The villa is relatively remote which suited us just fine. We met Marie for check in and was delighted with our choice. All the facilities worked fine, ample hot water and a lovely pool area which we really enjoyed. We barbecued twice and again there is a lovely outside kitchen and seating area.

Large beautiful villa

The large villa is exactly has it is shown on the website. There is more than enough room for 8 people. Great communication with the owner (Sergio). Fantastic views across the valley. Wi-Fi and Netflix free. A car is required.

Delightful Quinta

Delightful, private, and quiet "Quinta" located a stone's throw from Albufeira. Great communication with the host, Sergio, who provided various information about excursions that could be taken. We love the pool and BBQ area, where we spent a lot of our downtime.

Wonderful villa in great location

The description of the villa was accurate and it became our home from home for a month. The host Sergio- met us the first day to show us around and kept in contact throughout the month, if we contacted him, his reply was immediate. The house was very well equipped, with a lovely pool. The house was on a hill facing west and so we had beautiful sunsets. Tunes has a railway station so some of us used it to explore the Algarve.

Very attentive and friendly owner. The house is very spacious. Lots of room and very clean. The pool is great too. Pretty much 20-30 minutes away from all the amazing beaches. The kitchen is well equipped.

Relaxing stay with fabulous views

We absolutely loved our week at the villa. It was perfect for our extended family (6 adults & 2 children aged 6 and 3). The villa had everything we needed and more. The villa is very spacious with lots of different seating areas. It was lovely sitting out each evening having bbqs and the pool was perfect during the daytime. Owner was in contact with us a few times and very helpful with local recommendations. The late checkout was an added bonus. Thank you for a fabulous stay, we would love to visit again.

We had a brilliant stay. The host & hostess were extremely helpful no matter what we were asking. They dropped us directions to various restaurants , beaches etc. Check-in was straightforward and the host guided us to the property which is on a private road 10 minutes walk from the village of Tunes. Transport is essential. There is a Spar in Tunes that has everything or The Algarve shopping centre is a 15 minute drive away..The private pool , perfect in the hotter weather.The villa is roomy, 3 of the bedrooms have sliding doors to either the pool or garden.A great BBQ area.The villa provided the perfect spot for relaxation but a 20minute drive to the Old town or 1/2 hr to Villamoura.Tunes itself has several great coffee shops

Wonderfull Algarve

House was perfect for our family. Location was great. View with sunsets every evening was awesome. Pool was a little chilly for us but didn't bother the youngsters. Sergio & Susanna, the owners, provided wood for fireplace, weekly maid service, lawn & pool care. They were very attentive to our needs. Everything is generally within a 15 minutes drive. This house is away from the urban fray of Albufeira and in a great location.! We would stay there again!

Just Wow!

We were so pleased that we chose this villa. Yes it is a little tucked out if the way but this was ideal for us. So peaceful and relaxing. We were 3 generations celebrating my daughter’s 21st birthday so we’re out in Albufeira Old Town most nights. It was full on night life and we made the most of it. Would highly recommend staying here and we hope to be back. The villa owners went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful vacation in the Algarve

The Quinta was the perfect location for our family of 6. It is a home away from home. It is 10 minutes away from Albufeira and wonderful beaches. The house is located at a remote hill area which allows for a relaxing retreat from the busy tourist area. We enjoyed the 20 minutes walk into the little nearby town Tunes to have some Espresso or Sangria. The hosts Sergio and Susana are awesome and easy to contact. They provided ideas for day trips and local restaurants and even replaced the TV set with a smart TV. We are very grateful for their kindness and the warm home they have created, adding a personal touch to our vacation. Thank you for making our first visit to the Algarve a memorable experience

The Villa was excellent , except some of discriiption was not accurate.No tv the old town square in Albufuira was not within walking distance ,Sérgio our host was excellent also his wife it was a pleasure to meet them .Portfolio needed with useful information.eg emergency no’s . We stayed at Quinta do Mirante from Feb. 1 24 to Feb 29 /24 It was the perfect spot for us. Being in the center of the Algarve allowed us to cover east and west with only 1.25 hours in any direction to go where we wanted to visit. Sergio and Susan are the perfect hosts and owners. They easily ahndled any requests we had and Sergio met us in Lisbon for the day and gave us a complete tour of the city and then we met up with Susan aswell before we departed Lisbon on the train. Just want to give a big shout out to Maria the house keeper who we saw on Saturday mornings and she did a great job on the house cleaning and changing the beds. The Villa is actually in the town of Tunes and is very close to the train station and the IC1 and A22 which is easy access to any where in the Algarve. We had such a great month of February at Quinta do Mirante and the Lorentz's and my wife highly recommend it as the perfect location for exploring the Algarve. The Villa has 4 very comfortable bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. A great charcoal bbq on the back deck that we litterally used it all the time cooking fish and chicken. Sergio and Susan are the best hosts and I hope everyone visiting Quinta do Mirante has a spectacular time like we have had.

Tout est impeccable. Les propriétaires sont du gentiesse incroyable, donne des conseils touristiques, le logement est simplement spacieux et très bien équipés!! nous étions 8 et n'avons eu aucunement l'impression de se marcher dessus!! un très bel endroit

Maison très sympathique avec une superbe vue sur Albufeira . Voiture privilégiée pour accéder au logement . Qui se situe en haut d’une colline . Idéal si vous aimer le calme de la campagne et que vous souhaiter vous reposer en famille . À 8 km d Albufeira en voiture et une heure et demie de portimao par la N135.. Dommage que l’on ne puisse rien faire à pied car rien à proximité Très bien accueilli par l’hôte . Sergio vous conseille sur les sites à visiter et est disponible pour Répondre à toute vos questions . À refaire sans hésiter !
