Appartement spectaculaire au dernier Ă©tage - il ne reste que quelques semaines pour la saison 19/20.

Top Floor (6) Centre Of Town arrĂȘt de bus avec pour tous les RemontĂ©es mĂ©caniques sur le seuil. L'appartement a une vue absolument gobsmacking et nous espĂ©rons que l'intĂ©rieur reflĂšte cette scĂšne Ă©tonnante. Cette annĂ©e, nous avons fait quelques ajouts et nous avons veillĂ© Ă  ce que l'appartement est rempli de «essentiels» tels que les lave-vaisselle onglets, l'huile, le sel et le poivre, Ă  presser, feuille, etc Il ya une machine Ă  cafĂ© Nespresso pour les amateurs de cafĂ©, mais vous aurez besoin d'apporter vos propres gousses malheureusement.

Great apartment

Thanks Gregor for a great week in your lovely apartment. Communication with yourself was good right from the start and Claire was waiting for us on arrival in Val, and responded very quickly to any questions we had. The apartment is in a good location. Walking distance to the shops/restaurants and next to the bus stops for skiing in either direction. Amazing views from all aspects, very comfortable and well equipped. We cooked in a couple of times and had everything we needed. We ate out at La Barillon in La Daille (a family favourite) and The Lodge (great meat fondue). Val pizza was also great for takeaway. We would definitely recommend your apartment to our friends and family, and will book again next time we are in Val.

L'appartement est trÚs agréable, spacieux, avec une vue incroyable et tout à disposition. La navette en bas de l'immeuble permet de rejoindre facilement le coeur de la station. Les échanges avec le propriétaire ont été trÚs sympathiques (en anglais). Nous reviendrons trÚs probablement !

Great view and an ideal location

We had a marvelous stay in the spacious and modern apartment with a great view over the village and the sloops! The bus stop and the food shop are just across the road and the city center in walking distance! We would very much recommend this apartment.

Sehr schöner Ort mit phantastischer Aussicht

Das Appartment im 6. Stock bietet einen wunderbaren Ausblick auf einen der Hausberge, die Solaise und den Ortskern von Val d‘Isere. Der kostenlose Shuttle in beide Richtungen (Rond Point und Daille) hĂ€lt vor dem Haus. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen sicher wieder!

Apartment much more spacious than other french equivalents, wonderful view, well equipped .well positioned for shops, bus, ski area, as well as being quiet. View was the one saving grace for skier who broke her ankle on the third day.

Fantastic view and the benefit of being located beside a stop for the free bus

Great apartment with good space for 5 adults. The view is amazing and something you would never get tired of! The apartment is well equipped to cater for full cuisine preparations. Unable to locate the iron though? Also, experienced issues with the lock on our locker door for the skis but this was fixed on request. It's a pity that the locker room is closed at 8pm as then you have to bring your skis to your apartment if returning home late from apres-ski. Assistance was pretty much instantaneous throughout the week which was brilliant. Very much recommend this location!

An outstanding apartment

This really is an outstanding apartment and the pictures in the advert on OwnersDirect don't do justice to the breath-taking views you get from the gigantic window at the end of the lounge area, or the amazing balcony that goes right around the corner of the building. This is spacious, well-appointed and very comfortable accommodation and the Val shuttle bus route is right outside the front door to the apartment block, very easy and convenient. The centre of Val d'Isere is a 5 minute walk away, a well-stocked Spar supermarket is 2 minutes walk in the opposite direction. So great accommodation, at a really great price, and Mr Gregor Robertson, the owner, could not have been more helpful. I will certainly be using this apartment again. Very highly recommended.

Simply stunning view...

Lovely apartment with all you need. Bus stop across the road and they come every 5 mins in the day and run till very late...and are free! Only a 5-10 min walk into the centre. Small Spar across the road is useful. Laundry facilities in the lobby of the block. The thing that will stick in your mind is the view from the lounge window....absolutely stunning! You can spend a day just sat staring out that window...be warned! Gregor is a pleasure to deal with and very helpful. We'll certainly be speaking to him again if/when we return to Val!

