Nancy the property manager was great, she gave us a brief tour and was extremely helpful. We loved having pool, shuffleboard and bags tournaments as well as swimming off the dock. Lovely home and lots of great memories.

Spacious and relaxing.

There was plenty of room for everyone to stay and not be cramped. The dock was amazing to swim off. The drive back into town was long so made sure to get what we needed while in town. The may flies were there by the hundreds. Overall..beautiful place with plenty to do!

Millie’s Getaway was the perfect spot for our family vacation to the Lake of the Ozarks! The house offered a beautiful view from both the deck and indoor spaces, and it was clean, spacious, and comfortably accommodated our entire group. We especially appreciated that each bedroom had its own attached bathroom, which made things easy for everyone.The check-in process was smooth, and the property manager was friendly and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The dock and boat slips were great, and the kids had a blast swimming and fishing right off the dock. We also enjoyed using the kayaks and making the most of the outdoor areas for relaxing and spending time together.

Winter getaway

This was our second time staying at Millie’s getaway. Everybody loves the property and amenities. Property manager is great to work with and very helpful. No complaints. Looking forward to more stays in the future.

Family Christmas

We spent a long weekend at Millie's for our family Christmas. We absolutely loved it. There was plenty of room for everyone and we all loved having our own bathrooms. The open area including the kitchen, dining room and living room was very spacious. We had various activities going on between us and were still all able to be in the same room. We also enjoyed the dock, outdoor firepits and the kayaks. We would definitely stay again!

Millie’s wonderful retreat

There were around 22 of us from 3 different states that met at Millie’s for our family Thanksgiving. This is the perfect set up for large groups. The kids and adults loved playing pool and shuffleboard!! Beautiful setting and the fire pit was wonderful. There is a pantry with griddles, crockpots, and large cooking pots that came in very handy. Thanks for making it a wonderful place to stay!!

An Oustanding Climactic experience

Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about our experience. The house was clean and everything was in good working order. The house was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. Particularly loved the gigantic dining room table. It was perfect for our very large family get together. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Fall at Millie’s

Loved the property. We had a larger group of family (23 total) and had enough rooms/beds for all. Location was perfect with great lake views and yard for kids to run around in. Kids loved the sand beach area too. Was beautiful in late October. Plenty of kitchen space and dining space for us all. Property manager met us on check in/check out and was very helpful. Would love to come back.

Weekend with friends.

This place is incredible! Luxurious and spacious accommodations, scenic and private on a quiet section of the lake. Lots of wildlife. The beach campfire was wonderful. We ate like royalty, and had plenty of room to cook and clean. Everyone had a blast, even the dogs! Thank you Millie’s, we will be back again!

Beautiful property with amazing lake access!

We loved our trip to Millie’s getaway! This was our first trip to lake of the ozarks so we were not familiar with the area. This home is about an hour from the touristy things for kids which was fine for us because we planned to spend most of the time at the house and on lake. We rented the pontoon boat and had fun on the lake. This side of the lake is quite and made tubing with the kids fun and a lot less stressful. We were bummed there is no canopy to provide shade for our parents. There was 4 families and we all fit very comfortably in the house. House stayed cool and the 2 kitchens was very useful during meal times. The water mat was so much fun for the kids!! They loved swimming around the dock and playing on the mat. The only other thing that would have been nice is TVs in the rooms. During family trips it’s sometimes nice to lay down and watch your own TV in the evening but overall no complaints we would love to stay again!

Beautiful property in a great location

My cousins and I as well as some family friends met up here for a reunion. The home is incredibly spacious. The kitchens & butler's pantry were stocked so amazingly well! Nancy was very helpful and always made sure we were seen to immediately. There were a couple small disappointments that I think others should be aware of, but didn't diminish our stay, so I still gave it 5 stars. It shows the master suite with a king and 2 singles. The two singles are just mattresses, not beds so we did have to have some folks on mattresses on the ground & we put kids there so it wasn't a big deal. Also, we rented the boat that is available and when we got there found out we couldn't be out on the water after dusk because they had removed the lights. While I do understand (apparently people were getting lost on the lake at night or damaging the boat), we do know how to operate a boat and navigate and had planned on using the boat at night for fireworks and fishing. Like I said, these things were pretty minor, but if you have specific plans for using the boat after dark or if you have adults that would be unhappy with a mattress on the floor for a bed they should just be known. Overall, still a great stay.

Amazing house and property!

What an amazing house! We have 7 kids, their spouses, and 9 grandkids and this house was perfect for us. So clean, large property, and right on the lake. Even better than the pictures! Thanks for an amazing week and we would definitely stay here again!

What makes Millie’s Getaway special to me is the way it brings people together. It’s not just a place to stay — it’s a space where families reconnect, friends laugh late into the night, and memories are made that last for years. The home was designed with gatherings in mind, from the two full kitchens and spacious common areas to the multiple bedrooms that make it easy for large groups to stay comfortably under one roof.

I also think the location sets it apart. Nestled in a peaceful nook on the main channel, the setting is both quiet and scenic — perfect for morning coffee by the water or a full day out on the lake. Having a private dock with boat slips and jet ski lifts makes getting on the water incredibly convenient, which I know guests really appreciate.

To me, it’s the perfect balance of relaxation and recreation — and that’s what makes it truly unique.
