Snowbird sanctuary

Charming century house with everything you need to make your stay perfect. Very quiet neighbourhood, close to the beach. Lots to do in Galveston as well. The hosts are super nice folks that truly embody the southern hospitality.

Nice house, good location

Very clean, historic house a short walk from the beach in a quiet neighborhood. Well-kept and secure backyard and deck for a dog. There’s a grill but we didn’t use it given all the great restaurants and patios in Galveston.

Wonderful house near the beach in Galveston

My husband and I along with our dogs, had a wonderful time at Kathy's beautiful house in Galveston. Kathy was great about communicating and the house was just as described and perfect for our weekend. We look forward to staying at Kathy's again!

Awesome trip

Property owner was fantastic and the property was amazing and just as detailed. We enjoyed being able to spend the evening together in the property and on the back porch and the location to everything was great so we didn’t have a long drive to do activities.

Quiet street

Seaside Delight is a wonderful home on an unusually quiet street. Home is well equipped and spacious. The extra half bath is a great addition. Beautiful historic details in the home. Host Kathy was in touch easily but honestly we didn’t anything. Easy access to the beach and restaurants. One of the best rentals I’ve ever experienced

We love the island life! We are blessed with a beautiful family, career and now this awesome beach home. We work really hard, so we can play really hard. We love to have family time, travel, and fish. We purchased this house to share with lots of family and friends and hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do. Our goal is for all of our guests to sit back, relax and love Galveston as much as we do.

We love the beach, love to fish, and most of all we love family time! Therefore, with Galveston only one hour away, we all decided this was the perfect place. Galveston has so much history, charm, GREAT restaurants, shopping and so much more to see and do that you can easily spend a week here and never run out of things to do. It also has the world's longest continuous sidewalk which attracts walkers, joggers, bicyclists, skaters and many more activities. So, if you like to be active, it's a great place or, if you prefer to relax, just grab a good book and enjoy the beach! We wanted to allow others to enjoy Galveston and our home as much as we do; therefore, we designed and furnished our home with comfort and entertainment in mind. Consequently, it's not just a vacation rental, it's a vacation home! Seaside Delight has been fully renovated with all new appliances, remodeled bathrooms, refinished floors and great bedrooms. With a large private deck and backyard. It is like a brand new home, but maintains the charming, historic cottage look and feel of the early 1900's.

Seaside Delight is just that. A delightful home for your vacation. Close to the Pleasure Pier, the historic Strand and just 5 blocks to the beach! For parking ease, we have a long driveway with access from the front of the house. You can easily park your boat or 4 large vehicles without relying on street parking. If you like entertaining outdoors you will love our backyard retreat with a privacy fence, large deck and plenty of seating areas.
