Casa Rosa est une villa moderne et bien équipée avec une piscine privée.
Une grande terrasse couverte avec des meubles de repos, une pergola pour les repas et un pavage entourant la piscine et la villa qui offre des bains de soleil ou de l'ombre toute la journée. Entouré de vignes, d'oliviers, de figuiers, d'amandiers et d'avocats dans les contreforts du mont Maroma, à seulement 5 minutes en voiture des commodités locales de Canillas, à moins d'une heure de l'aéroport de Malaga et à environ 30 minutes de la plage, du parc aquatique, El Ingenio centre commercial et terrain de golf Baveria. Un endroit idéal pour la détente, l'équitation, la marche et le vélo.
Un bel endroit paisible et privé, confortablement meublé et proche de la nature.
Dans le village de Canillas, il y a des magasins locaux, des bars, des restaurants, des médecins, une pharmacie, des banques et une station de taxis.
Un bon emplacement pour explorer les environs, de la côte méditerranéenne à l'Alhambra de Grenade, ou tout simplement la vie espagnole locale, détendez-vous.

The Villa was as described in the advert. Lovely location and peaceful. If driving there an SUV or 4 wheel drive would be better suited as a few difficult roads.Would definitely recommend.

Stunning villa, beautiful location.

We were looking for somewhere to enjoy a peaceful and tranquil break, and this was perfect for us. A beautifully maintained villa set in the scenic Andalusian hills, it is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The villa had everything we needed and Gary the host was really helpful. We loved every minute of our stay and are looking forward to returning.

Perfect quiet location for exploration

Everything about this house was ideal and we loved our stay. A nightingale greeted us and sang throughout the week. This is an ideal location for exploring the Axarquia; we walked every day.

Perfect place to relax

We spent a relaxing week at Casa Rosa. The house was beautiful and lovely and clean. It had everything you could need. We loved the outdoor area too and spent many hours in the pool, eating outside and watching the wildlife. The pretty local villages were worth exploring. We had some great meals there too. Thank you to Gary for his prompt communication. We would definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful and tranquil setting

A question I always ask myself when I stay in a rental property is whether I would stay again. The answer of regard to Casa Rosa is definitely a resounding yes! Casa Rosa is a great property in a beautiful and tranquil setting that sits on a hillside looking towards the village of Canillas de Albaida. The property has all the facilities you need to just settle in and spend the whole time there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would like to thank Gary for all his help.

A lovely Vila for all family

We stayed at the villa for a week and everything was perfect. Getting to the villa was a bit tricky but Caroline was very helpful with directions. The pool was lovely and big, although a bit deep for children at first. The views were breathtaking and it’s in a very secluded area. The villa was equipped with everything from toasters to board games and lots of towels! And really clean! We had a lot of fun and will definitely be recommending.

Casa Rosa is a beautiful and wonderful located house! We’ve had an amazing holiday! It was clean en well maintained. Everything you’ll need to have a relaxt stay is available. We stayed in casa rosa with 2 adults and 1 child in the age of 6. Because of the location there is enough privacy. The road to get there is a little bit challenging but once you are used to it it’s doable, even at night! The owner of the house (Gary) was always available to answer the questions we had and responded quickly. We really recommend a stay in this house!

Excellent getaway close to beautiful village

The villa was everything we could have asked for once we found it. Arriving late didn’t help but luckily Gary the owner talked us through and in daylight it all seemed clearer. The villa is set in the most peaceful setting with a view to the village of Canillas de Albaida which has all of the facilities you could want. The boys spent all their time in the pool and it certainly helped to cope with the incredible 40 degree temperatures!!! There looked to be some lovely walking routes but just too hot to try, will need to return.

Very nice stay

We had a very enjoyable stay at Gary's villa in mid-September. The joining instructions were very helpful. We had to change our arrival flight at short notice which meant we didn't land until late and we still managed to reach the villa in the dark! The villa was spotlessly clean and tidy and provided everything that we needed during our stay. The surrounding area is beautiful, peaceful and quiet and yet only 5 minutes drive from the local village. All in all a lovely week and we would thoroughly recommend. Cathy and David

Summer in the Mountains

We have a wonderful ten days at Casa Rosa, the Villa itself is perfectly equipped with everything we needed and more. Spotlessly clean thanks to Caroline who we met on arrival and who couldnt have been more helpful. The villa is close to Canillas De Albaida but might be tricky for an unexperienced driver, however once we got our bearings we were soon exploring round to the beautiful town of Competa were we managed to catch their fesitval and further afield. A wonderful setting for the villa with great views to the village across the valley. The pool was perfect and was well needed as the temperatures were well into the 40s for most of our stay. Gary was a great host and any time we contacted him he couldnt have been more helpful. All in all a great holiday and highly recommend this to anyone looking to have a peaceful relaxed stay.

