Beautiful Villa with pool.

A bucolic retreat. The villa was very comfortable and well appointed. The outdoor space and landscaping was fabulous. Collette was an excellent hostess and very responsive to our very few issues. Over all, the rental iwas a positive experience.

We loved it

Like last year, Cholette did a great job in communicating with us. The villa is top maintained and Luke, her local manager was also very helpfull and responsive. So we will definitivly want to come back ;-)

Where do we start? We have stayed in many villas across Portugal and Spain, and this has to be one of the best. For a 3 bed villa (Depending on whether you need the annexe) it is large. The open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge are spacious. All bedrooms are well appointed with good quality bed linen and towels, and all rooms (including lounge and annexe) have Air Conditioning (not that we really needed it having been acclimatised by multiple heatwaves this year in the UK). The pool is large and clean, and perfect in the Summer sun.There are multiple seating areas around the large garden, including two dining areas. One covered by an awning, and one under the pool pergola that has lighting and a electric opening roof.There is a larger pergola further down the garden, with a lot of seating options, which too has lighting, but we only really went down there to play pétanque. (Tip - to turn the lights on/off here, there is a small control box in the top right hand corner of the pergola as you are facing the villa).The roof terrace was great for sunrises and sunsets, and that too has a couple of sun loungers and table and chairs.All loungers and chairs have cushions available stored in weather proof storage boxes.Comms with Collette the host were perfect. I would happily recommend this villa, and would happily revisit in the future.

Absolute perfection.

Lovely property in a very quiet rural area. With a car you are able to access everywhere in no time at all. I'd say it's the nicest and most complete rental I have ever stayed at. Excellent communication from booking to leaving, everything worked and it felt like an honour to be there. Would recommend this spacious and very well equipped rental for every occasion. Just spent a week there with my 6 year old son. Fantastic.

Wonderful trip

This is our second visit to this villa. The property is beautiful and well-maintained. It was spotlessly clean upon arrival, which made settling in easy.The villa is well-equipped, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had modern appliances, and there was plenty of space to relax.The host was extremely helpful and responsive, providing useful information about the area and answering any questions we had. Their recommendations for local sights and dining were appreciated.The location was excellent, offering a balance of tranquility while being close to local attractions and beaches. Overall, I would highly recommend this villa for anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable stay in Portugal.

Superb villa excellent value

First time for myself and my wife to stop in a villa and have both made the decision not to stop on a resort again. Villa was better than we had thought it was everything was available to us so that once we had done a small shop we didn’t really need to leave the property. Owner was a great help to us and nothing was too much trouble for them. Super location car is required however to get about but that was a bonus because we got to see parts of the Algarve that we would not have been able to get to see if stopping at a resort. Can’t wait for next year.

Great villa with fantastic pool

We had a great experience in the Algarve and in the villa. We knew that it is a bit remote, so a (rental) car is required. There’s plenty of great restaurants nearby though. The swimming pool is just fantastic, we had a great time! There’s always something that can fail in any house and so that happened during our visit. It’s how that is being dealt with that makes all the difference. Within 30 minutes, the handyman arrived at the house and immediately started to fix the problem while we were going out on a tour. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would love to come back some day!

2 weeks of luxury

Where to begin, when we booked this villa we were blown away by the photos and descriptions provided by the owners as well as the reviews of other guests, however nothing can really do justice to staying here in person. The Villa has got to be hands down the best I’ve ever stayed in. The attention to detail by the owners is incredible they really have thought of everything and there is nothing you could want for. Communication at all stages with the owner was excellent both before our arrival giving us loads of information and directions to assist our safe entry. Then the list of restaurants and days out as well as information on local attractions and places to visit was great. On arrival a welcome parcel of some snacks and drinks were gratefully received and after arriving so late meant breakfast was all in hand the following day without having to leave. The villa itself is spectacular we love the fact the location is remote enough to have the peace and quiet with spectacular views all around but then still not far to get to anything. The pool was amazing and a great temperature all day round meant if you wanted there was no reason to ever leave the Villa. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and we will definitely be returning in the future this area of Portugal is fantastic and our stay at Casa Amendoeira Velha was 5 star.

la perfection est proche

C'est une maison très agréable et fonctionnelle: outre les chambres confortables et la pièce à vivre très bien équipée, nous avons beaucoup apprécié le jardin plein de recoins. Par ailleurs, la table de pingpong, le billard et le baby foot ont été appréciés par toutes les générations. En fait, nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous tout de suite. Il faut dire que les propriétaires ont pensé à tout et rien ne manque: vaisselle, condiments, ustensiles... En plus le réfrigérateur comprenait un "kit" d'accueil (beurre, œufs, bières, vins...) Charmant, tout comme l'accueil et les relations avec les différentes personnes chargées de la maison. Nous avons passés d'excellentes vacances dans cet havre! Merci pour tout! It is a very nice and functional house: besides the comfortable rooms and the living room very well equipped, we enjoyed the garden full of nooks. In addition, the table tennis, billiards and table football have been appreciated by all generations. In fact, we felt right at home right away. It must be said that the owners have thought of everything and nothing is missing: dishes, condiments, utensils ... In addition to the refrigerator included a "kit" home (butter, eggs, beer, wine ...) Charming, all like the reception and the relations with the different persons in charge of the house. We had a great time in this haven! Thank you for everything

