Bénéficiant d'un accès facile à la M4 - Junction 34 - ce gîte autonome en pin a beaucoup à offrir aux clients souhaitant se détendre dans un cadre rural. Niché dans le hameau de Castellau, il est centralement situé pour Cardiff, les vallées de Rhondda, Brecon Beacons et les zones côtières. La ville historique de Llantrisant avec des restaurants, des cadeaux et des cafés est facilement accessible. Près de la main se trouvent le Rhondda Heritage Park, le Welsh Folk Museum à St. Fagans, l'expérience de la Merveille Royale ainsi qu'une abondance de châteaux. Au nord, à 45 minutes en voiture, se trouvent les Brecon Beacons, au sud, la côte Glamorgan Heritage offrant un superbe terrain de marche au milieu de merveilleux paysages. Our stay was great. Very clean and well maintained lodge. There was a folder left on the coffee table (along with a torch) explaining everything about the facilities, also routes to walk or drive and nearby shops with beautiful scenery. Bed was very comfortable with all amenities and TV. Overall, it was everything we needed for our short weekend getaway. Rita was available if needed and kept us updated about everything. Thankyou so much Rita, we really enjoyed our visit

Beautifull and peaceful place.

We really enjoyed our 2 days stay at this place. Rita was so kind and helpfull to us and we had all facilities that we needed in cabin as well as T.V and DVDs. A place to relax and enjoy the nature. We will be back again.

Good stay near Cardiff

We had a very nice time in Alpine Lodge. From there we could reach numerous sights. The accommodation was simple, but very cosy and the price was very acceptable. When we had a minor problem with the wifi Rita was very helpful.

Peaceful

The area was very peaceful and relaxing. And the property had everything needed for our time away. Property is as clean and tidy in arrival and the information folder was very informative. Will definitely go again

All good, lodge clean with all you would want, the only moan would be the cooker to upgrade a bit. Would also have been nice to meet the host Rita.

Comfortable even in November

We were a little nervous on arrival as the weather was quite bad, but the Alpine lodge lived up to its name and didn't take much money on the meter to keep it warm for us. Rita showed us around and explained everything, and seems to have thought it all through for guests. Several planned walks round about but we didn't take them as we went into the city mostly. We had a tour of the Royal Mint nearby which was very interesting. Plenty of hot water for the shower so it all worked out fine for us.

What a lovely place!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Alpine lodge and we highly recommend it! The lodge was clean and cosy, it had everything we needed, the location is beautiful and we had a very relaxing week. Thank you again Rita, we loved every minute of our stay and we’ll definitely be back!

Lovely weekend away

Found the lodge easily and arrived to a contactless checkin. The lodges are well placed so you have the feeling on seclusion and lovely view outside. The ducks are a cute little bonus to have out front as you go for a walk. With being a short drive to Cardiff and Barry we were able to go for some days out while also having an evening stroll down the lanes. Overall a lovely stay and would definitely recommend others to stay.

Most nicest lodge and perfect location

Me and my husband really loved our stay the lodge was very well presented, very clean which I loved had everything we needed to cook on the kitchen area. The bedroom was very cosy as-well as spacious had the best sleep. Loved the location very peaceful and out of the way, beautiful nature around us. Overall the nicest lodge I’ve stayed at, was a lovely experience perfect of your looking to have a break and cut off from the rest of the world. Thank you Rita we’ve had a wonderful time in wales.

Beautiful getaway

Lovely little cabin in the middle of nowhere! Information book was very helpful and had lots of suggestions of things to do. There was tea and a packet of biscuits on arrival which was super cute, would highly recommend if wanting to go somewhere to relax and unwind!

Long weekend break

Beautiful cabin. Brought back memories of starting up our first home. Beautiful surroundings. Very peaceful and calm. Thank you for the welcome, the milk and biscuits. Would do it again and recommend to friends.

Perfect Romantic Retreat

Stunning location, so peaceful and private but only a 5 minute drive to local shops for essentials. Cottage was homely and cosy, plenty big enough for two adults, all on one level with good access for someone with limited mobility. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom perfectly serviceable and the kitchen had the basics covered. The outside space is gorgeous, especially in the warm weather. Would 100% recommend and would love to visit again.
