We had a lovely stay at this property, the beds were comfy, the house was clean and a welcome light had been left on as we were arriving late at night.The weather was perfect and the house was in a good location to get out and explore.Would definitely recommend a stay here

Lovely villa on large plot

Good location - probably need a car unless happy to catch the very regular bus service. The plot is bigger than the pictures make it look. Pool is great. Would recommend.

Lovely holiday

We had an amazing stay in this villa. As all other say pictures do nit do it justice, so.upgrafes have been done for the better. The villa had everything and more. We recommend a car. This is a very quiet area and was great to unwind.

Excellent Villa

We had a lovely time staying here. Everything was as described in the advert. The pool was lovely and Everything was well maintained. We would highly recommend and we hired our own car, but there are plenty of buses too. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Beautiful Villa in a nice and quite neighborhood

We spend a great week in this beautiful villa. The House offers everything you need. The outside space is beautiful and the pool was great. The communication with Marie was very easy and nice. We will definitely book again.

Absolutely perfect

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The villa was well equipped with everything we needed, the beds were comfy, the aircon was essential and just perfect at night. The bbq was a lovely touch, the pool was the best we’ve had by far too. We hired a car so could travel to shops and Ayia napa. Such a lovely villa to stay at and we hope to return next year. Ayia Thekla Villa

This is a clean and well presented villa with everything you need for a stay away from home. The pool and grounds are well maintained on a weekly basis. The villa is very private even though there are other villas close by. It is in the very quiet residential area of Ayia Thekla and convenient to Zafiri bar and restaurant and small supermarket. A car is required for getting to larger supermarkets and the nearby Ayia Napa. The only issue is there is no safety deposit box and perhaps a hand rail for the stairs would be beneficial.We would highly recommend this property for a relaxing holiday and will definitely return.

Great Villa

Good size villa located 10 mins from Ayia Napa. Well kept gardens and pool, was cleaned twice in the week we were there. Nice area outside to bbq and have dinner. Air Conditioning throughout which makes it very comfortable. In a quiet residential estate but for us was a good location. It’s great to hang out by the pool, peaceful and not overlooked. The option of heading into town is available. Car not essential but probably easiest way to get about from here. I’d book again.

Aya Thekla Villa

Hi Marie, thank you for letting us stay at your lovely villa. We had a wonderful stay at this villa, lovely manicured gardens, 3 good sized bedrooms, big dining kitchen (not that you would sit in there when the outside dining and relaxing area under the pergola is amazing) great south facing gardens with a large pool to cool off in. I would advise a car although Taxis (use the Bolt app, same as Uber) are inexpensive approx Euro 15 into or back from Aya Napa. Marie, you really need to update your pictures as the current ones do not do your villa any justice. We would definately stay here again Many thanks

Nice house with perfect hosts

Spontaneously booked in Corona times we had a great vacation there. Communication with owner Marie and the property manager Wendy was always easy going, eventual problems (broken dishwasher) were solved immediately. House is in a holiday home area, so it depends on the neighbours how quiet it is (we had some party people across the road for the last two days, luckily not before). Everything (supermarket, beaches, restaurants) and the city of Agia Napa are just a short drive away. The pool is pretty shallow, good for kids, not so good for short swim, but it was very clean and managed twice a week. So we enjoyed a great stay on Cyprus.

Brilliant!