Très belle propriété

La villa est très belle ,très spacieuse et très bien équipée. Le panier d accueil a été très apprécié à l arrivée ! L extérieur est très vaste,avec différents coins très bien aménagés pour des moments de repos. La piscine est très apreciable,son accès est en cours de ré installation. Le coin salle de jeux au dessus du garage a été le repère favori de nos enfants . La villa est ds un coin très calme entourée d orangers.Elle es a une vingtaine de min en voiture des plus belles criques de l algarve. Et à 25 30 min d albufeira. Nous avons adoré cette villa et sa situation paria Marinha,praia Albandeira ,praia benagil......un rêve !!!! Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute Je recommande vivement

Sehr fürsorgliche Gastgeberin sowohl vor, als auch während des Aufenthaltes.Super ausgestattete Villa mit zahlreichen Möglichkeiten sich zu betätigen. Pool(beheizt), Poolbillardtisch, Kickertisch, Tischtennisplatte...Ruhig gelegen umgeben von Orangenhainen.

Tolle Villa

Wir waren jetzt zum 3 mal in dieser Villa und das Haus begeistert uns immer wieder. Die Ausstattung und Lage ist top, die Kommunikation mit Colette ist schnell und unkompliziert und die Bilder sprechen für sich. Wir kommen nächstes Jahr gerne wieder ;-)

Tolles Haus in toller Lage

Das Haus hat unsere Erwartungen mehr als erfüllt. Das Haus war toll ausgestattet, sauber besaß eine sehr schöne ruhige Lage und hatte alles (und mehr) was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub zusammen mit seiner Familie sich wünscht. Colette (wie auch ihr Manager vor Ort Mike) waren tolle Ansprechpartner in allen Fragen im Vorfeld zu unserem Besuch wie auch während unseres Aufenthaltes. Wer etwas Besonderes sucht ist hier absolut richtig!

Second time at this villa and once again not disappointed. This property has had some improvement on it and this has just added to how good this property is for families. Wundervolle Villa

Wir sind begeistert von der schönen Villa, die wirklich keine Wünsche offen lässt und dem tollen Eindruck, den die Bilder vermitteln, absolut gerecht wird. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch die schnelle, unkomplizierte und kompetente Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin. Sowohl die Anreise als auch der Aufenthalt sind Dank der ausführlichen Beschreibungen einfach und problemfrei. Auch wir durften uns über ein großzügiges Willkommenspaket an Lebensmitteln freuen, was wir sehr zu schätzen wissen. Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt in der Villa und können das Haus bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen.

Perfect Villa for Families

We had the best week staying in Colette’s beautiful villa. It’s perfectly located in quiet surroundings with great views of the area. The villa was spotlessly clean and so well equipped. Everything you could want for a holiday was there to be used. We paid extra for the pool to be heated which was great. Nothing was too much trouble for Colette. Would highly recommend this villa.

Great Villa!

We has a fantastic stay. The Villa was spacious and airy, well stocked with everything you might need and more. Between the pool, football table, hammock and ping pong our kids never wanted to leave the Villa. Great communication from the owners, very responsive and had lots of tips to share too. Welcome pack on arrival was super helpful. Would definitely stay again

Ach war es wunderschön

Exzellent ausgestattetes Haus in toller Lage, in Orangenhainen gelegen. Gemütliche Einrichtung, sagenhafter Pool, den wir den täglich genossen haben. Nahezu uneinsehbarer Traumgarten, mit Sitzgelegenheiten für jede Tageszeit und Sonnenstand. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, herzlichen Dank auch für das freundliche und leckere Willkommenspräsent.

Sehr schöne Villa mit Pool an der Algarve

Wir haben im August und September 2020 mitten in der Corona-Zeit zwei erholsame Ferienwochen in der Villa verbracht. Diese liegt ca. 20 Minuten von der Küste entfernt, von Orangenfeldern umgeben, im Hinterland der Algarve in der Nähe des Städtchens Silves. Die moderne Villa ist auf einem schönen großen Grundstück mit zahlreichen Sitzplätzen in Sonne und Schatten für jeden Geschmack und einem tollen Pool. Die Ausstattung im Haus ist sehr gut, insbesondere die Küche hat alles was man braucht inkl. sämtlicher Elektrogeräte. Es gibt sogar einen Weber-Kugelgrill. Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet und verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer, zwei Badezimmer und ein gemütliches Wohnzimmer. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Freizeitmöglichkeiten wie Pool-Billiard, Boule-Platz, Tischtennis und Kicker. So wird es selbst Teenagern nicht langweilig. Wir möchten uns besonders bei den Vermietern Collette und ihrem Mann Richard bedanken, die bei Bedarf sofort reagieren und uns zur Begrüßung ein Willkommenspaket inform eines großen Essenpakets überlassen haben. So kann man den ersten Abend und das Frühstück auch ohne Einkauf gut überstehen. Es gibt auch eine Mappe mit zahlreichen Infos zu Ausflügen, Stränden und Restaurants. Wir werden den ruhigen Aufenthalt in de Villa in den turbulenten Zeiten als sehr positiv in Erinnerung behalten und können Ferien dort nur weiterempfehlen. Wir vergeben 5 Sterne von 5.
