Perfect home away from home

We stayed here the memorial day weekend at it was absolutely wonderful. The house was well maintained and was constructed with premium materials. It was not far from all major attractions at deepcreek. The community pool was not open but is a 3mins drive. The Garrent county center is a 8min drive from the property.

Great place

Our group really enjoyed this house. The bedrooms were large with great bathrooms and the kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of seating for everyone at the kitchen table and counter. We enjoyed the back porch and fire pit as well. The house was very clean. Our kids loved the community pool and it was really close by. It’s about 20 minutes from deep creek lake state park. We did have to clean out the fire pit because it was full to the top with ash but that was the only thing we could comment on that we had to take care of.

This is a beautiful, clean and spacious home located in a lovely community.

Although we loved the home there were issues. The gas grill did not function properly and leaked propane which presented a serious safety issue. The rental agency had the leak fixed but the grill still fails to work properly. It needs repair/replacement. The community pool was not family friendly due to drinking and people allowing their dogs to run free and swim in the pool. The home has a pool table but the tips of the cue sticks were broken so we could not use it for fear of damaging the felt. The surrounding area is great for hiking, lake swimming and boating and there is plenty to keep an active family entertained. We will definitely return to Deep Creek Lake.

House was very nice, company we rented from was not

Very pretty house except the dishwasher didnt work most of the vacation, apparently a new one we installed and the forgot to attach the power cord, not sure how that got missed. Called vaca home center and it was fixed by Thursday day before we left. Also downstairs tv didn't work, that never got fixed, was very disa appointed in the rental company but the home was gorgeous. Weather didn't cooperate and we were there last week of off-season, no pool open and mountain closed. We made the best of it there are some really cool caves to explore, laurel caverns was excellent. Of all 7 home away vacations I've been on this was the bottom of them.

Amazing Weekend at The Wispy Rebellion!

We were simply blown away by our amazing weekend stay at the Wispy Rebellion in Deep Creek Maryland. Wispy Rebellion is simply fantastic - if your planning a weekend or even a week long getaway, you can stop reading now and book Wispy Rebellion before anyone else does - I can assure you, you'll be glad you did. If you want to hear more about our spectacular stay, you can continue reading. The Wispy Rebellion is settled up on top of the mountain in a nice, private, scenic little gated community which offers a great getaway and some nice privacy, yet it's still a stones throw from all the best Deep Creek has to offer. The house itself is simply geogeous. It's brand new and can only be described in one word: immaculate! It has everything you could want in a vacation rental. The kitchen and dining area are beautiful - plenty of room for preparing and enjoying a feast with family & friends. The kitchen is spacious - everything is brand new and top of the line. The dining room is perfect - the table is a perfect size for everyone to enjoy a big meal together - big enough for everyone to have plenty of space. The dining area opens up to an awesome deck with a great view of the forest. The deck is big with plenty of privacy for eating or enjoying some beverages on the deck. The living room is perfectly cozy for relaxing after a day of exploring, winter skiing/snowboarding or watersports in the summer. The gigantic windows let so much light in and provide a great view. The fireplace is awesome, the couches are super comfortable, the decore is adorable. You'll never want to leave. Each bedroom is nicer than the next - each has plenty of space and beautiful furniture and the bed was so super comfortable. Every bathroom is spotless with plenty of room and brand new fixtures, etc. The gameroom downstairs is an awesome cozy spot to hang out with friends and family - great for watching movies or the comfy couch or playing boardgames. And if you like games, you can play a game or several of pool or foosball down there. The gameroom leads to one of my favorite things about Wispy Rebellion - the hot tub. We spent several hours hanging out in the hot tub after a day of snowboarding - nothing feels better. I already mentioned, but Wispy Rebellion is literally 2 minutes from everything you could want in Deep Creek: 2 minutes to the mountain for skiing/snowboarding and 2 mins to the lake! And you can walk to hiking trails etc. Simply Amazing!