What can we say about Casa Rosa without it becoming too popular that we won’t be able to rent it again.... don’t go there if you want a tranquil setting with a fabulous pool. Super clean house with a warm welcome upon arrival and any small niggles sorted in super fast manner. If you hate the countryside this place is not for you - you will hate watching golden eagles glides above you of bats and swallows dipping down for a drink in the pool. The unimpaired view is horrid - just stunning Spanish countryside with olive groves and avocado trees. This was our second visit and the property has improved with changes since our last visit. There is now a lovely eating area with shade next to the bbq and a separate shaded area at the front of the property for when you need a break from the sun shine. The drive to the property is not a motorway trip but it’s exciting. You may get to hear the wild boar in the evening if you’re lucky! In Competa you have wonderful restaurants and a few bars in Canillas if you want a nearby beverage. All in all this property is fabulous.

Casa Rosa

We spent two weeks at Casa Rosa. Gary was an excellent host who responded quickly to our questions and even resolved an issue with the internet very quickly. The property itself was super clean, well presented and maintained. Bedrooms are well proportioned with plenty of space. The kitchen is spacious and had a selection of various items to get you started. The living accommodation is comfortable and whilst it has a TV, this is only connected to a DVD player. The internet was reliable and fast, and a good 4G phone signal. The outside area is beautiful, there is a lovely outside eating area/BBQ, and despite a little rain during our visit, the pool remained super clean throughout (which was a revelation to us). If you are considering this villa there are a few things to be aware of. This property is well off the beaten track but it is not secluded. A couple of overlooking properties (that are not obvious in the pictures) have a very good view of the pool area. From previous reviews we were quite surprised at the amount of activity in this small valley with multiple cars, vans, trucks passing each hour, lots of fruit pickers and even a peloton of mountain bikers, it was definitely much busier than we expected. The description says “easy access”. This is true for the property itself which has a paved, albeit steep, driveway, however the partially paved mud track leading from the main road we found to be in poor condition. Our car (A class Mercedes) struggled to get along this track without grounding, particularly as you turn from the track towards the property where the front spoiler caught on every occasion. If you are driving a SUV/4x4 this will not be a problem, but for smaller cars that you value the paint on, or hire cars where there is a damage excess, it is. We also struggled with the ‘bugs'. There are no mosquito screens on the windows, therefore opening them, especially at night, means you will have a house full of uninvited guests, or leaving them closed means you will be very warm. Despite deet, we both still got bitten a lot, although we found the wasps to be the biggest pain, especially when there is food around. Overall we did enjoy our stay, and some of the things that we have highlighted above may not be an issue for most. This is a beautiful, clean, well maintained property in a remote location, with all of the amenities that you need to enjoy your visit. The owner is attentive and responds quickly to questions and any issues.

Superbe villa dans laquelle on peut se détendre et profiter de la piscine et du barbecue. Par contre pas idéal pour effectuer la visite de la région car située en haut d’une route sinueuse de montagne avec beaucoup de virages pour y accéder.

Magnifique séjour Mais la route est dangereuse et c’est très loin des commodités. Coupure d’eau pendant 2 jours. Très compliqué avec mes enfants. Mais Gary et Hans ont tout géré.

Sehr entspannte 11 Tage mit der Familie! Schönes Haus, schöne Umgebung. Kinder hatten viel Spaß im Pool. Absolut empfehlenswert! PS: Der gemietete SUV hat sich in den kurvigen und teils geschotterten Bergstraßen sehr gut gemacht ;)

Fantásticas vacaciones

La casa está genial si lo que buscas es tranquilidad y disfrutar del entorno que te brinda la Axarquía. Dispone de todo lo necesario, está limpia y con buen gusto y sencillez en la decoración. Tan solo eché de menos una batidora, que para hacer gazpacho, purés, etc..resulta indispensable y alguna olla más grande y sartén en mejor estado. Sólo un pero a los colchones y almohadas que necesitan ser renovados, así como los de las tumbonas de la piscina que no pudimos usar porque estaban muy sucios. Pero son detalles a mejorar que no impiden que nuestra experiencia global haya sido fantástica. Volveríamos sin dudarlo. La atención vía mail de Gary ha sido muy buena y Caroline y Malcolm encantadores y dispuestos a solucionar cualquier inconveniente que surga, gracias por todo.

Bonita pero mal comunicada

Es una casa preciosa pero perdida en medio del monte con difícil acceso. Caminos a medio asfaltar llenos de curvas y cuestas. Estupenda si quieres privacidad y tranquilidad. Bonita decoración y estupenda terraza con piscina. Escaso menaje para cocinar.

We have been enjoying Casa Rosa now for 15 years and only started having guests a couple of years ago. The location is peaceful and quite idyllic, seeing the eagles soar on the thermals or the goats on the the hillside, real Spain at is best. Being only 30 minutes from the coast means happy beach days returning to sit by the pool and relax. Hopefully you will enjoy Casa Rosa as much as we do.
