Charme élégant et confortable Fabuleusement

Un magnifique cottage indépendant situé dans un endroit magnifique au-dessus des toits et des bâtiments historiques de Wirksworth. Le chalet a été soigneusement restauré pour les normes les plus élevées. La zone autour de la Maison Wee a la sensation d'un village de pêcheurs de Cornouailles - un patchwork aléatoire des maisons et des jardins retirés de la circulation et du bruit. La Maison Wee est paisible, calme et a une «loin de tout« sentir - mais il est seulement une courte amble bas de la colline aux boutiques originales et de restaurants indépendants ci-dessous. Idéal pour une pause détente ou un endroit idéal pour partir à l'aventure dans les sommets environnants - vous pouvez marcher et le cycle de la porte.
jours -Changeover sont le vendredi et le lundi. En basse saison, nous allons commencer les autres jours si possible. Nous nous félicitons de 2 séjours de nuit en basse saison - s'il vous plaît renseigner pour un prix.
En bas de la finition de haute qualité est chaleureuse, accueillante et confortable; tandis que l'étage a une sensation de luxe qui est ouverte, la lumière et calmant. (Cliquez sur «plus d'informations» pour plus d'informations)

Les caractéristiques originales abondent - poutres en chêne sinueux, un foyer de pierre meulière et fenêtres profonde en retrait. Ceux-ci sont complétés par des planchers en chêne massif, un fantastique combustion de poêle à bois et volets en bois faits à la main. Finition et touches Fabuleux partout.

Great little cottage, spotlessly clean with all expected amenities. Very close to the market place in Wirksworth, restaurants, pubs and a variety of shops.Access via either the Dale or Greenhill is very steep, but this is the Peak District!

The position of the cottage was wonderful. High up, with fabulous views over the town. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Immaculately clean and very charming cottage. It has two lovely sun terraces.Could not find fault. It is a steep climb from where you park your car, up to the property. But, it's worth it!

A charming little house

Perfect little cottage, warm, cosy and has everything you could need. I stayed here alone but there would have been plenty of room for two. Divinely comfortable bed, excellent walking right from the door and a wood burner for when you get back. Mal and Sarah are so friendly and helpful. I can't recommend this highly enough.

A high standard of decor and very well maintained cottage. The hosts are friendly, accommodating and provide local knowledge of places to walk and visit.Wirksworth is a lovely little town with quaint shops, lovely pubs and restaurants. Parking can sometimes be tricky by the cottage if you have a large vehicle, but there is always a space to be found. We have a pick-up and still found a spot.Will definitely be returning in the future

Just lovely

Such a gorgeous little, but spacious, cottage. The cottage was immaculate and had everything you would need, so well thought out and the views were to die for. A great location for exploring or just pottering around the cute little town. Great hosts. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

A cottage with a view

A miner's cottage from 1750 lovingly and respectfully renovated, blessed with a terrace with an unforgettable view.The owner was very affable and generous with his help (bringing my suitcase up the pathway) and his tips on points of interest. I hope to go back in the not too distant future.

Wonderful cottage in a unique and charming position

We had a fantastic week in the Wee Cottage on the Hill. There are so many wonderful local walks up to the quarry and down to Cromford. The cottage is lovely, it is comfortable, well equipped and has stunning views.

Very comfortable, beautifully decorated, had everything you need. Lovely town, nice pubs and restaurant, all within a short walk of the property. Fantastic views from the property of the rolling hills and in a prime location to visit places like Buxton and Bakewell and plenty of other places and things to do, including walking.The host was fantastic.All in all a wonderful break.

Hello - we are Sarah and Mal and we live down the hill and round the corner from the Wee House on the Hill.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

We were regular visitors to the Peak District and moved to Wirksworth in 1998 because it gave us all we wanted - beautiful walking and cycling country and an open and friendly community - it is a vibrant town with local shops and a thriving creative community full of designers, artists, musicians and sculptors. Wirksworth has a quaint village feel but with the benefits of all the amenities of a small town (restaurants, cafes, pubs etc). We lived in the Wee House as a rental property when we first moved to Wirksworth and fell in love with the cottage. When it came up for sale we saw it as an opportunity to lovingly improve it, and turn it into one of the best and most enjoyed holiday cottages in Derbyshire.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The 'Wee House' is stylish, comfortable and extremely well appointed with stunning views from both the cottage and garden. It is a 'top spot' literally and also because of its proximity to Peak District attractions. This quaint miners cottage has many original features, oak beams, and floorboards, gritstone fireplace with log burner. The cottage is a mix of traditional and contemporary. Downstairs offers comfort and warmth whilst upstairs offers a french boutique feel which is light, spacious and peaceful. The area surrounding the 'wee house' dates back to the 17th century and is called the 'puzzle gardens' due to the random layout of cottages and pathways which gives it a similar feel to a cornish fishing village.
