Perfect location

This property was fantastic overall, perfect location on the busy Wenceslas square , close to everything, a short walk to the old town. The property had everything we needed and worked out great, even with the 50 steps up to our floor.

Fabulous apartment

We thoroughly enjoyed our short break. The apartment is ideally located to explore the city. It is clean and modern but retains character. The shower and kitchen area are faultless and the owner easy to deal with. We felt secure with the owners father living next door.

Excellent location in the centre of Prague. Host’s parents next door were very friendly. It’s a walk up 2 flights of stairs to a good sized apartment. We really liked it.

Wonderul holiday home

The location on Wenceslas Square was fantastic - the sites and train station are all within walking distance. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and a walkin shower with heated floors. We did have problems with our phone, so needed assistance from the generous owner of the Tea House in the courtyard who called the apartment owner on our behalf to let us in. Would highly recommed this accommodation.

Lovely apartment!

This apartment is gorgeous! Very clean & attractive. And has all you could need for your stay, & more! The window opens right onto Wenceslas Square, which had its perks! But it was also quite loud at night, especially since we needed the window open for the cool air. If you enjoy being in the middle of everything, this is a great location! Just bring some earplugs 🤗

Best place to stay for your Prague trip!

I stayed here for almost two weeks to visit the city and had a great time. The host responded quickly to questions and was very friendly & helpful. Check-in was very fast and covered all the apartment amenities. This is a residential location right on Wenceslas square—you can’t find a better place! It’s a few minutes walk from Mustek metro station and several minutes walk to Old Town and other popular sightseeing locations. The property description accurately describes the apartment and all the amenities. Wi-fi was good. Overall, it is a quiet and safe location - great for a smaller family or solo traveler (bed in loft and Murphy bed), though it can accomodate more people if needed. The apartment has helpful info on getting around and guides in the desk drawers. The host did demonstrate all the keys during check-in, but would suggest you actually unlock/lock courtyard door to square during check-in with host. Everything works fine, but you have to push hard on the courtyard door to unlock and close it at night. There are lots of options for cafes, restaurants, and shopping. Small grocery stores are on the square and also there is Alberts in the Mustek metro station. This was a quiet and excellent place to stay for vacation!

Wenceslas Square is great place to stay

The location of this apartment is prime, the kitchen is great, and the family of the host was very nice. Linens were nice. The interior of the apartment looks exactly like the pictures. The downsides are that the entrance to the apartment is in an alley. That alley is locked after 8pm and the gate is HORRIBLE. I legitimately was locked outside looking like a fool for 15 minutes before I gave up and texted the owner’s family to come open it and then he even had trouble opening it. After that I made a point to not be out past close, which was really inconvenient, but I didn’t want to deal with the gate again. That same alley is a trash collection point for for businesses and other apartments, which is kind of gross. While I understand that this isn’t against VRBO’s policies, but with VRBO advertising a whole home every time, I really didn’t like having to walk through a shared space that belonged to the owner’s family to get to the apartment. I also understand they were trying to be hospitable, but I’m relatively introverted, so I cared how often the owner’s family interacted with me, but other people won’t I’m sure. I also thought having a picture of the owner with his wife and kids in front of one of the beds was awkward and kind of weird. The owner was willing to allow me to invite a friend to stay over a few nights, but after the friend was there and saw that they would have to walk past a wall of windows that looked into the living room of the owner’s family, they said they didn’t want to. Owner’s family also asked me about my relationship status with my friend, which I found intrusive.

Thank you Jason for taking a time to make such extensive review which I appreciate. All of your comments have been taken on board. I am glad that you have liked the apartment overall. We have been working up and above to make this accommodation as comfortable as possible for most guests. I would like to shine a light on some of the comments that you have made. - The majority of the refusal area downstairs is being used by the business over which we have no control of , however we have been in contact with City of Prague and the management company requesting an improvement in this matter. - We have asked a maintenance company to look into the issue with street gate which being used by all residence as well as related business even when locked. - in terms of the lay out of the apartment: Commonly all these apartments have an entrance from a hallway corridor where you you pass by your neighbours before entering self contained dedicated accommodation. This a typical design of these houses, having said that I understand for some with a lack of knowledge of local architecture may find this unusual. I reckon no one was forcing you to peek into somebody else’s windows regardless of where they are located. - I believe it is a valid question to ask about and relation status of an previously unscheduled quest who stayed with you proximately half of your visit. A specially when you have hired the place for yourself only. This a highly valued apartment which has been in our family over 60 years so naturally, I would like to know who is staying there. - I would like to add when you hire a someones home you kind of expect to come across some of the owner’s belongings such as a family photo. I admit, I found your comment about us our children in the photo rather disrespectful. Perhaps once you become a family man yourself you will understand what I mean. Taking in account what you have written I would recommend to you to opt in for a hotel where you would minimise dealing with these aspects. Thank you Jason for taking a time to make such extensive review which I appreciate. All of your comments have been taken on board. I am glad that you have liked the apartment overall. We have been working up and above to make this accommodation as comfortable as possible for our guests.

The location was perfect! Easy to walk to Old Town. Metro steps from the door. It was clean and well stocked. The host was helpful with questions about the best way to get around. If I were going back I would pack earplugs. The restaurant below often had crowds there very late. The noise, added to jet lag, meant a lack of sleep. But otherwise it was really perfect!
