Ranmoor- belle maison de caractère avec jardin clos et vue magnifique.<br>

Ranmoor est une villa victorienne magnifiquement restaurée, située en partie dans la zone de conservation désignée de Matlock Bath et à cinq minutes à pied des magasins, pubs, restaurants et cafés du centre de Matlock Bath.

Le chalet a une position privilégiée, offrant une vue sur la rivière Derwent et la vallée vers Matlock.

A l'étage, 3 chambres pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes.

Il y a une chambre principale de bonne taille avec un magnifique lit français antique et une armoire. Une autre chambre double avec un beau lit ancien français et une troisième chambre avec un lit superposé qui sont des lits simples pleine grandeur, mais il est recommandé que seuls les petits adultes dorment sur la couchette supérieure. Toutes les chambres peuvent accueillir un lit de voyage.

La salle de bain contemporaine a une belle baignoire îlot avec robinets sur pied et douche.

Il y a une autre salle de douche avec WC.

La cuisine-salle à manger a un magnifique poêle à bois antique et un sol carrelé à carreaux d'origine. Il est entièrement équipé avec un lave-vaisselle, un lave-linge, une machine à café et un four micro-ondes.

Le salon dispose d'un somptueux canapé chesterfield, d'une télévision de 40 pouces avec Freesat.

Il y a de belles vues sur la vallée et la rivière depuis cette chambre et la chambre principale.

La maison a le chauffage central au gaz et Internet sans fil. Le carburant, l'électricité, le linge de lit et un panier de démarrage de bûches sont inclus dans les tarifs de location. 1 chaise haute, 1 lit de voyage (pas de literie) et un babyphone sont inclus. Des livres, des jouets et une sélection de DVD sont fournis pour les clients.

Dehors, il y a un beau jardin clos et ensoleillé et une cour séparée avec une table et des chaises pour 6 personnes. Un barbecue est également fourni. Il y a quelques marches à la propriété, il n'est donc pas adapté aux personnes à mobilité réduite. Les étapes ont des mains courantes pour vous aider. Il y a un parking sur la route pour les véhicules à l'extérieur de la propriété, mais c'est sur la base du premier arrivé, premier servi.

Un magasin de vélos en briques sécurisé est disponible sur demande pour les clients dans le jardin à proximité de la propriété.

Il y a de belles promenades et balades à vélo depuis la porte d'entrée du chalet.

Petra is the perfect host, she sent us reccomendations for local attractions restaurants and cafés. The cottage is well equipped and very comfortable with amazing views. Matlock Bath is a great place to visit and the Heights of Abraham very interesting. We also visited Bakewell and very pretty village and easy to get to by bus.

Beautiful Ranmoor

Ranmoor is a beautiful cottage, with a large sunny garden which was very secure for our little dog to happily potter around! The beds were super comfortable as was the rest of the cottage. Great hosts too!

A very relaxing and well-equipped place.We especially enjoyed the various little garden sitting spots.(Of course, you should know that Matlock Bath is a biker meeting spot, especially on weekends. Nevertheless - very recommendable.)

We had a fantastic stay at the property. It was walking distance to Matlock Bath (the road is quite steep) and we also walked to Matlock. There was loads to do in the area and something for everyone The garden was absolutely beautiful. There were two times during the 9 days when we couldn't park on the roads near the property but we found alternative parking in the town. The internet was fast and allowed my son to play on his Xbox in the evenings. I would recommend this stay to others.

Loved our stay at Ranmoor! Very high quality property with excellent beds, brilliantly equipped kitchen, gorgeous gardens in a very convenient yet quiet location. We ate at the Fish Pond pub - highly recommend the nasi goreng - and went to the Heights of Abraham, Cromford and walked locally across the hill to Matlock. This area has a real holiday feel about it. Very good communication with Petra, who left a bottle of delicious rosé and some biscuits for us. Thank you very much! Peaceful stay in Matlock Bath

We loved our stay at Ranmoor! It was just the kind of accommodation we wanted for our family. It had everything we needed and was great for the kids. An easy walk into Matlock Bath and all its attractions but once back 'home' it was peaceful and tranquil. We loved sitting out in the beautiful garden looking out across the valley. The house itself had a lot of character and was very homely and comfortable. We found our hosts to be very helpful, especially when my grandson was ill at the beginning of our stay! Thanks for going out of your way to help us. Ranmoor is a place we'd love to return to in the future. It is a delight!

Amazing! A touch of luxury in a cozy English cottage!

What a glorious property! High-end furnishings, that are as cozy as they are classy, made this cottage feel like a European dream for us. The location is ideal for hiking in the Peak District as well as visiting sights like Chatsworth and Haddon Hall. Comfortable beds with soft blankets, two bathrooms with plenty of hot water (and plenty of water pressure), a fully stocked kitchen, and the gardens...wow! Petra, the host, is extremally responsive, generous and kind which made the overall experience everything we could have hoped for. If your dates are available, don't hesitate to book this wonderful property!

Just perfect.

We had a wonderful 4 nights at Ranmoor. The property is perfectly situated for a short walk into Matlock Bath to take part in whatever activity you planned to do for the day. There were 2 generous size double rooms that were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. A smaller bunk room for children. A generous bathroom upstairs and a shower room downstairs. Plenty of comfortable seating in the living room to relax into with a glass of wine in the evening after spending the day walking in the hills, exploring lead mines and eating fish and chips. The kitchen diner was well stocked and the cooker and dishwasher were easy enough to use. Although the November weather wasn't ideal for really enjoying the garden we still loved to enjoy looking out at it in the mornings and the dog enjoyed exploring it too. It is a really good size, on different levels and, as long as your dog isn't one for jumping high, it is pretty much fully enclosed. We felt comfortable letting our boy off lead and loose in the garden but never unsupervised. Parking was never an issue. Great communication from Petra throughout. We highly recommend a holiday in Ranmoor. Thanks again Petra. D & J.

Perfect break

Very clean, well looked after. Had a wonderful time. Fantastic views. Some notes for Petra a few things would have made it even better - eg toilet seat loose, nowhere to put soap/shampoo in the shower. Would recommend that the gutter is fixed as the dripping is damaging the outside wall and windowsill.

Beautiful scenery

We had a fantastic stay Petra was amazing in responding to any request! It was ideally located to numerous views that were breathtaking, travelled to Matlock via bus and had a wonderful day! Can’t say enough about the cottage it suited our needs and more! Thank You Petra for your welcome package! Now back to Canada . A lovely house with everything that you could want. Ideally located for eating and drinking in Matlock Bath and as a base for exploring the town's and countryside in the peaks and dales area. Fabulous views and location

Had a wonderful week stay as a family of four. Comfortable house, lovely bedrooms and layout. Fantastic views from back windows and nice seating area at end of pretty garden. Location was just what we wanted - easy access to Peaks and attractions. Owner very helpful re information about local area and replied v quickly to any questions. We hope to return one day!

Great cottage, wonderful host

We stayed in Ranmoor for 3 nights. The cottage is beautifully presented and decorated. The views from the lounge and the large bedroom are absolutely stunning. Petra was an amazing host and even left us some fruit and cookkes as a welcome gift! We managed to find parking in the street outside the place so not an issue. Thanks Petra for a memorable stay!

Matlock Bath

This was an super choice for us it was a very clean and well fitted house in a lovely location. Ideal for long walks from the town itself without having to drive. Small town but very friendly in all shops and bars. Be prepared that when you going anywhere around the area it can be hilly but fun.
