My wife and I stayed for a long weekend. Second time we have stayed in this home. It is exactly what we were looking for in a retreat in Maine. We will be staying at this house again.

Spacious cabin style

House was very comfortable. Wonderful association beach that was unfortunately inhabited by geese even with all deterrents in place…. But we loved it nonetheless. The only thing was difficulty regulating the shower temperature. Definitely would stay again. Everything you would want Moosehead vacation to be!

Enjoy Lake life!

The house is as described, the 3 bedrooms was the right size for 6 adults. Large well stocked kitchen made meal preps easy. The location is perfect to get your fill of Moosehead Lake. Dock and beach area are close by. Enjoyed every sunset! Parking for 3+ cars, outdoor fire area, deck and table, gas grill. Check in and discussions with owner were easy. Will return!

Perfect Getaway

The place was great. We are planning on moving to Maine within the next couple of years and have wanted to experience each season up there. This time was mud season and it did not disappoint. The lake was still frozen (as expected) but the temperature was 50 degrees so it was a perfect short walk down the path to the private lake area to sit and enjoy the views. My grandson had a blast. The house came with everything necessary and had comfortable space. The neighbors are all very friendly. Joe, the host, could not have been better. Very communicative and let us know all we needed to before we even got there.Great area of Moosehead with all necessary amenities nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed it

We enjoyed staying in Beaver Cove and the beds were very comfy. The house was very well stocked and having access to the washer and dryer was great. Short walk to the beach and dock so we saw amazing sunsets and Star gazing was the best.

Wonderful location

Our family had an excellent vacation at Beaver Cove. There are hiking/ biking trails from the door and the beach is close by. It is just a beautiful area and the house was clean and very comfortable. We had a terrific experience and would love to rent it again! The Caulfields

Relaxing home away from home

We enjoyed our stay very much!!!

We had a great stay at this house this past week. It is a very comfortable house and is equipped with everything that you wood need. For a wonderful stay. There is an Association Beach that is just a short minute or so walk down a path. Also a shared dock that you could launch a kayak or canoe. You can see the lake on either side of the house right across from this house. It is a very quiet area and the lake. Is fantastic!!! It is a great place to stay if you are planning a trip up to Moosehead Lake.!!!

Great place!

Great location, very peaceful. The entire area feels wild but there are houses all around (perfect combination for a get away). We saw few animals at night. A beach is few steps away. Water is clear and the views are just great. The house had everything you need. It was a treat to eat dinner on the deck in the evening. Weather was a mixed bag during out stay but we managed to explore the area. We hope to come back in the future.

Accommodating stay

My wife and I decided last minute we wanted to work remotely and booked a trip for a change of scenery out of southern Maine. What better way to be able to enjoy the beginning of the foliage season in Moosehead! Joe and Lisa are very accommodating and thorough with communication. Their place is clean, quiet and has everything you need!

Perfect family getaway spot

This was our third summer staying in Beaver Cove and we will be back. The house is clean and family friendly and in a perfect location. We enjoyed hiking near the water and the fire pit!

A wonderful retreat not too far off the beaten path

Thanks so much for providing such a charming & wonderful place to stay while in Moosehead Lake/Beaver Cove. The location of the home is incredibly convenient to Greenville and other areas along the lake. We loved our stay in this peaceful home! It was exceptionally clean with all the amenities we could have hoped for. The beds were comfy, the private beach was a quick walk from the house and the sunsets at the dock were awesome. Joe the owner is quick to respond and made everything so easy. Thank you so much for offering your home as a vacation rental! It was just what we needed. We cant wait to come back next year!
