Casa do Campo is a lovely villa that is equipped with everything you need for a wonderful self catering holiday. An added bonus is that shops, restaurants and the beach are all within walking distance.

Great villa, great location.

Well equipped villa with great pool. Within walking distance of bars and a fantastic beach. Would recommend a hire car if you can. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Third time here!

We love it here, spacious bungalow with comfy beds and everything you need! Huge outdoor space with fab pool! On arrival our pool was unusable but Manuel got it sorted straight away! Quick walk to beach and local shops/cafes. A lovely quiet area. We choose to uber instead of hiring a car as it works out much cheaper if we want to go further afield! Thanks to Colin for being an efficient and helpful host! Im sure we will be back again :)

Fantastic Villa

Lovely relaxing holiday. Really is a home from home with everything needed here. Pool is gorgeous. Spent most of our holiday just relaxing and making the most of the pool and being able make lunch etc. Tried several restaurants in the evening including the Italian and very impressed. Definitely recommend for a relaxing break - well appointed and well run Villa with fully equipped kitchen, good air con and towel change mid week as well - thank you

Lovely Algarve villa

We had a lovely time at this villa and would certainly return. Everything was exactly as it was described. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen was equipped for cooking and eating in. The pool and garden were lovely and we spent many an afternoon chasing the sun (or shade) around the patio. The area surrounding the villa is quiet, picturesque and just a short walk to the beach. The property is perfect for a couples or family getaway.

Great villa, superb outside area and a perfect location

This villa is perfect for a quiet, hassle free getaway. It's clean, has everything you need and comfortable, with aircon in every room. The outside space is amazing! Huge terrace, lovely big pool and big sturdy parasols for avoiding the heat. The villa is also all on one level, which is perfect if you have anyone with lower mobility. The location is fab - easy to get to shops, restaurants and beaches, both on foot and by car. We had a lovely stay!! Thank you!

Lovely villa but could be better!!

Property nice and clean but could have provided a few of the essentials, bin liners, washing up liquid, dish cloth , toilet rolls etc.. A cover for the pool would have made a big difference as the ducks landed most days making a mess around and in the pool, very off putting so didn’t use the pool.

Initial essentials are normally routinely provided. Steps have been taken to ensure that this happens always. The staff at the villa office are readily available to quickly resolve any issues that arise and are reported. The ducks are no longer in the villa pool or grounds. There have never been any previous sightings of ducks at the villa and we are not expecting any in the future.

Fabulous villa with great outside space

We have just spent a week at this villa, a family group of 3 generations looking for peace and relaxation. This is exactly what we got, the villa is in peaceful surroundings but close enough to walk to restaurants, shops and the beach. We didn’t hire a car, just had transfers to and from airport. Ubers are available within minutes if you need one. The outdoor space is the real highlight, beautiful pool and we opted for the safety fence because of the 2 year old. Villa is well stocked with everything you could need. Manuel called around first morning to make sure all okay, but we didn’t need to contact him during our stay. We were gutted to leave and would definitely return.

Fabulous villa

We stayed in this wonderful villa for a week in July. It exceeded all our expectations. Lovely pool and terrace, gets the sun all day. Shade also important for us - two large robust parasols, shaded porch, and shade from trees. Beautiful garden and plants. Kitchen fully equipped. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses etc including very nice plastic glasses for outside. Spacious bedrooms with comfy beds. Air con worked very well, but we didn’t really need it cause it was cool enough at night. Bathroom and en-suite both great. Very good water pressure in the showers. Walking distance to bars restaurants and the beach. I can highly recommend it for a very relaxing holiday.

The perfect retreat

A beautiful villa in a fantastic location. So peaceful & quiet, not overlooked, yet a stones throw from the most wonderful beach & great bars, restaurants & supermarkets. Lovely bedrooms & bathrooms. A brilliantly equipped kitchen & comfortable lounge. The pool & patio area were spacious with comfortable sun beds & 2 huge parasols On arrival the key collection was easy & the villa was presented immaculately. Everything you could need for a home from home holiday if you wanted to self cater was there. We did a combination of visiting local restaurants & dining in on the fantastic covered patio with lovely views. It was an easy 5 minute walk to the fabulous beach, restaurants & bars. 3 good supermarkets (including Aldi) are also within a few minutes walk of the villa. We have holidayed in Gale for 13 years, this was by far the best villa we have stayed in.

Fantastic stay

Really enjoyed our stay here with family and friends. Very quiet but 5 minutes away from beach, shops and bars. We enjoyed having both environments. House well equipped, and the outside space and pool is brilliant! Only miss hap we had was, the lady didn't change our bedding or towels in the second week but no biggie to us. We will go back!

Beautiful holiday in the Algarve

We absolutely loved our stay at the villa. Everything went smoothly with the check-in and the villa was exactly as described. The only thing we were a bit uncertain about was the alarm, but following a quick call it was explained to us. Our kids (and us for that matter) absolutely loved the pool, they were in it every day. The pool safety fence was a huge deciding factor for us when choosing a property and we were very grateful for it and the peace of mind it provided. The walk to the beach took us longer than ten minutes, but we had a 6 year old and a 2 year old with us! The beach is beautiful, and three restaurants on the beachfront to choose from (we ate at two of these, one for an evening meal and one for lunch snacks - both brilliant) also toilets and ice creams at the beach... What more could you ask for. We would happily return, and have already recommended the property to two friends.

Really enjoyable stay at Galé

I liked this property very much. Quite spacious and very tidy. Every inch of the house was clean and well thought of. Plenty of beds and mattress types for every taste and the both the bathrooms and kitchen were well equipped to fulfil all comum needs. The living area has plenty of entertainment solutions and both indoor and outdoor dining areas are very well placed for a relaxing meal with close access to entertainment system and kitchen on the inside and the kitchen, barbecue and pool on the outside. The pool was very sunny and got quite warm and the whole area is quiet and private enough. The beach is close enough to walk to but there is plenty of parking available close to the beach nearby if you prefer. Loved it.

Fabulous

Fabulous villa and extremely well equipped with everything you could need whilst away from home. The location is great as it is away from the main road so really peaceful during the day and at night its only about 8/9 minutes steady walk one way to a lovely Italian restaurant Bella Vita or 10 minutes the other way to Sao Domingoes. The Aldi supermarket is also quite close for the holiday big shop. If you prefer the Strip or Old Town its about 13 euros by taxi. The pool and outside areas are huge and lots of space to relax. Finally a massive thanks to the owner Colin as he made our arrival and departure so much easier with clear instructions for everything and also sorted our airport transfers which were great. All in all a gem of a find and we will definitely return when we can

After many happy family holidays in the Galé/Albufeira area, my wife and I decided we wanted to buy our own villa in this part of the Algarve. We are now very fortunate to own Casa Do Campo (house in the countryside). I hope you too will enjoy and love the area as much as we do.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Our reasons for buying the property here are : Sun, beaches, walks and relaxation ! We like the location of the villa because it is very quiet, yet only 10 minutes walk to the long sandy beach. We enjoy the walks along the beach, and around the nature reserve. Walking in the opposite direction are wonderful cliiff-top walks and many smaller sandy beaches and coves.
We like to visit the beach bars, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the lovely sunsets.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We enjoy having a large terrace with pool overlooking the countryside. It's a perfect location for entertaining and eating out of doors, or just relaxing in the sun. It is very convenient for walking to the beach, to the supermarket and the local bars and restaurants. Everything is in such easy reach of the villa.
