We had a great stay with the family. The location is idyllic and the pool is amazing. The house is well furnished, and Balthazar was very communicative, which was great for those last-minute questions before arriving.We had a lovely time and would happily return.

Beautiful Arrabida

Excellent. Lovely setting, great view and lovely garden and pool. Parts of house, kitchen and upstairs bathroom, very small but otherwise a super house. Host very communicative and helpful.

A very memorable stay

We had an amazing week at the property. Fantastic location with breathtaking views. Very good communication with the owner. I would recommend the area of Sesimbra to anybody to visit. The house was very comfortable with all we needed being a family with kids and having friends with us. Fantastic pool, great patio, surrounded by the mountains. Great area for nature lovers and hikers. Beautiful beaches around. Area not crowded at all. Fantastic local food anywhere you go. We would love to come back next year.

Great villa with great service

The property was well appointed ( small kitchen but not an issue for us) with a big pool overlooked by amazing scenery. The villa was clean and big enough for a group of 5, and close to Azeitao which is a nice little village with good wine and some good restaurants- supermarkets are also near. The host was very attentive and made sure that all of our needs were met, and checked on us during our stay. We visited in early June and the house loses the sun at 7ish; however there were big blankets in the house if we got chilly. All in all, we highly recommend it.

We came back the third time to this beautiful location. I think the location and mountain view are stunning, however the house is small and facilities not ideal (very small kitchen, old bathroom with drainage not working properly, which causes smell). Baltazar is extremely helpful and responsive when contacted, but he is not living in the area, and maintenance of the facilities is not as well managed as in places we stayed where the hosts are more actively involved/present.

Dear Andrea: Except for a two day period in ten years when some improper materials were thrown in the wc cloging the pipe the house never had reported smells. The bathrooms cover is not old:they are covered with traditional old style tiles handpainted. Their equipment is brand new. The kitchen is small( has reported in the site)but there is an annex in the back with a large freezer and a large fridge and large space for breakfast. Thank you .

Great location and setting

The property had the most amazing setting and great grounds with views of the hills. Pool was also a great size. Well equipped house. Grrat location with lots to do. The house itself, particularly the kitchen, was smaller than expected, with the twin bedroom essentially leading off the kitchen. Half size dishwasher not really big enough for regular home cooking for family of 4. Worth noting narrow spiral stair case to master bedroom which might be an issue for someone with mobility issues. Had a great 2 weeks at the house.

Also, we would like to let you know that houses located in the natural park are subject to rules that strongly limit the characteristics and in particular the dimensions of each house. This house maintains the Portuguese tradition of this wonderful region. In the reconstruction of bathrooms we even used hand-painted tiles according to 17th century techniques. You are always welcomed to this wonderful scenery full of peace and beauty

Amazing family holidays

We spent a wonderful week at house, enjoying the indeed breathtaking view and beautiful nature. The pool and outdoor space are perfect, the house is good for 4, but due to the small size of the kitchen and living room, probably a bit tight for 6. The bathroom appliances and pipes are old and block easily (toilet paper needs to be discarded in the bin), which was ok for us but might be a no-go for other guests. It’s clearly the luxury of the garden, not the luxury of the inside space you are coming for! Baltazar is very helpful and prompt in replying. Thanks a lot for this wonderful stay!

Wonderful week with family

We had a wonderful week, the location/view is stunning and the pool area is beautiful, like on the pictures. The house is nice and clean, although relatively basic, with a very small kitchen and rather old bathrooms. We were unlucky that the sewage drains broke down after 2 days, leading to flooding, intense smell and a nonfunctional toilet. Baltazar was very helpful and organised plumbers to come urgently and eventually after 3 days of building work the problem was fixed. This was naturally not a great experience during our holidays, but we very much appreciated the good communication with Baltazar and his immediate action. Overall we still much enjoyed our stay, such a wonderful place; with some renovation work in the bathrooms, the house would get 5 stars from us.

Super séjour

Nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances dans cette magnifique maison. La vue est tout simplement splendide. La piscine est très grande et très agréable. Le terrain de foot a été un plus pour nos enfants ! La maison est confortable et la climatisation permet de mieux supporter la chaleur estivale. La région est chouette à visiter avec notamment des très belles plages préservées. Merci beaucoup à Baltazar pour l’accueil et les attentions. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés.

un endroit merveilleux

Nous avons passé 1 semaine dans ce petit coin de paradis. Nous avons eu l'impression d'être loin de tous, mais proche de tout, avec pour seule vue le magnifique parc naturel de Arrabida. La maison est fonctionnelle, la piscine incroyable, et la vue tout simplement magnifique. Merci à Baltazar pour sa gentille intention à notre arrivée (un panier garni nous attendait). Nous y reviendrons très certainement repasser des vacances en famille !

Petit coin de paradis à 45 min de Lisbonne

Dans la verdure tout en étant proche des plages et des commerces, idéal pour visiter cette région magnifique...ou bronzer au bord de la piscine et ne rien faire !

August at a villa in Arrabida Natural Park

The setting of the villa is stunning. The pool is large and beautiful with plenty of sun beds. The villa is clean and cool in the heat. The kitchen is small but there is a large fridge and freezer in the Annexe. The washing machine and dishwasher are easy to use. Azeitao is 5 mins up the road and has a Lidl and Intermache. It also has some great restaurants at decent prices. We had hoped to take advantage of the walks in the Natural park from the doorstep of the villa but it was too hot

Propriedade localizada na serra da Arrábida. Para quem aprecia uma estadia relaxante no meio da natureza, com vistas deslumbrantes e com todo o conforto e privacidade, mas ao mesmo tempo próximo da praia e de serviços/comércio, é o ideal.
