Cottage Coedmor, Parc National Snowdonia, Barmouth, Pays de Galles

Le Coedmor Cottage est situé dans les jardins de la maison principale. Le tout sur un seul niveau, il est chauffé centralement et offre un hébergement trÚs confortable pour deux / trois personnes tout au long de l'année.

Le hall d'entrĂ©e, avec une salle de douche adjacente, mĂšne Ă  la cuisine / salle Ă  manger bien Ă©quipĂ©e, avec une cuisiniĂšre Ă©lectrique, petit rĂ©frigĂ©rateur congĂ©lateur et micro-ondes. GrĂące au salon confortable, il y a un poĂȘle Ă  bois et la tĂ©lĂ©vision. Depuis le salon, la grande chambre Ă  coucher, avec salle de bains, a un lit double et un lit simple.

L'extérieur est une terrasse fermée, donnant sur les jardins, et un parking privé pour une voiture.

Il n’ya pas de connexion haut dĂ©bit dans le chalet et, en raison de la localisation du signal en milieu rural, le signal mobile peut ĂȘtre variable en fonction de votre rĂ©seau. Un grand nombre de cafĂ©s et de bars locaux de Barmouth et de Dolgellau offrent une connexion haut dĂ©bit gratuite.

SituĂ© Ă  deux miles de Barmouth sur la route de Dolgellau, c'est l'endroit idĂ©al pour la marche, la pĂȘche, l'observation des oiseaux ou tout simplement se dĂ©tendre. Il est facilement accessible des plages de sable fin et des paysages spectaculaires de Snowdonia.

Des serviettes et des draps sont fournis. Un feu sera préparé pour l'éclairage à l'arrivée.

Enjoyed our stay at Coedmor Cottage as all rooms are on the ground floor. We had to be extremely careful on entering or leaving the site in the car as it was on a sharp bend in a 40 mph area.

Very dusty and obviously had not been used for a while as it smelt of damp. The number of spiders was overwhelming! We know it is the country - we live in the country too - but a good dusting and brushing into corners would have helped. We went out and bought some spray on second day and did not see another one after. Also the courtyard was off-putting. Needed weeding and a little bit of housekeeping, such as removing dead hanging baskets from around door etc. Shame as the place was quiet and a perfect size for two. It just felt tired and neglected.

Lovely Cottage

The hosts have thought of everything and we had a lovely break. The cottage had everything you need and is quiet and secluded. The surrounding area is great for walks and just relaxing. Perfect!

We had a great time in the area, cycling to Barmouth and eating at the George III Inn. The cottage was clean and secluded. Note: you'll need to bring oil/butter, milk, etc.

We didn’t want to leave!

After having a nightmare journey getting there (roadworks and 3-hour tailbacks on motorway) it was so worth it and the welcome we received from Zarina and Chris was perfect . The cottage was beautiful, very clean and had a great vibe to it. It was excellently situated and we had many lovely days out, using Coedmor Cottage as our base. The little courtyard garden was an added bonus and much star-watching ensued! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this delightful property to anyone and we will definitely be coming back at some point.

Not a very comfortable place to be. Would never go again. The bed is an absolute nightmare so uncomfortable. Do you ever clean the windows.

Perfect Base for venturing further afield

Coedmor is a collection of converted stone buildings set within a wooded area outside the small town of Barmouth. The cottage was quiet and cozy and was the perfect base to tour the surrounding Snowdonia National Park.

A magic little place

1 bedroom cottage

Wow what can i say but fantastic. What a beautiful cottage in great location great scenery 5 minute drive into barmouth and a great taxi service called pogs if you dont want to drive and fancy a few drinks in barmouth and some food then leave the car behind. The cottage is a great place to stay with your best half like i did with my wife,very spacious beautiful garden to the rear and plenty of places to go for a walk close by so we would 💯 recommend to stay at coedmor holiday cottage as we will be booking again thanks to the property owners.

Quiet Getaway

Loved the gardens and the local cat who visited us while we enjoyed coffee outside. Zarina was super welcoming and friendly. The only difficult part was pulling out of the driveway on busy street, while using the fish-eye mirrors to detect oncoming traffic. It took faith and practice. Luckily, all went well.

Coedmor Cottage is situated about two miles from Barmouth . It is a beautiful well equipped cottage and we had a very relaxing, enjoyable and comfortable stay there . Zarina and Chris are great hosts and provided everything we needed for a perfect break .

Coedmor was built in the late 18th century. Located on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, the main house and Two stone holiday cottages stand in an acre of landscaped gardens overlooking the Mawddach Estuary with magnificent views to the Cadair Idris mountain range.

We also have a traditional fisherman's cottage situated in Barmouth Harbour. A perfect location for a romantic break with miles of sandy beaches and cosy inns on your doorstep.

Cader Cottage is located in the heart of the historic market town of Dolgellau, at the base of the Cadair Idris Mountain Range. This traditional 3-storey stone built cottage is an ideal place for that Welsh Retreat.
