but still close to the town and beach. Having spent our week visiting all the towns and places of interest we felt we had definitely picked the best town staying in Ryde. Just 10 minutes drive from the ferry at Fishbourne to the house.Overall we really enjoyed our timr here and would highly recommend this house for a relaxing comfortable stay in the Isle of Wight

Last Minute Booking

Contacted Christine the owner of the Auction House on Sunday 2nd June and had an immediate response saying the property was available that day for the week. On arrival ( just 4 hrs later) the house was spotless, beautifully furnished and kitchen well equipped. Bed super comfy. Lovely bed linen. Thank you Christine we had a lovely time. Deb and Martin.

A lovely little house....

Clean, attractive and modern property situated in a small and quiet mews. Comes with a free dedicated car parking space. It is quite out of the way, you would never know it was there!. Has everything you need, including a dishwasher and washing machine. The beds are comfortable and the shower is fast running. The WiFi also works well and the TV took our Firestick. There are a few breakables around (glass vases etc for decoration), so beware if you have small children, although there is no reason you cannot just put these away out of sight for your stay, which we did. This is our third time staying at the property and that speaks for itself. We would recommend this house if you wish to stay in Ryde.

this property was outstanding, all the correspondence before and details about check in, recommendations were very clear and helpful etc. Property exceptionally clean and tidy, ideally situated to explore the island and short walk to shops and places for essential items. Turning into parking area and parking is a little tight if you have a very large car and the other spaces for properties nearby are in use, but not impossible.

A great family holiday home

We really enjoyed our stay in Ryde and in Auction House. Christine the owner was very friendly and gave us great restaurant tips. The house was lovely, in a great location and was very clean, with comfy beds. There is also a BBQ that we enjoyed on our first night. Unfortunately the washing machine was out of order but Christine arranged for her house keeper to pick up our washing and had it washed and dried in the same day for us, a really lovely touch! My only suggestions would to have a few board games and have Netflix/Prime etc on the TV. We highly recommend staying at Auction House.

We had a great week at the Auction House - the property is beautiful and very well equipped. Christine was so helpful both before and during our stay. Ryde is a lovely seaside town with a beautiful beach and lots of bars, cafes and restaurants.

All good. the knives need sharpening or a knife sharpener. Kitchen v well equipped. More towels please. Smart TV would be good

Great location to explore the island

The house was nice and clean, we didn't spend much time there as was out island exploring. Everything we wanted to do was easily accessible from this location. Ryde shops and beach were a short walk away. It was perfect for what we needed. Excellent communication by Christine, when required. Thank you for a nice stay in the IOW.

Spotlessly clean. Well equipped kitchen- we brought some of our own utensils, as my brother in law is a gourmet chef, but did not need them! Well positioned. Good host- definitely ‘On it’.

Great stay in Ryde

We had a lovely family holiday (2 adults, 2 children aged 5 &6) with the Auction House as our base. The house itself is modern, comfy and cosy with lots of nice extra touches (excellently equipped kitchen, for example lots of spices & herbs). Bottle of wine, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, and biscuits much appreciated. The four-poster bed was very comfortable, and the kids loved their twin room. The house has private parking in a very quiet mews, yet the main shopping streets of Ryde are 2-3 minutes away. The beach is about 10-15 mins walk and Appley beach & playgrounds also walkable (25-30 mins). The hosts were very helpful, although we didn’t need to contact them about any additional queries as everything was already well-organised by them. Would definitely recommend for either families or couples.

Wonderful property and fantastic location

The Auction House was a fantastic base from which to explore on our family holiday. Everything we needed and more was available at the property and the little touches of finding milk in the fridge and a bottle of wine on arrival was much appreciated after our journey. The property was clean with beautiful furnishings and extremely comfortable. The towels were fluffy, bed linen soft and both my children commented on their comfy beds and slept brilliantly. The area was so peaceful at night despite being so close to the shops and being within walking distance of the main sea front was a huge bonus. We loved finding the toy shop! An email from Christine during the week with more recommendations on where to eat/visit was a lovely personal touch. We would have no hesitation recommending the property to others as it has really helped make our holiday special staying in this beautiful house.

Fantastic stay at the Auction House

Just had a fantastic one week stay at the Auction House, Ryde with my family of four. The property is very well situated within easy walking distance of everything you need, shops, great restaurants, a beautiful sandy beach. We met the owners Terry & Christine on the first day because we arrived early to see where the property was before heading off again. They are lovely people, and it's true what they say, if you need anything such as recommendations etc, they are always on the end of the phone. The property itself is really well done, very clean, comfortable beds, everything else you need such as dishwasher, utensils, nice towels. There is a lovely little courtyard area and the neighbours are really nice. We would recommend this property and the owners 100%. We will definitely stay again. I literally don't have anything negative to say. And if you go to the Island, I recommend Blackgang Chine for young children, it's magical in a very strange way. Restaurants, The Coast in Cowes is fantastic so we went there twice, the best dressed Crab in Bembridge (the best seafood platter you will ever have), and the Three Buoys in Ryde, also fantastic amongst many others.

We have been visiting the Isle of Wight for several years for short breaks having really enjoyed the varied landscape and gentler pace of life. We find Island breaks a good stress-buster!

Ryde is a great base for all year round breaks. It is so convenient to access from the ferries (5-15 minutes) which is helpful if you have had a bit of a trek to get to the Island.

Ryde has plenty of facilities, wonderful beaches and everything you need for a relaxing break whether you want to eat out or cook at home.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We love the fact the house is near the centre of town and yet is so tranquil - just a few seagulls to wake up to in the morning and the beach just a stone's throw away from the house. The four-poster bed makes us feel spoilt - a little luxury is essential on holiday, isn't it?

We have furnished The Auction House to the standard of our own home rather than as a holiday let. We hope our guests will appreciate the extra touches we have put into the house.