We had an amazing stay at this villa, in a quiet neighbourhood a short drive from Ayia Napa. As mentioned by another reviewer, the photos are actually a bit old and the property has since been improved even further (pergola now covers the whole back of the property, new TV, garden furniture, etc). Really good sized pool, shallow end is great for the kids and the deep end is plenty deep for adults as well. A selection of books, toys, pool toys and DVDs was available at the property. The hosts were fantastic, very friendly and highly responsive to answering any questions. All in all a wonderful stay and we'd definitely love to come back! Thanks

Excellent villa in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. The villa is fully air conditioned and well equipped (the water cooler is a huge bonus, and only 3 for the water). The outside space is amazing, plenty room round the pool and a lovely shaded veranda with outdoor dining and comfy seating. The pool is a great size and depth and really warm.Communication with Marie was excellent, both before we travelled and during our stay.The majority of the reviews say a car is required, but we went for 2 weeks without hiring one. The local supermarket is a 15 minute walk and 10 taxi home (the supermarket phoned one for us). For restaurants there is Zafiri next door to the supermarket, Nisakki is a 30 minute walk and Axartis and Demetrion both a 45 minute walk. The paths are wide and safe. Further afield we got taxis into the edge of Ayia Napa where there were about a dozen to chooses from. The only negative was the price of taxis. Georges taxi chages 25 to go to Sotira (worth going to Old Simas) and 25 to Ayia Napa - each way! There is a bolt app, like Uber. However prices can vary from 15 - 40 to go to or from the outskirts of Ayia Napa (we were a family of 5 so they were slightly more than the 4 seaters).

MARINA VILLA

We are a family of 4 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this villa. It was clean upon arrival and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The only reason I marked location down was because myself and the children wished we had been a little bit closer to the main town/local shops for ease of getting about. However, this is a personal preference as my husband loved the proximity of it, enjoying being out of the way and the peace quiet. This factor did not greatly affect our stay, we used local bus services and taxi's to get about as we had chosen not to hire a car. Communication was amazing from booking up until the holiday with Marie promptly replying to any questions and was generally very informative and helpful. Wendy, the villa housekeeper was also very friendly and helpful during our stay. Overall a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend.

Fabulous holiday

A wonderful villa with so much space inside and out. Great outdoor furniture with a lovely pool and gardens. The location is away from the main road so not much traffic noise. The neighbourhood is peaceful, the beach at Ayia Thekla is beautiful and the villa is a short drive into Ayia Napa so it was everything we wished it would be and we had a wonderful holiday. The villa was so well equipped, we met Wendy on our first day and although we didn’t need to contact her again we knew she was available at any time. The only problem we encountered was finding the villa in the early hours of the morning even though Maria had given us detailed instructions, it would have been a lot easier in daylight. Apologies again for having to contact Wendy in order to find the villa. We have been to Cyprus and stayed in a number of villas and locations but this is one we would definitely love to visit again. Great stay!

First of all communication even before we arrived was impeccable from Marie and even throughout our stay she was great. I think the longest I waited for a response was 2 hours!! When we arrived we were so happy on walking into the gardens/villa. Very quiet location (car is needed) but we walked to the local supermarket/ restaurant zafiri which was actually great food friendly staff and the shop has everything you need. If you walked past the shop towards the sea there is a great little cove. We didn't but I think you could spend the day there. The air con was great, pool cleaned regularly and very quiet at night. The ONLY negatives we would say is all the outside furniture needs replacing some of the chairs at the outside table are unable literally falling apart with bolts hanging out. The villa was clean apart from the floors we had to give them a clean ourselves. We would 100% go back without question my in laws loved it and honestly can't recommend it enough to anyone thinking of booking

Lovely villa, lovely stay

We were a family of 6 staying here for 3 weeks and had a very pleasant stay. The hosts are extremely helpful and very informative, anytime we had any questions they were very quick to respond. Wendy the cleaner was also available anytime we had any issues, and the very small issues we did encounter were dealt very quickly and did not affect our stay. There are 3 bedroom, 2 rooms with ensuites. Whilst they were slightly on the small size they were absolutely adequate for us personally. The gardeners come every 2 weeks and the pool was cleaned twice a week. The outside area is spacious and generally very clean. The villa is in a very upcoming area of Cyprus with Ayia Napas new marina very close by. The location is fairly quiet and so I would sugggest a vehicle to get a round more easily. The water park is a 5 minute drive as well as the very popular Makronissos beach, also only 5 to 10 mins drive too which is a beautiful beach with great water sport facilities too. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this villa to anyone! Thanks to Maria and Gary for being wonderful hosts. Stella and family

