Magnifique chalet classé Grade 2. Hunmanby, Filey.

Middle Cottage est un gîte indépendant de 3 chambres pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 4 adultes, 2 enfants et 1 bébé, et est situé à Hunmanby, la porte d'entrée des Wolds. Le village est niché entre la côte du Yorkshire et les Yorkshire Wolds, à 5 km à l'intérieur des terres de la fabuleuse ville balnéaire de Filey.

Ce charmant cottage de vacances se trouve sur le terrain de Hunmanby Hall - un ancien pensionnat pour filles et est l'un des trois cottages situés au bord du terrain. Sept marches mènent au chalet. Le chalet classé grade 2 dispose d'un grand salon avec un poêle à bois confortable. Grande cuisine à manger bien équipée. Trois chambres: une double, une twin et une avec lits superposés. Salle de bain avec douche dans la baignoire et WC.

Le stationnement est disponible dans les baies attribuées à 20 mètres du chalet dans l'enceinte de la salle.

Les magnifiques jardins sont entièrement fermés à l'arrière et à l'avant, ce qui les rend idéaux pour les enfants et les chiens.

La propriété accepte les animaux. Jusqu'à deux chiens matures et bien élevés sont les bienvenus. Pas de chiens admis à l'étage ou sur les meubles. Pourriez-vous s'il vous plaît vous assurer que vos animaux dorment dans la cuisine la nuit.

Dans le parc de la salle se trouve un gymnase, des courts de tennis, des promenades pour chiens et un parcours de golf 9 trous (petit supplément à payer).
Filey (3 miles), Scarborough (9 miles), Bridlington (9 miles), Hunmanby Gap (2 miles), Robin Hoods Bay et Whitby (25 miles) et le célèbre sanctuaire d'oiseaux RSPB à Bempton (5 miles) sont un must lors de la visite de la région.

Une promenade de 3 minutes à travers le parc de la salle mène au charmant centre du village avec trois pubs, une pharmacie, une boucherie, une coopérative, des salons de thé et un bon mélange d'autres magasins locaux. Un trajet de 5 minutes vous amènera à The Spirit of Yorkshire. Yorkshires est la première distillerie de whisky single malt.

Beautiful cottage in ideal location

We just loved the cottage, it was perfect for our stay. It was clean, tidy and beautifully furnished. Well equipped with everything we could possibly need. Great location, the village had great places to eat and a local shop, the beach was just a short drive away.

Beautiful Cottage it was so peaceful yet within a few minutes walk to Hunmanby village, the beds we're one of the comfiest that we have slept in,amenities within the Cottage we're also excellent

Beautiful cottage

This was our second stay in Middle Cottage. Very comfortable and well equipped. Great location for walking or just relaxing and enjoying the beach. I’m sure we will be back again next year .

We loved our visit to Middle Cottage! This was the second time we’ve stayed and we had a great time again. The location is perfect, the house clean with lovely furnishings, comfy beds and gorgeous gardens. Phil is a superb host and very accommodating; thanks for allowing us to stay 😊

Deceptively large living spaces. Very clean with everything we needed to ensure a lovely quiet holiday experience. The neighbours were very friendly. Communications regarding the holiday were good. Thank you very much. We may want to come back in the future and if the whole crew get involved we may need to book Andrew's place as well in the corner.

Lovely house in good location

The house is very clean, well equipped and very comfortable, the front and back gardens are a bonus and we sat out every evening. The location is perfect for getting around-the beach at Hunmanby Gap is lovely with a great little cafe on the way down, we walked along the beach to Filey , visited Castle Howard,, Flamingoland, Sewerby Hall and got the little coast train into Bridlington. There is a lot to offer, lovely places to visit but we ran out of time! Would highly recommend fish and chips from the village, delicious and very reasonably priced. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the host is contactable if you need anything(we didn’t) this really is a great holiday home, we would love to return.

Beautiful Cottage

From the moment we arrived and saw the property and the grounds in which it stood, we we loved it. Middle Cottage is immaculately kept, much more spacious than we imagined, and so clean. Comfy beds, great shower. The gardens were a bonus, so lovely to sit out in and enjoy the many flowers. The Cottage owner messaged us to wish us a happy holiday, and a friendly neighbour asked if we needed anything. A short and very pleasant walk into the village (Hunmanby Pantry recommended, amazing treats!). Hunmanby Gap beach only 6 minutes drive away, lovely little cafe there. Lovely place to stay well situated for everything

Very nice cottage our first time using vtbo The only thing to say was it would have been good to have a pint of milk to make a drink we were less than an hour away but after a long journey this would have been much appreciated

Well stocked with cooking utensils, crockery etc. Worked well with dogs. Great location with shops nearby. Could do with a information folder made up rather than bits in a drawer. Concerning all windows locked. Great stay

Thanks for your review Anthony, I’m really pleased you had a ‘great stay’. Regarding the windows, they have to be locked for insurance purposes. I can only imagine this is the case with all properties. With the windows being wooden sash, we have to use the small bolt-through locks that are most common for these type of windows. A Lovely Place to Stay

A comfortable and roomy cottage located in an ideal position for enjoying the North Yorkshire Coast. The local village is friendly with an excellent fish & chip shop and a good local Co-op open till late.

Perfect week in friendly village

Home from home for us and does what it says on the tin!! Hunmamby has lots to offer both as a sleepy village with plenty pubs and eateries or a perfect base to strike out for local coastal visits The cottage is next to a well tended 9 Holroyds golf course with 2 teeing off positions on each hole and for a good knock about for £15 is good value. Also a walk around the perimeter of the course in woodland shade is excellent value for £1 per person and a good mile. Really enjoyed and will return so thanks to Phil and all
