Charmant chalet confortable dans un endroit magnifique et paisible à la lisière des bois, à seulement 5 minutes des plages et de toutes les commodités. Grand salon confortable avec poêle à bois, trois canapés (un canapé-lit), table à manger et quatre chaises, TV, lecteur DVD etc. Premier panier complet de journaux fourni gratuitement. Cuisine complète avec plaque de cuisson, four, réfrigérateur, micro-ondes, grille-pain, bouilloire et cafetière. Beaucoup d'équipement pour cuisiner et manger. Salle de bain. Congélateur et machine à laver dans le hall plus table et chaises pliants extra.

A l'étage - 2 chambres doubles - un lit double avec matelas en mousse à mémoire, grande fenêtre Velux donnant sur les arbres, deuxième chambre à coucher 2 lits simples et lavabo. Hall avec tiroir.

A l'extérieur - Jardin extérieur clôturé et Aire de pique-nique et Barbecue.

Really sweet little cottage in a quiet little spot within the grounds of the owners house. Extremely dog friendly which was perfect for us as we took 3!Immaculately clean with everything you need. Loved the log burner which made it very cosy. The island itself is small but has a fair few places to eat/drink and a short ferry crossing to Largs which was easy but a little pricey. Overall we loved our trip and would definitely recommend.

Perfect quirky cottage with everything you will need to have a great time, it is pet friendly and really clean,quiet. The manager/owner June is always available and helpful to the extreme, this holiday unit is a must for all if your looking for an enjoyable holiday.

Home from home

Had a great time at the Hobbit Cottage. We went for a relaxing holiday and got what we went for. Accommodation and weather were great. The cottage has everything you need to make your stay feel like a home from home 🏡. Thanks to June and the dogs who made us feel so welcome, we will hopefully be returning next year. Ps Mags and Baillie loved the fenced in garden.

Pet Friendly Cottage

Spent a lovely few days at the Hobbit Cottage. It has a dog friendly garden and it is a short walk to Kames Bay. You can access the Cathedral of the Isles from the end of the cul-de-sac which takes less than 5 minutes. The cottage is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. June, our host, was very attentive and you only had to ask if you needed anything.

Though we didn't have a pet, it seemed very dog friendly, food and water dishes, secure garden etc. Host was helpful and friendly, comfy cottage, well equipped kitchen and really comfy beds. Small private sitting area as well as garden .A small , but steep incline on road up to location, if you have walking difficulties .We are In our 70s and was fine.

Excellent home from home

June is so lovely, friendly & went out of her way to help…cottage is a real home from home with everything required to make your stay very comfortable….lovely secluded garden which would have been perfect for our nervous dog but weather was not kind enough to allow us to enjoy. Next time highly recommend hoping to return soon

Hobbit cottage

This property is perfect for a few days away, close to all amenities if you require them. I was there with my sister and my dog and it was just right for us. Beautiful walks, and beaches for the dog to run about. Very comfortable and has everything you need.

Wonderful Break!

Cosy, peaceful, quirky cottage with its own private garden. Very spacious for us two, there is another bedroom with two single beds for additional family to join. Lots of kitchen equipment, DVD's and log burning fire etc for rainy days! Lovely host!