Week in April 25

Very nice villa, particularly the outdoor area, which made up for a relatively poor week’s weather. When the sun did shine it was lovely to sit around the pool on the outdoor furniture which is perfectly placed for ‘sundowners’. We liked the area, which is basically various clusters of reasonably new villas just off the main road to Nissi and Ayia Napa. So, lovely beaches just 5-10 mins drive away, without feeling like you’re in the heart of a busy resort. Grateful to Wendy for recommending that we try the restaurants in Sotira, which is a 10 minute drive away. They’re a bit better value and more authentic than those in Ayia Napa we felt. We particularly liked Old Simos and Taverna Mousikos. Finally, we also fell in love with one of the local cats that would visit the garden from time to time. A lovely, mild-mannered, black and white Tom-cat that we named ‘Marble’. We found him drinking out of the swimming pool one morning, so gave him a bowl of water instead. From that point on, he would be on the veranda every time we woke up or when we came back to the villa after a day out. Although, he’d never try to get into the villa as he seemed to know the rules. If you do choose to go to this villa, look out for him. He’s a bit scruffy, probably a stray but give him a bit of care and affection, and maybe a few nibbles, and you’ll have a lovely holiday pet.

2 wk Family Holiday

Just returned from a 2 wk stay in this air conditioned villa and we had a fab time . The villa is really lovely and the current photos don't do it justice. Outdoor space is fantastic with built in BBQ , lovely gardens , outdoor dining area ,lovely relaxing area with sofas under covered pergola ,good size pool & outdoor shower. The pool was cleaned several times during our stay. There are 6 good quality loungers and 2 large parasols which were much needed on a few of the very hot days. There are 3 good sized bedrooms - 2 doubles and 1 twin.The kitchen is well equipped and the water cooler was a nice bonus. Good wifi , we had no issues with it bufffering and there were 6 of us. There are lots of DVDs and a large box of books. The villa is situated just off the main road, close to the bus stop however we did hire a car at airport. The local supermarket sells everything you need and we visted Zafiri restaurant twice and found it to be good. The couple who look after the villa checked in on us twice during our stay , Wendy recommended some local restaurants and things to see/do and Gerry immediately sorted a small issue with a toilet/ drain. Communication with the owner Marie was excellent. No hesitation in recommending this villa , and would hope to return. My only recommendation is that the downstairs bedroom would also benefit from a black out blind similar to the upstairs rooms. All round we had a fabulous 14 nights - Thank you.

The outside space was beautiful and spacious.

The villa itself was very small especially for 6 adults. The villa was very tired looking and lacked wardrobe space as they were locked. The 3rd bedroom is like a small study it’s not fit for two adults. There was no safe to put any valuables such as passports etc. The showers are very small and I mean small if you Locked your fingers and put your hands on the back of your head with your elbows out they will touch both walls. The showers also leak all over the floor into your bedroom so your using your towels to clean up the mess Your better off using the shower outside less mess to clean up. The internet was extremely poor the worst I’ve had since coming to Cyprus for the last 6 years I had more speed on my data so if your planning on working like I like was then ensure you have other means to connect. The TV only had netflicks DVD player was broke I loaded IPTV to the TV but because of the internet it buffered a lot wasn’t able to watch anything. When I booked the villa my first communication with the owner was I wasn’t aloud parties as it’s a quite neighbourhood which I thought was a rude assumption just because my kids were in there 20s. But guess what there was a party every night in the villa over the road. The worst things about the villa was the infestation of Ants in the house didn’t matter how much powered you put down they found there way in. Wasn’t until the last few days that actually they were in the sofa. For the money there is better villas which are situated better I did over 1200 kilometres in my car that I hired for two weeks. You have nothing in walking distance.