Fantastic apartment with stunning views

I first stayed in this apartment a year ago, since which time I have been fortunate to have stayed a further twice. As the previous reviewers have made clear, it is absolutely outstanding. I have been coming to Val for over 30 years,staying in a variety of accomodation during that time ie s/c,hotels,chalets,however this apartment is something special. First of all,the views! An entire wall is a window,so to speak,with a stunning view of the entire village,Solaise slopes and Le Fornet to the left and the Charvet and Bellevarde to the right.At night, the view is mesmerising,with the lights of the village and occasional firework display.I would particularly recommend sitting in the living room at night with the lights out,looking down on the village - stunning.If you look out the bedroom window to the rear,you look towards La Daille. The apartment has been very tastefully finished,has every appliance/amenity you would have in your own home,is spacious,unlike every other French s/c apartment I have stayed in, and was immacutely clean on each of my arrivals.The apartment is perfectly positioned within the resort,being within 4 minutes walk to the main shops and bars, and bustops for both directions being immediately outside tha apartment block. Gregor,the owner,is a delight to deal with and when he states in his description of his apartment that he worked in Val for many years,during which time he searched for,and found,the perfect apartment,he is not exaggerating. As an historical aside, Jean Claude Killy,the most successful ever French skier, lived in this same apartment block in his formative years.

Fabulous!

Thank you for a superb week in Val. Your apartment really is lovely - super-spacious, comfortable, conveniently located, and that view is totally mesmerising! Things couldn’t have gone more smoothly, and I think we did Val proud - not many runs left untouched on this side of the Vanoise National Park - and my husband and son absolutely loved the off-piste bits all around. It really is a fantastic area. As extensive as the ski area is, the lift/bus system linked really well, so wherever we were on the slopes it was never far from 'home'. We ate out at Restaurant 1789 and at La Barague, both really close to the apartment, and would recommend these. Eating in was easy too as the kitchen had everything you need, and there was plenty of dining space. Thanks again, and we’ll certainly have an eye on your apartment with a view to booking again in the future. (Family of four with older teenagers.)

Great Apartment and Great Location

This apartment was fantastic and if I am lucky enough to be back I will definitely stay again. The apartments facilities are great, it is all very new and nice and spacious in comparison to many others I have seen. We had 6 people staying and it worked fine. The location was amazing, as was the view from the window in the lounge and the balcony! The free bus that stops just outside was fantastic to get you to all the different ski lifts and if you don't want to walk the 5 mins into town you can easily jump on the bus.

the view from the living room of Le Face and the village is truly awesome. the flat has everything that anyone would require/want for a week (or more!) of skiing and has clearly been refurbished recently and to a very high standard. i/we may well be back.....

3 great weeks

We stayed in the apartment for a 3 week break in March and found everything clean and the apartment well prepared upon arrival. There was a wow factor with the huge picture windows and the amazing views across Val d'isere. Particularly liked the view at night with the town, church, and La Face all lit up.The balacony was a real sun trap. The apartment was really spacious with 2 great size bedrooms, and large open plan living area. The addition of Sky TV and fast internet were extremly useful during our long stay. Would thoroughly recommend.

An excellent stay

We had a wonderful time in Val d'ISere and the flat played a major role on this. It is in the centre of the village- we did not move the car since the day we arrived, we could walk from home to lifts and restaurants. Although we have not met the owner in person, any communication we had with him was perfect. We met his contact in val d'ISere who was very helpful and even waited for us to arrive after midnight to give us the keys! The views are amazing, the flat is very new and modern and very clean. You would have to pay a fortune to have something similar in one of the local hotels. And in this case we had a lot more. Very safe and quiet. Will go again! Thank you both! I would say it is recommended for all group types, but the system does not allow me to select more than 5. Although there is a balcony, it is very safe for children, as we could not figure how to open the doors at the beginning and the handle is not reachable from a toddler's height!

Wonderful week

Stayed in this wonderful apartment very recently. Owner wasn't joking about the view! Great location for exploring this incredible area. Minutes away from the busy centre of town and all it has to offer. Try Reatuarant le 1789 and La Barague for excellent food only 200 meters away. The apartment has recently been updated and was very clean and comfortable. It is also very spacious for a ski apartment. Bedrooms come off a hall area making it ideal for people who like to stay up late or otherwise lie in without being disturbed by others. All claims made by owner are correct and I would have no reservations in recommending this apartment to others. We will renting it again next year!
