Cette escapade au lac a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©cemment rĂ©novĂ©e et conçue pour impressionner! C'est le choix parfait pour une escapade romantique ou des vacances de sĂ©rĂ©nitĂ© et de luxe. Vous profiterez d'une belle vue sur le lac depuis les fenĂȘtres ouvertes qui bordent l'arriĂšre de la maison sur la magnifique terrasse. De plus, c'est la seule maison qui se trouve juste sur la plage! Nous offrons Ă©galement une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite au Captain Ron's, mais aucun n'est disponible dans l'unitĂ©. Il y a deux chambres pour accueillir confortablement jusqu'Ă  quatre personnes. Great stay! House was very quiet inside and we didn’t hear a thing after we went to bed. Communication with host was very prompt and house was neat and clean with everything that we needed.

Great Lake location

We chose because of location next to Captain Ron’s bar and the house is right on the lake with a sand beach, not far from Pirates Pointe where we rented a pontoon. We had a relaxing and comfortable time there and visited lots of area restaurants including The Cave Bar with pools and businesses as well.

Very nice location

We've stayed at this house many times in the past. We like the location and convenience of being next to Captain Ron's. The house needs some updating to keep it fresh and in better condition. More towels would be good. But overall, we would recommend this house and will probably book more stays here in the future.

Great location!

Third time staying at property, it’s a great location! Perfect for family who was camping at Scallywags RV park to visit at the house. Was able to use boat dock in front of house with the boat we rented. Only downfall this time we rented was the tent behind house/deck obstructed our view of the lake/beach area. :( Made it hard to see kids/family/friends when they were swimming compared to years past.

Great location

It was a nice house located a very short distance from Captain Ron’s who had wonderful good and the scenery was awesome.

Good for parties, absolutely no privacy whatsoever.

All weekend long we heard the door slamming underneath of us where a public bathroom is located in the basement. The beach is covered in duck and geese poop. Sunday morning we woke up to a church service being held directly outside the back door with microphone and dj speakers. None of this was disclosed to us beforehand. Absolutely no privacy anytime throughout weekend.

A bit overpriced for what you get...

Positives: Overall clean enough, A/C worked good, good location, Captain Ron's is fun. Negatives: Property has been used hard, could use updating/repairs. Roof and windows leak in places (interior paint peeling away from the moisture). This is a party house (if that is what you are into, and there is nothing wrong with that!). Last year, we paid less for an entire remodeled house on the lake two coves away that was clean as a whistle and very nice. We need to reserve our rental property earlier for next year...

The property is right on the lake which was perfect for us as I could sit on the deck and watch my grandson swim or walk down and swim with him. The property was clean and very nice. We would definately come back when the time presents itself.

10 Year Anniversary

We were married at this exact house in June 2011 & so we decided to celebrate our anniversary where it all began to say that we were in total shock upon arrival was an understatement the house is the exact same no renovations no updates even the same sofas beds etc is in the exact same place kind of gave us that bedbug feeling seeing the same comfort set from 10yrs ago but my husband & I made the best of it the only difference/change that was made from 2011-2021 was keyless entry was added I was tickled looking at the same shower curtain & so shocked that I had to go back & look at pictures to make sure I wasn’t dreaming again we made the best out of our stay by using tons of Lysol/disinfectant spray bleach wipes etc first experience at the lake this location is great Captain Ron’s is nice the view is nice the people are nice & you’ll enjoy yourself but this house is a no for me & we will not rent again until we see some updates at least replace the rusted racks in the fridge and purchase new silverware etc I thinks this is now just a money thing because it seems as if the owners are not passionate about this rental or the upkeep of this property!

Do not stay at this property

When we arrived at the property it was later in the evening and the sun has gone down. We pulled up to the property and it was very dark. As we walked down the side of th property you could not see in front of you where you were stepping or the steps at the end. There were two motion flood lights at the door but the did not work. My husband, who is 55, was carrying in our luggage as was I, and he tripped and twisted his ankle. We finally got in and an overwhelming smell of mold and mildew filled the house. It was very unpleasant. We opened the three sets of sliding glass doors which all had lights above them, but not one of them worked. We finished unloading our car and got settled. We went to lock all the doors and the sliding glass door off the kitchen did not lock. The lock was broken. I called the number provided to us as a contact for any issues and spoke with a lady who said her name was Cheryl. I explained the door was not locking and she said it had been working and I told her we literally just got there 15 minutes prior and it is not locking. She was very rude and and in a condescending tone asked me what did I want her to do for me. The stores were closed and we would have to wait until the next day. I told her we paid for a safe and secure property and something needed to be done. We tried putting a broom per her instructions in the bottom of the door track but it was plastic and just bent. She asked if she could call me back. She called and said she had a metal rod that may work but it was going to be at least 20 minutes and did I realize it was 10 pm. I said yes and I would see her soon. She arrived and without a hello, how are you? or I’m so sorry for the inconvenience, she very quickly put the rod in the door and it was secured. My husband told her we had. I outside lighting whatsoever and she again said they had been working. We asked about the fireplace that was in the living room and how to use it and she said NO!!! You can’t use it. That would be very bad. None of the fireplaces in our properties are to be used. The house was not clean. The two small loveseats in the living room were old and uncomfortable. The house is not in terrible condition but it definitely had not been disinfected as advertised and we paid additional fees for that to be done. I have a lot of photos showing the filth. There was SO much false Arby’s one for this property.

Parents at the lake

We brought my wife's Mom and her friend down to enjoy the lake. It was great weather and we were able to take them out on the boat. This place was easy for them to get to and close to us.

Party house

My daughter and her 2 kids and I stayed during the weekend. It didn’t have a stopper for the tub. It only had 2 big towels and a hand towel. Half the blinds did not work. We had 1 and 1/2 rolls of toilet paper for all 4 of us. All the outside lights did not work. I tried to contact the owners twice and they never got back to me. This house is right by Captain Ron’s but that didn’t bother us as there was a boat show and it was nice scenery. This house is more for party going people who don’t spend a lot of time in the house. I wouldn’t stay here again. It did have a nice deck and beautiful view but that is it.

The house was nice enough. The beach area is not maintained, and there are goose droppings over half of the beach. There really is not a true private swimming area. In reality, it is a dock area where you can wade in the water. Didn't see any COVID 19 related signage.
