Villa Clara is exquisite.

Villa Santa Clara is exquisite in every way. My family loved the decor, the art, the views, the spacious house and patios. The kids loved the swimming pool.

A beautiful restful Vila Clara

We had a lovely time staying at Vila Clara. With access to town taking about 10 or so minutes from Vila to center. Everything was nice. Cecilia is a wonderful host. The grounds around the Vila are beautiful too. Enjoy!

A lovely villa in a beautiful setting.

The villa is in excellent condition with a very helpful owner. It is perfectly situated high above Santa Margherita with wonderful views over the town and harbour. A five minute walk along a quiet path leads to the shops and restaurants. Particularly recommended is taking a hire boat around to Portofino and Camolgi.

très belle villa, très belle vue

Maison super pratique à 5 min à pied de tous commerces du centre ville et des navettes bateaux, par petit chemin pédestre au fond de l'allée privée. Climatisation bien pratique. Attention pas de rideau de protection piscine, mais si vos enfants savent nager c 'est la paradis : très grande piscine, et spa. Accueil super , disponibles.

Stunning property in a vibrant town

Villa Clara is a stunning property, even better than the photos suggest, set amongst other beautiful properties, built into the terraced hillside. Amazing and extensive outdoor space, wonderful views of the marina, the town and the hills beyond. Beautiful interior with a white and blue theme. Very well equipped kitchen with a second fridge and freezer outside but under cover in the utility area. Large and spacious throughout for a larger party yet still homely and intimate for our party of 7. Very steep steps into town (with numerous restaurants, a carrefour and a co-op) dropping about 240ft, but only taking about 6 minutes but certainly kept us fit while we were there. We BBQd several times, had a private chef one evening. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, lovely crockery, table cloths etc. The town is a great base, plenty to do and so easy to visit Portofino (€6 each way by boat, €3 each way by bus, €50 by taxi - ouch! ) Camogli (€4 return and 5 mins by train) and just over an hour by boat to the first of the Cinque Terre. The chap looking after the property lives very close by, friendly and helpful (we used Google translate!) although we didn’t have any issues with anything it was good to know he was there. Highly recommended. It was a pleasure and a privilege to stay there.

Gorgeous place and city

This home has a stunning view and sits up on the hill overlooking the city and the bay. Everything was beyond our expectations in the quality of everything in this VRBO. We could walk down to the town and enjoy many of the restaurants and shopping. This will hold a special place for us.

Great Villa. Maybe, the best in Santa Margherita. Huge terrace, very nice Pool with a Great view.

I am very happy after being the whole week with friends and family. The villa is perfect for having kids and adults together and works perfectly up to 12 people. Valentina , Emiliano and Giacomo were always available. Higlhy rexommended.

Summer in Santa Margherita

This is a terrific property. The layout, pool and grounds were outstanding. The view was even better than anticipated, with water, harbor and city views all providing different perspectives. We were also very pleasantly surprised how easy the town access by foot allowed frequent trips for shopping, restaurants, and walks to both Rapallo and Portofino. This was a great 1 week stay for our group of 11 (4 kids). We hope to be back soon!

I travelled with 5 friends from different corners of the globe and fr the time we booked it several months before our arrival, all of our needs were attended to. Property is so beautiful. The house overlooking the hills and sea - magical. The steps down to the town we’re a little precarious , though. The pool was big, lovely and entertaining. Everyone loved swimming in the pool after a day of sightseeing. I definitely recommend the villa.

Beautiful Villa in great location

Our group of 6 recently stayed at the villa for 9 nights. We loved having the pool for our 4 big kids (12-22) to use daily. There was lots of room to spread out. Easy walk down the steps into the heart of town. We sometimes took a cab back up... The property manager arranged for us to have a private chef (Christine) a couple of nights and you should do the same (our best meals of the trip). There is an onsite manager who's very helpful, but doesn't speak English so we used Google translate when needed... The beds are very firm and if that's not your preference, you might want to request or bring your own mattress pad (I will next time...) Would definitely stay again.

Superb Villa - Just as lovely as the pictures.

We were a group of 9 who stayed in Villa Clara for 7 days in July. The villa was exceptional. Just as beautiful as the pictures illustrate, with an amazing view. It had plenty of space for the 9 of us with room to spread out both indoors and outdoors. We were travelling with children and so having a great pool to cool down in kept everyone happy. The amenities were of exceptional quality with everything that we needed to make this a great stay. We opted to eat in some nights after exploring the area and the kitchen was great to cook in. The world cup was on while we were in town so that fact that the villa had sky was a bonus. The Villa sits just above Santa Margherita village and is a 5 minute walk down hill and an 8-10 minute walk back up. Very easy and good for getting in that little bit of exercise whilst on holiday. Emiliano was great to deal with and very responsive and helpful when it came to answering questions about the local area. There is also a villa manager 1 minute away which is very helpful if you have any pressing needs. The next time we are in the area we would definitely love to go back and stay at Villa Clara. This was a great villa and a lovely location, I would recommend this to anyone.

Fantastic Villa!

We could not have been more happy with the villa! It completely lived up to our expectations. We went with family and always had anywhere between 6-10 people at any one time, and the villa always felt comfortable, never crowded. The pool was a dream and the property was beautiful. Also, Emiliano, the property manager, was wonderful to work with. He always answered all questions in a timely fashion and helped us out with anything we needed. He really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect.

Pictures do this property no justice. Simply breathtaking. We had a wonderful week staying in Santa Margherita and at Villa Clara with friends. Emiliano and his caretakers were most helpful in making our week a memorable one. From recommendations to securing a chef for us, we had everything we needed to relax and enjoy all Italy has to offer.

Incredible property!

Villa Clara was better than advertised... can't wait to go again. The property was very clean, well equipped and excellent location. Short walk to town which has many excellent restaurants, shopping and beaches. We walked to Portofino and Rapallo. There are plenty of taxis available and the local bus was easy to use too. The property caretakers Giacomo and Luisa, who live nearby, are very pleasant, helpful and attentive. Villa Clara...incredible!

The villa was absolutely amazing

The villa was absolutely amazing - the view from the deck is incredible in person. The villa is a 5 minute walk from the center of Santa Margherita - there is a pathway that leads directly from villa to the center square where you can find a bakery, pasta store, wine store, and many restaurants and shops. Also, you can jog (or walk) to Paraggi Beach in about 20, or Portofino in 30 minutes along a spectacular path that overhangs the Ocean. The hosts were very accommodating and provided excellent restaurant recommendations - Cape Norde (North Cape) was our favorite restaurant.
