Lovely holiday home

Great place to stay with the family. Good quality home, great comms with owners and just a really nice and easy process when arriving. Nice to be in a holiday rental where things like the Internet, heating etc are all set up and without any faff. Would recommend

Incredible property, peaceful location and plenty to do

We had an absolutely fantastic time while staying at Swansea Valley Holiday Cottages. we stayed in Ty-Gambo and the overall property and facilities surpassed our expectations. The farm is nicely secluded in a very peaceful setting, but also not too far away from local amenities. The visitor guide book inside the property was absolutely incredible with so many useful pieces of information on what to do locally and where to explore. It made us realise that we will definitely have to come back again to see much more as we only got to visit a fraction of what was contained within. Richard, our host was extremely helpful and whilst we missed his call on arrival he did check in to make sure everything was ok and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit for a few days during the February half term.

We're delighted that you enjoyed the peaceful setting and the many things to do in the area. Being so central in South Wales certainly gives lots of options for places to visit and things to do.

Short break at Easter

Excellent property in a great location. Friendly host that was happy to chat away to us. Modern and very comfortable. We had 2 adults and 4 kids, 2 of which were teenagers. Accommodation had everything we needed for our stay. Hosts have gone to great lengths to leave a vast amount of information regarding the farm and local area and all the history dating back a long time ago. Very interesting. Internet was good enough to stream sky sports or Netflix. Great walks around the area of the farm and surrounding area that have been marked and highlighted for residents. Only a few things could’ve made this stay a little better. Only one shower between all 3 bedrooms made getting out accommodation in morning a little delayed, master bedroom is big enough to get an en-suite in there. Shower temp would start off ok but drop to a lukewarm very quickly and this was with it turned to max temp. Water temp at kitchen tap seemed hotter. Not unusable but I like a hot shower. We weren’t staying long enough to moan about it. Main bedroom door latch gets stuck in and you need to fiddle with it to get it to pop back out otherwise door does not stay shut, this is not a compliant but more a note for the host to recognise and make necessary repair, brass cover plate just needs moving up a fraction. But all in all a charming barn conversion and lovely place to stay. Thanks. 😊

Naturally, we were concerned to learn that there were aspects of your stay at our cottage that were not to your satisfaction. We are a family run business and the comfort and happiness of our guests is of paramount importance. We have staff on site 24 hours a day and a maintenance person on call at all times. The shower temperature and door handle were both easily resolved. If you do ever visit us again in future, please do let us know if you have any issues and we will deal with them promptly for your comfort and happiness as well as that of our future guests.

Schönes Cottage in prima Lage

Das Cottage ist sehr gut ausgestattet, schön hell und hat alles, was man braucht. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, naturnah und perfekt für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen in South Wales.
