Tons of people swimming that don't seem to be staying there, no wristbands, drove off. And in the summer, with that many people, it needs to be vacuumed daily, NOT twice a week!

The only complaint was not having access to an elevator for our older guests. Would definitely stay again.

New owners upgraded the unit in 2015....everything brand new and well appointed. Kitchen well supplied with utensils and cooking pots. Love the location close to town, the beach, and the activity on the shipping channel. Always something to see and do.

Condo 107 was gorgeous the views were amazing and on our last day the surprise of seeing 4 sea turtles. The only small thing was one of the beds appeared to have black dog hair in the sheets, which we did report. Since there was extra beds available we just used another bed. Other than that the condo was very clean, comfortable and the staff was absolutely fantastic!

All the beds are super comfortable. The pool was warm. The pier was fun and some were catching bull Redfish at night. With all the huge ships in view from the condo, you couldn’t ask for anything more. Hoping to stay many winters in 107.

Kitchen well equipped, comfortable beds, bright bathrooms. The property is well maintained, staff friendly, and other guests friendly at the pool and the pier. Loved the property renovations with the picnic pavilion and heated pool, and pier improvements. We enjoy watching the ships on the channel, and activity in the adjacent marina, and proximity of the jetty sidewalk and the beach. The rebuild of the complex after the hurricane was well done! #107 holds lots of memories for our family as my parents spent November there for many, many years. We’ll be back!

Last "Summer" get away for the Year!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Channelview Condos before & enjoyed it but first time in room 107 it was my favorite by far. The condo had a beautiful view, a nice sitting area right outside the door where you could sit, see the bay & harbor next door (as long as the elevator was one floor up or floor down this was my only complaint) but that was a little thing! The decor was what you would expect for a beach condo, very welcoming, kitchen was well stocked. I also love having a washer-dryer in the unit. The place was spotless! The grounds around the condo complex amazing, pool is big & lite at night, a pier that you could fish on all day & night (that was my grandson's favorite). We will defiantly be stay here again sooner rather than later I hope!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an overall good stay. The condo was very clean. The beds were comfortable and cute decor. Our kids enjoyed the pool. However, The ventilation is not very good at this location because the first two days we stayed someone was clearly smoking weed next door and the room my kids were in smelled very strong of weed. It went away after our second day there. It is a condo so we could hear people above us moving chairs around and things like that until about 1am one night. Would probably stay in a house next time to avoid these issues. When you pay as much as we did to stay a weekend you hope to not have to smell your neighbors bad habits. But the property was well taken care of and it was an overall ok experience.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived for our three month rental in 107 Channel View on December 15th 2020. The outside elevator was locked so we could not use it until another owner in the building unlocked it so we could use it. When we entered the unit it appeared to be as described as far as furnishings. It was beautiful. But the unit, which was supposed to be cleaned after the last occupant, had sand on the floors in all the rooms, the windows were so dirty, the view that we paid for was obscured very badly. The living room rug was very dirty around the edges if you lifted it up. It also was so full of cockle burrs that we could not walk on it without having shoes on. We called Port A Escapes and they sent out housekeeping right away to do a through cleaning inside and the outside windows, which we appreciated very much. The owners happened to stop by a couple of days later just to introduce themselves and we ask them to please replace the rug with the cockleburs in it, but they never did. I took the time to pull out over 100 cockleburs and ask Port A Escapes to have the rug replaced, but never heard back. The owners of this unit could care less about our comfort or getting what we paid for. We will be looking elsewhere next winter.

Lovely view, not good for families with small kids

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was great, view was very nice (the sun rises are gorgeous), the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. Make sure you bring your own coffee because it is not supplied. My main complaint (I have 2) is that the small floor level windows in the living room are operable, which is a horrible idea for someone with small kids especially on the second story. My child is 19 months so he cant open the windows yet, but for anyone with children a little bit older, this could end really bad. Another thing is that there is a little wire cart in the parking garage. It blew into my new car and scratched the paint all up. Overall we had a good stay, but we would not rent that unit again because of the windows.

Everything is decorated beautifully. Plenty of room with great amenities. The pier at night offers great fishing. The only thing that is lacking is boat parking. We were able to park our boat but not easily. The property has a large field that is not landscaped that could be used for boat parking. This is the only thing missing from this amazing property.

Great Location - Awsome Views - Fishing Pier!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Channelview Condos in Port Aransas for 10 days during our summer vacation and we loved it! The Condo had a wall of floor to ceiling windows in the living room that afforded a spectacular view of both the boat docks and the shipping channel. The bedrooms were very spacious and several large beds fit in each perfectly - they were ALL very comfortable as well. It had a well stocked modern kitchen, a washer and dryer and the bathrooms were beautiful. The only thing I had a slight problem with was smart thermostat! My dad owned a heating and AC company so I know my way around an HVAC system and am pretty tech savvy too; however, it was preset to 67° and we froze the entire trip! I would suggest you check with management and have them either leave the manual or have them preset it to "sweater comfortable" and not "frozen tundra". It may have been a bit chilly but we are already trying to lock in our vacation dates for next year and will book as soon as we can. You won't be disappointed with the place so grab a sweater and go!

Chanelview Condos best place to stay in Port A

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at this Condo location for 11 straight years won’t ever stay anywhere else. It’s fits our needs perfect! This particular condo is extremely clean and would recommend it to anyone. When we got there the ac worked great and was chilly in room but as week went it couldn’t keep up. Called Port A Escapes and they had maintenance guy there in 10 minutes. That’s only complaint but was still bareable. Again I’ll never stay anywhere else.
