A magical place in a spectacular location! We wanted to keep it secret - seals, fires at night, quiet and peacefulperfect. Great communication by everyone, we would love to return.

We had a wonderful time staying at Pier Cottage, it surpassed our expectations. The place itself is great and set in a beautiful location. The local environment is wonderful and so full of great places to spend time. Beaches and mountains, good pubs, historical sites. Katherine welcomed us and was easy to contact if we needed anything. We loved it and would love to come again.

We had the most amazing time. The cottage is beautiful, the surroundings are exceptional. We had a lovely welcome from Mark. Then when we had car trouble and were a bit stuck, they couldn't have been more helpful. Kids loved it too, beautiful place. Thank you for everything, we hope to return one day!

It was extraordinary. I woke up to seals basking on the rocks. The view of the water right out front was always spectacular. The fireplace is large and woodburning. I could easily wash and dry my clothes while cooking dinner in the full kitchen. Catherine and Michael were so helpful and pleasant!

Beautiful spot! We wanted to get away from it all and this was perfect! Close enough to drive to attractions but far enough away from it all! Had everything we needed. Katherine was lovely and the meals we ordered that were left were delicious!

We absolutely loved our stay at Pier Cottage! It was truly the highlight of our trip to Ireland - the scenery and views are incredible and it was so peaceful. The seals visited in the morning, the stars and moon peeked through the clouds at night and the wood fire gave us warmth and atmosphere every night. Katherine provided sound sound advice and great recommendations in the area too. A beautiful and historic spot!

We had a wonderful week in Pier Cottage East End, the location is stunning and despite the somewhat stormy weather we didn't want to come home!

Very nice stay. Cozy. Beautiful scenery, and we enjoyed seeing the seals. The beds are a tad bit uncomfortable and left us all sore.

Lovely cottage, wonderful setting

What an absolutely beautiful place. There is a wealth of information left describing the best places to visit but you don't have to go far- the views from the property are jaw-dropping. Will definitely stay again!

Lovely Cottage Retreat!

Visited from the US. It was a fantastic location for a remote cottage right on the Ring of Kerry. Many beautiful excursions within an hour drive. Gorgeous hikes very close too! Enjoyed our stay and our wonderful host!

Lovely seaside cottage

5 days at this lovely cottage was the highlight of our Ireland trip. The location is amazing, quiet and full of beauty around. Katherine gave us a warm welcome and was quick to offer us good day trip suggestions. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would love to come back anytime ❤️

This cottage was so dreamy and was easily the highlight of our entire Irish vacation. The location just couldn’t be better for sightseeing and immersing yourself into the area. On a stormy, windy night, we built a fire, made dinner, and were incredibly cozy. The next morning was clear and beautiful as we walked outside to take in the breathtaking scenery. Despite the rural setting, there are plenty of things nearby — groceries, restaurants, pubs, etc. My family loved our nights in, and the cottage had everything we needed. I hope we get to visit the area again and, if we do, I know where we will be staying.

Wonderful stay in Castle Cove

It was great stay at Piers Cottage... Place is in middle of ring of Kerry which allows you to plan your trip around the route during the day and comes back in time for relax back at the cottage...Viewpoint is awesome... Luckily we got a full sunny day during our stay in Feb'25... Thanks for all the hospitality and we will love to visit again for sure...

Absolutely stunning views

My husband and I were looking for a rustic cottage to stay at while we were in Ireland and this cottage was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed and the fireplace was great to come back after a day in the rain. The seals out on the rocks were great to see every morning and the view was breath taking . I would recommend anyone to stay here we had a wonderful vacation.

Amazing holiday

We enjoyed an amazing week in East Pier cottage. The location is idyllic and scenary amazing. Perfect for exploring the ROK, we cycled, hikes and walked the mountains and hills. Thamks Susan ah and Catherine for sharing your likktle bit of heaven

Very Special

The East-end cottage was all we'd hoped for: cozy, peaceful, comfortable, clean plus all the amenities to make it "home away from home." We saw seals, stars and the beautiful scenery. We were fortunate to have sunny days, and stormy nights. The cottage was a perfect base for touring the region. It's a wonderful, truly special place.

Stunning location - exceeded our expectations.

The cottage was snug and had everything we needed. The "host" met us twice and was exceptionally helpful she also cooked us two meals prior to our arrival. We greatly enjoyed the ever-changing light and clouds, a landscaped photographers paradise, and the cottage was well placed to explore many fascinating places. The dog also loved it.

WOW What a beautiful setting

The setting is idyllic and what a perfect start to every day. Greeting the seals and enjoying the serene atmosphere resulted in INSTANT relaxation. It is a bit off the beaten path but fulfilled and even exceeded every expectation.

Perfect location

We spent three nights at Pier cottage. We loved every minute of it. Booking process and direction information perfect, we were kept well informed. Property clean, cosy and very comfortable. Lovely welcome from Katherine, full of local advice. It's a superb location, great views and right at the waters edge. We had two dogs with us who thought they were in heaven. We will visit again.