Hi Kevin Sorry you didn't enjoy your stay but as this is the first negative review we have received I would like to address your points. Regarding wardrobe space, there are six double wardrobes in the villa, of which we lock only one for our personal items. The third bedroom is exactly the same dimensions as the other two. Bathmats are provided for all shower floors, and whilst the two en-suite showers are small you can always use the main bathroom shower if you prefer. Regarding the internet, we have never had a problem with it and have used it for work. The DVD player was in full working order when you arrived as far as we were concerned but there is a spare one available for use if you had mentioned it to Wendy our cleaner. I politely asked the ages of your party when you first booked as an all adult party, as per our booking guidelines. There was no assumption regarding your children's ages as you hadn't told me at that point!!!! As for ants, Cyprus is a hot country and you cannot leave food uncovered. Again, you didn't mention this to the cleaner who would have been able to assist you at the time. I am sorry you travelled so extensively in your car. Cyprus is 240km from one side to the other so you must have crossed the island six times?There is a local supermarket and a couple of restaurants less than a mile away, plus the villa is on a bus route. We always make clear that the villa is in a quiet suburb but Aya Napa is only a short drive away.

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances à Chypre. Cette villa est très agréable pour se retrouver en famille. Bien décorée, elle contient tout ce qu'il faut pour passer de bons moments sans prise de tête. Nos enfants ont passé énormément de temps dans la piscine. En cas de question, les propriétaires sont très réactifs et Wendy, qui est sur place, est également disponible. Agréable aussi d'avoir un emplacement pour notre voiture. Nous recommandons cet endroit à 100% :-)

Conveniently located villa in a small development

This villa is conveniently located for all kinds of amenities - supermarkets, restaurants, beaches, bars and downtown Ayia Napa itself. On arrival, we found the villa to be clean, inside and out. For the four of us that stayed, we found there to be plenty of room to spread out on the large patio area and the pool was just right. Although there are properties on all sides, we never felt overlooked and, therefore, was sufficiently private. Continuing outside, there was sufficient seating provided in the covered patio area with a sizeable table. The sunbeds were a little 'tired' with one being unusable owing to the headrest mechanism being damaged. Also, we had a couple of gusty days which 'uprooted' the umbrellas from their stands which were, again, quite worn. However, this didn't detract from how comfortable and peaceful we found it during our stay. Inside, the property provides a well equipped kitchen area and a large living room, as well as a good sized cloakroom and a twin bedroom with showering. Upstairs, 2 bedrooms - one double and one twin (would've preferred x2 doubles), one of which has it's own showering facility and the other is served by a separate bathroom. Showers worked well and there was always plenty of hot water. What we found peculiar was that there was no bannister to the leading flight of stairs given that the polished flooring material is slippery, worse if wet. Overall though, a great villa with well maintained gardens and pool area, and we would definitely recommend it for location, cleanliness and facilities. Wendy, the housekeeper was brilliant during our stay and was accessible whenever we needed to contact her. Thank you for a great holiday!

A great place in the sun.

The property was exactly as presented in the photos. A great size, both in the house and in the garden with a good sized pool. In a good location to reach all the sandy beaches. Wendy was a phone call away incase of any queries. Very highly recommended.

Fabulous villa

A lovely villa just outside Ayia Napa .. we stayed in this villa last year .. it was so nice I booked it again and it didn’t disappoint .. pool is lovely villa is clean with everything you need to make your stay a great one .. the villa is in a quiet location so it’s chill time around the pool .. you won’t be disappointed ..

We love Ayia Thekla because of the amazing contrasts in the area. Whilst you are only 5km from central Ayia Napa with its numerous bars and restaurants, you are also only a stone’s throw from the “real” Cyprus and small rural villages. The Troodos mountains are less than an hour away, and Larnaca airport approximately 35 minutes away.

Waterworld, the island’s best waterpark, is a 3 minute drive and the famous Nissi beach only 5 minutes.
