Location Location Location!Clare met us upon arrival with a very welcome French picnic. The apartment is beautifully decorated and very well equipped! Needless to say we felt at home! Walk out the door with the river on the right and the amazing historic town to the left. The Dordogne valley is magical.

Such a lovely French apartment in the old part of Bergerac. We were so close to restaurants, bars, wine tastings, and shops. We spent many hours in the garden enjoying the view of the river just across the road. It was beautiful.The house was spacious and the kitchen stocked with plenty of pots, pans etc and basic commodities plus there’s a washing ms jibe. So perfect for a few nights stay!

Clare's river view town house is a delight. Located by foot from Bergerac's best restaurants and shops, the house can be visited without a car. The large walk-in shower has plenty of hot water, and the wifi connection is excellent. Best of all is the comfy living room furniture: we felt very cozy!

We loved our first stay at this beautiful apartment last year that we immediately booked a return visit this year. The apartment is wonderfully situated on the riverside and is full of character. It is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. A true delight. Host, Clare, goes above and beyond to ensure that her guests have a memorable stay. Highly recommended.

Perfect spot in Bergerac

We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is comfortable, the location is ideal and our host was both gracious and very responsive. We would absolutely stay there again.

Everything we needed in a great location to explore the area and enjoy Bergerac. The garden space was lovely though there is busy traffic just below, conversation difficult.

This was our second stay at this apartment and it was just as enjoyable as our first visit. It’s a lovely homely apartment and has everything you need . The location is perfect and with plenty of very good restaurants within a short stroll, you are spoilt for choice. I thoroughly recommend this apartment.

Fantastic location, overlooking the river and very close to all restaurants and sights of Bergerac.

What a gem of a place! Clare has a beautiful ground floor apartment, with a classy style of decor. You won’t find a better location and Clare communicated tremendously well both in advance and during our stay.

Thoroughly Enjoyable

A lovely, well situated apartment. In addition to a beautiful view, it is within walking distance of shops, cafes and restaurants, and the tourist office. Access to a relaxing boat ride and a small open air train ride around the city are also close by. I especially liked all the reading material around including tourist info. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

A truly fantastic place to stay in Bergerac. Perfect location with plenty of free parking nearby. The apartment is very spacious and cool inside even when the temperature is very hot outside. We had a very warm welcome from Clare who is very attentive. We couldn’t recommend Clare’s place enough if you want to enjoy a perfect break in Bergerac with spectacular views and sunsets. Luxurious apartment with riverside views

Fabulous apartment, incredibly spacious, well furnished and great views from the terrace of the Dordogne. Just a few steps away from restaurants, bars right in the centre of Bergerac. Easy parking too which is always a consideration in a town centre. Thanks to Clare for making it such an enjoyable stay!
