Thank you for the kind words. I am indeed happy with our management. It is the 4th company over the last 20 years or so and it is extremely difficult to find a good one. I hope they stay this way. As for the bed: we are looking for new but in Portugal they usually are very firm and we did not find a good substitution. We like soft but also not too soft so it will be replaced but when... probably winter 2025-2026.

Thank you for your kind words. We'll look into the wifi, it is fiber so shouldn't be like that. As for privacy: we had to choose between closing up the garden to have more privacy so losing the seaview from terrace and pool or leaving it open. As the roof terrace offers good privacy we left the garden open and stay on top when we don't want people staring.

The internet was indeed a problem which was solved by specialists of the telco outside the house, the fiber was damaged. And we consider supplying more basic necessities in the future, thanks you for the tips.

We exchanged messages over this and I can only repeat that all those who manage and clean the house were insulted by your accusations. I think I do not need to repeat our exchange, only that your story is, sorry to say, unbelievable. Looking at other reviews yours is hard to believe. In this world, whenever you find something wrong in a hotel room or property the first you do is complain at the management. Nobody heard from you so ‘the steak was eaten’ and the complaint that it was overcooked came after you ate it.

I am sorry that you experienced it this way. You experienced the worst/wettest winter in ages. We did major refurbishments and repairs the last 3 winters and the rooftop terrace was tested watertight. It seems that you have found out it wasn’t so I have to talk to the contractor again. That wet winter also explains the mold that we never have seen before so we will look into that next winter. The rooftop furniture is not even one year old and in winter the provided cushions seats 4. They are in a box for you to take out. In the manual that we provide it states that you can ask for the rest at the local management but will have to arrange it when the weather gets worse. Stains are unavoidable, even after one season but the last I checked was in December and we cleaned them. Same goes for towels and linen, housekeeping is on that and has not notified me of the condition. If it really is that bad I surely would have been notified. We’ll inspect all now and replace if needed as we think that good towels are a necessity. Once again: sorry that you had not the experience you should have and we’ll do what is needed to have it as advertised although I don’t know yet what that is.
